Pinedriller wool was a type of wool harvested from the pinedrillers found in the coastal forests of the planet Ueda.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] the trapper Dyn Pilga—who kept Ueda's pinedriller population in check during the winter—wore a black pinedriller wool hat[1] when visiting[3] the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop in Point Ueda, capital of Ueda.[1]

Pinedriller wool appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] It was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
