Dyn Pilga grunts and chokes as Mae-ho Aniseya beats and then headlocks him
Dyn Pilga was a human who worked as a lumberjack in summer and a trapper in winter on the planet Ueda during the High Republic Era. In 132 BBY, he visited the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop in Point Ueda and sat talking with the Jedi Master Indara. When the Sith assassin Mae-ho Aniseya approached and demanded that Indara attack her, Pilga laughed. When Aniseya then attacked those sitting with the Jedi, Pilga got up and fought back, but the assassin defeated Pilga and then killed Indara.

[Dyn Pilga and others laugh] - ―Mae-ho Aniseya confronts Indara
Dyn Pilga laughed at Mae-ho Aniseya's demand to fight Indara.
Dyn Pilga was a human local to the planet Ueda during the High Republic Era. During the world's summers, he worked as a lumberjack and cleared out overgrowth in the coastal forests of Ueda's archipelagos. In the winter, he would instead work as a trapper and helped keep the size of the pinedriller population under control.[1] In 132 BBY,[3] Pilga visited[2] the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop in Point Ueda, the capital of Ueda,[1] and sat at a table in the back corner[4] with[2] three other locals: Lobereki, Ohal Alond, and Tianris Mez,[1] and the Jedi Master Indara.[2]
Pilga was talking to Indara when the Sith assassin Mae-ho Aniseya approached the table and addressed Indara, telling the Jedi that they had unfinished business. She then lowered herself into a fighting stance and demanded that Indara attack her. After a moment of silence, Mez began laughing, and Pilga and the other two locals quickly joined in; however, Indara silenced them with a hand motion and then declined to fight. Angered by Indara's claim that Jedi did not attack the unarmed, Aniseya then attacked Alond and subdued both him and Mez when the latter tried to intervene. Pilga and Lobereki then leapt up from their side of the table, and the trapper swung a fist at Aniseya, although she dodged and punched him in the stomach, causing him to hunch over and stagger away.[2]
Dyn Pilga was defeated in combat by Mae-ho Aniseya.
After Aniseya threw Lobereki across a table, Pilga lunged at her again to grab her, but the assassin dodged and kicked him before flipping him into a reverse headlock. As she held a struggling Pilga, Aniseya saw Lobereki go for his blaster and so dropped Pilga with a punch to the chest before leaping at the last of Indara's four dining companions. Pilga then remained sprawled on the floor as Aniseya defeated Lobereki and finally Indara, who she killed. The Jedi Order later investigated the incident.[2]
Personality and traits
Pilga felt protective of Ueda's environment. He had light skin, brown hair, and eyes.[1]
Equipment
While at the noodle shop, Pilga wore a black hat made from pinedriller wool, a gray shirt, and a green sleeveless jacket with a brown bandolier.[1]
Behind the scenes
Dyn Pilga appeared in "Lost / Found,"[2] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[5] The scenes in the shop were filmed at Shinfield Studios,[6] England.[7] Prior to the release of the episode, Pilga was revealed in a trailer exclusively shown at Celebration Europe[8] during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.[9] He was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
