- "«It's a trap. […] They want us out there.»
«Father, please…»
«You could stop this. It's not too late.»
«People need to be heard.»
«They've been begging us to fight!»
«We can't stay silent any longer.»
«Silent? We'll be silent when we're dead!»" - ―Carro and Enza Rylanz
Enza Rylanz was a human female who resided on the planet Ghorman's capital city of Palmo during the Imperial Era. She was the daughter of politician and businessman Carro Rylanz[5] and by 3 BBY,[8] was a member of her father's emerging rebel group known as the Ghorman Front.[5] She and her father were members of the Twillery House of Rylanz, which had been in their family for nineteen generations.[1]
In 3 BBY, after the Ghorman Front secretly placed a listening device in Division Chief Syril Karn's office, Enza and her fellow rebels listened to his conversations with his mother. When he father later listened to the recordings, they came to the conclusion that Syril was conflicted on the Empire's presence, unaware that Karn was acting under orders of the Imperial Security Bureau to infiltrate the Front.[5]
Enza was later present at a public meeting where the city councilors, her father included, listened to citizen complaints over the alleged Imperial armory being constructed and the Empire's choking of Ghorman's economy. She, among other Front members, observed Karn, who was invited to the meeting by Samm. After the meeting was over, Enza introduced Karn to her father and observed as Carro tried to court Karn as a sympathizer.[5]
Sometime later, Enza and her boyfriend Dilan continued to monitor Karn's office when a surprise ISB inspection forced their inside agent, Leeza, to signal them to cut the line to keep the bug from being traced. Later, she and Dilan showed her father a dossier on Karn they acquired, revealing that he previously worked for Pre-Mor Authority Security Forces as an officer on Morlana One, but was disgraced by the ISB after a disasterous mission. Believing Karn to be a potential ally, Enza and Carro approached him while he was walking home, claiming to have been worried about him when the ISB invaded his office. With Karn visibly upset, Carro suggested that the ISB was operating a shadow government without Emperor Palpatine's knowledge and asked him to provide information on what cargo the carriers moving through Palmo were carrying.[1]
During the Ghorman Massacre, Dilan[4] was wounded by the Imperial forces. In retaliation, Enza continued to fire her blaster. However, moments later, Enza was killed by a KX-series security droid, who threw her across Palmo Plaza, causing her to perish from the impact.[7]
Personality and traits
While Enza was diligent and detail-minded, she and her boyfriend Dilan grew increasingly impatient and willing to take risks to ensure Ghorman had a future free of the Galactic Empire.[4]
