Currently, the page for Clone Commander Ponds sits at Ponds, while his Legends sits at CC-6454. The discussion below will be held to determine if the page should instead be moved to Ponds, with his Legends moving to Ponds/Legends.

As per the Wookieepedia:Naming policy, a clone trooper who prefers their number to their name will have their page at their number. The contention over if Ponds fits this description comes from his death scene in "Lethal Trackdown."

In the scene, Ponds is held at gunpoint by Aurra Sing, who demands his name. He initially refuses, to which she kicks him and demands it again. To this, he gives his number CT-411. Sing deems this "pathetic." Sing then executes the Clone Commander. Anakin sadly notes "that was Ponds." His body is then thrown out into space. Move to Ponds and Ponds/Legends

  1. I'm reminded of a scene in Republic 60, where Alpha only gives his number and status to Ventress while being tortured. He does so to maintain military regulations and to deny her any answers. Ponds looks to be doing the same. He refuses to answer and then only gives his number, which Aurra deems pathetic. Anakin's sad note of "that was Ponds" to me seals the deal that his name should be his page name. He insults Aurra in his final moments by just giving the number. I don't see enough evidence to hold that his number is his preferred option Editoronthewiki (talk) 22:40, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
