Episode I: Obi-Wan Kenobi is a one-shot adaptation of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace told from the perspective of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The comic was written by Henry Gilroy, illustrated by Martin Egeland, and published by Dark Horse Comics on June 2, 1999. In 2015, Episode I: Obi-Wan Kenobi was digitally republished by Marvel Comics under the Star Wars Legends banner.

Publisher's summary

Though all eyes are on the boy Anakin Skywalker, there is another young man making his rite of passage. The only thing standing between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knighthood is a lesson he must learn from his Jedi Master, but the only place where he can learn that lesson is in the middle of an intergalactic war![1]
