Ganath was a planet[3] located in Hutt Space[2] and the Slice's[1] Ganath system. It was situated in grid square R-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2] At Ganath, members of the sentient Hutt species engaged in illicit activities.[3] It shared its name with the Ganath Cloud nebula.[4]
Behind the scenes
Ganath was mentioned in first issue of Titan Magazines' Star Wars Jedi Master Magazine[3] published on November 16, 2015.[5] Ganath originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, first appearing in the fourth issue of the Star Wars: Dark Empire II comic series, which was written by Tom Veitch, illustrated by Cam Kennedy, and published by Dark Horse Comics[6] on March 21, 1995.[7]
