During the Imperial Era, the Galactic Empire's Third Fleet led by Grand Admiral Balanhai Savit launched an anti-piracy campaign in the Esaga sector. The pirates were, in fact, hired by Savit himself, to steal components from Project Stardust for his own use.[2]
