Wole was a Rodian mercenary[2] who was a member of the Path of the Open Hand cult and its sub-group the Path of the Closed Fist.[5] He joined the cult in 382 BBY,[6] shortly before it departed the planet Dalna for the holy moon Jedha. He was assigned to join several other Path members led by prospector Radicaz Dobbs on a mission to the fabled Planet X to retrieve eggs of the Nameless species and bring them back to the Path compound on the planet Dalna so that they could be used against the Jedi. When attempting to escape The Veil around the planet after retrieving many of the eggs on the ship the Bonecrusher, Wole suggested that he perform a hyperspace jump out of it, a member of the Path on Wole's ship named Geth conveying this to Dobbs over comm. Dobbs suggested it was crazy, but a woman named Shea Ganandra who was an engineer on Dobbs's ship used The Force to modify the coordinates of his Path and sent them over to Wole. Wole believed her path to be nonsense, but she insisted it would work if they modified their jump thrusters. After Wole made the jump, the ship disappeared in a massive burst of light that Ganandra believed was either the ship exploding or falling out of hyperspace.[2]
Eventually, Wole's ship that contained Path members Shalish and Geth and many of the eggs suddenly fell out of hyperspace in front of the Galactic Republic Pathfinder ship Witherbloom. After their ship entered a firefight with the Pathfinder ship, both ships crash-landed on a rocky planet, breaking open one of the Nameless eggs and setting the creature free. Wole travelled the fallen ship with Path members Geth and Shalish, who had also been on board, coming into conflict with a Jedi named Sula Badani who questioned them.[4] After Badani was affected by the effects of the creature, Wole and the others used the opportunity to escape her.[5] However, Wole and the other Path members were eventually forced to work with the Jedi and Pathfinders to survive, though Shalish was very vocal about her disdain for them and tried to get Wole to abandon them.[7] Eventually, one of the Pathfinders came up with a plan to stop the creature by blowing up the ship with it inside, and Wole helped them carry out the Plan. But after Shalish heard the creature approaching the engine room they were in, she decided to abandon the Pathfinder, bringing a reluctant Wole with her. In the end, both were killed by the creature, an injured Wole explaining what had happened to Jedi Rok Buran shortly before dying.[8]
