Unidentified green species (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

I've been digging into the wackiness of the various Iskalonian species and got into a brief bout of confusion about the Graygl and Frid, though I believe a definitive enough depiction of both has been found. They're not too relevant to this TC, just context for why I even found this.

Aaaanyway, this one is your standard unidentified species in violation of the notability policy. We only see one individual of the species (while we see several Iskalonian species and individuals in the issue they're from, none of them resemble this one enough to confidently claim we see multiple of them), the species is unidentified (more specifically, the traits of this individual do not match any of the species described in Star Wars Gamer 1 or The Essential Guide to Alien Species, which describe the known Iskalonian species in-depth), we don't have any behind the scenes information on them (at least, none on the article or that I am aware of), they do not have a known homeworld (while they do reside on Iskalon, none of the (known) Iskalonian species are from Iskalon; this might be a point of contention), the individual has no backstory or accomplishment attributed to their species (aside from migrating to Iskalon, which is not a unique attribute to them, but this also renders the article for the Iskalonians as a whole more suitable for describing them, imo), and there isn't ample description or noted focus on them to justify them having an article. The article for the Iskalonians as a whole group moreover serves as a sufficient space to describe this individual in spite of their own lack of notability.

Aside from going down the list of notability requirements for a sentient species, there is also the fact that the art of Star Wars (1977) 74 can be quite inconsistent, and this individual could very well be intended as a member of another Iskalonian species that is known (despite not matching the descriptions provided for any of them). This design inconsistency is the entire reason I even went digging into the Iskalonians to begin with.

Edit: I will also posit that there is a possibility that this individual might not be one of the known migratory Iskalonians. For all we know they could be native to Iskalon, unlike the others. Edit 2: I've double checked the sources. They do not ever state that Iskalon had no native species. However, they do state that the Iskalonians have 11 further member species beyond the six named ones (though, again, no clarification that all of them were migrant species).   10. I'd treat Iskalon as their (new) homeworld, but otherwise yeah, not much notability here to warrant an article of their own, just plenty of ambiguity. Neat artwork though. OOM 224 01:04, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
