I'd like to use this animated gif to replace the still image of the same scene in the bleeding page. I think it better illustrates the process. - JMASHey, it's me! 19:34, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
Realizing there could be confusion, this is not a vote to put the gif in the infobox. This is to replace the still image in the body of the page. - JMASHey, it's me! 03:32, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
I think a gif of Dagan Gera bleeding his crystal could also be beneficial to show bleeding inside and outside the lightsaber! Mor9347 (Talk) 21:16, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
I am voting support because I do think this will make the page better, but I do want to say that Fan26 below isn't wrong. Dr. Kermit(Complain.) 20:02, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
For me the shaking and going back and forth actually better depicts the messy nature of bleeding. Just don't just turn to the dark side and then instantly bleed your crystal. It's like a battle of back and forth before you fully give in. This gif depicts that perfectly. Master Fredcerique(talk) (he/him) 20:18, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
More short GIFs on the Wook is always good for illustrative quality. — Commandant Bhatoa (talk) 14:33, 3 June 2025 (UTC)

I risk controversy saying this, but I think the infobox reflecting that the crystal itself is what changes color provides a more accurate main imageEditoronthewiki (talk) 23:49, 24 May 2025 (UTC)

This is what happens when you try to grad student and Wook at the same time Editoronthewiki (talk) 03:47, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
GIFs are a thing we ought to use sparingly IMO, and the existing image is a screencapture of the red already creeping up the blue. Fan26 (Talk) 11:38, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
Per Fan, this isn't a case where a GIF is illustrating it in a way an image cannot, since the image shows the process the same Lewisr (talk) 17:39, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
Yeah, if the bleeding wasn't as shakey as in the gif, I'd support it, but I feel that this is less clear than a static image. OOM224 18:04, 30 May 2025 (UTC)

Hmm, is it possible to be a gif of the crystal itself starting to bleed? Editoronthewiki (talk) 19:40, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
The still of that is already in the infobox, and it pretty clearly shows the crystal's blue color being overtaken by red. I don't think that would be as visibly noticeable as a gif like this is. - JMASHey, it's me! 23:21, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
