Falaem Onn was a humanoid member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic team called the Rebel Four. By 0 BBY, Onn and the team went on a mission to the Outer Rim planet Vatleria and confirmed the presence of an Imperial base there. The team attacked the stormtroopers there, with Onn flying in on a jetpack. However, they were defeated by traps activated by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, which resulted in Onn being burned to death.

Falaem Onn was a humanoid who served in the Rebel Four, an Alliance to Restore the Republic team led by the IG-series droid F4-MF that also included Soo Rcharrz and Grimgrim.[2] By 0 BBY,[1] during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance and the Galactic Empire, the team travelled to the stone ruins on[2] Outer Rim[3] planet Vatleria after an informant reported to them that the Empire was establishing a base there. On Vatleria, F4-MF confirmed the presence of Imperial stormtroopers and united the team into a huddle.[2]

The droid declared that nothing would stop the Rebel Four and led the team to charge in, loudly announcing that it was "Rebellin' time." Onn flew into the base with a jetpack and fired on the stormtroopers with a pair of blaster pistols. Within the base, the attack was observed by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who activated ropes that pulled the Rebel Four into death chambers that killed each of them grusomely. Onn's fate was to be burned to death. Vader afterward expressed disappointment at how easily the team had been defeated.[2]

Personality and traits

Onn was a brave freedom fighter and willingly followed F4-MF's lead into battle. The bald Rebel had red skin and yellow eyes.[2]

Equipment

Onn wore a gloveless Rebel pilot's flight suit with brown boots. In combat, the humanoid used a jetpack and a pair of blaster pistols.[2]

Behind the scenes

Falaem Onn appeared in the non-canon comic story "The Rebel Four," written and illustrated by Jay Stephens and published in the ninth issue of the anthology series Star Wars Tales[2] by Dark Horse Comics on October 10, 2001.[4] The character's name[2] resembles the catchphrase "Flame on," used by the Fantastic Four superhero Human Torch.[5] Onn's fate of being burned to death[2] additionally bears similarity to the Human Torch's fire-based powers.[5]
