- "Mynocks never tasted this good."
- ―Slogan on mynock juice cans
Mynock juice was a beverage that shared its name with[1] the silicon-based mynock species.[2] The drink was served in a triangular prism-shaped silver and red ribbed can with a teal label that bore a red mynock logo and trim and a slogan and the brand name written in white aurebesh. There were three open mynock juice cans left on the work surfaces of the Twi'lek mechanic Sornah Bocc's garage on the planet Malastare when the Prae'tus podracer Volo Bolus returned there after losing a race on the Hydian-Hutta Podracing Circuit[1] around 10 BBY.[3] There was also a can on the ground beside a chair outside Sornah's studio where she sat to find inspiration.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, mynock juice appeared in the Industrial Light & Magic virtual reality game Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset.[1] The juice originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was mentioned in "Everyone's a Critic," an article written by Morrie Mullins relating to the Living Force Star Wars Roleplaying Game campaign published on Wizards of the Coast's website Wizards.com on March 31, 2005.[4]
