For other uses, see Durga.

Durga was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] located in the Durga system within the Marzoon sector of the Mid Rim Territories. It was situated in grid square I-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] During the High Republic Era, Durga was ruled by a royal family.[2]

Between around 170 BBY and around 160 BBY,[3] the Mirialan Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh visited Durga during her travels as a Jedi Wayseeker, meeting the royal family and mediating a wedding contract.[2] Around 160 BBY,[3] Rwoh returned to the Jedi Temple on[2] the Core Worlds planet[4] Coruscant and recounted her travels as a Wayseeker to other members of the Jedi Order, including her time on Durga. As she spoke, the Jedi Master did impressions of the individuals involved with the wedding contract, which Jedi Knight Indara mentally noted had a good number of the Jedi present laughing.[2]

Behind the scenes

Durga was mentioned in The Acolyte: Wayseeker, a 2025 novel written by Justina Ireland.[2]
