The Bureau of Standards Ghorman field office was an office of the Imperial Bureau of Standards tasked with the standardization of local production on Ghorman which included ghorlectipod-related inventories and audits. In 3 BBY, the office was a recent addition to an Imperial office complex near the Palmo Plaza in the planet's capital city of Palmo.[2] During this year the Ghorman Front placed a listening device in the Division Chief office where they listened to Syril Karn.[1] Later that year the Imperial Security Bureau searched the office for listening devices during which they found the one planted by the Ghorman Front, however Leeza, an operative for the Front working in the office, was able to warn the group which deactivated the connection preventing the ISB from tracing the device.[3]

The field office appeared in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in the series's fourth episode, "Ever Been to Ghorman?," which was released on Disney+[1] on April 29, 2025.[4]
