- "Welcome to the House of Rylanz."
- ―Enza Rylanz to Cassian Andor
The House of Rylanz was a twillery located in Palmo, the capital city of Ghorman. The store was sold the fabric known as Ghorman twill made from Ghorman silk.[2] In 3 BBY,[3] the twillery was run by Carro Rylanz and had been in his family for nineteen generations. It was one of the youngest twilleries in Palmo. The webberie estates that supplied the House of Rylanz were quite far away from the capital.[1]
During this year, Cassian Andor visited the twillery's show room under the alias Varian Skye, a Coruscanti fashion designer making his first pilgrimage to Ghorman to see the fabrics crafted at the House of Rylanz. In reality Andor was there to meet with Carro and evaluate the Ghorman Front, a the local rebel cell run by Rylanz. Due to the competitive nature of twilleries the House of Rylanz was able to sweep for listening devices daily without raising suspicion. This allowed Andor and Carro to discuss the Front's rebel plans.[1]
