Dornean Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate,[1] or simply Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate,[2] was a starship manufacturer that notably produced the Braha'tok-class gunship,[1] a gunship class designed by the Dornean[3] species and used to protect their homeworld of[4] Dornea[1] against the Galactic Empire. The gunships were designed as dedicated anti-starfighter platforms, armed with eight double turbolasers and eight concussion missile launchers. A number of Braha'toks also came to serve the Rebel Alliance during its war against the Empire,[4] with another serving under a pirate captain who used the gunship to raid Outer Rim shipping lanes.[3]

In 4 ABY,[5] rebel Admiral Gial Ackbar made a report to the Alliance's Commander-in-Chief Mon Mothma that detailed the main composition of the Alliance fleet. The Braha'tok-class gunship was listed, with the Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate being acknowledged as the vessel's manufacturer. The report was soon compiled by archivist Hendri Underholt in his archive of non-electric documents The Rebel Files.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Dornean Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2017 boxset and reference book Star Wars: The Rebel Files, written by Daniel Wallace.[1] Its shortened name, Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate, was given by the 2019 reference book Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition.[2] In Star Wars Legends continuity, its sole mention was in the Databank entry for the Braha'tok-class gunship on StarWars.com, which was implemented as user Ello137's[6] winning entry for What's The Story?, a contest on the website's Hyperspace feature, on August 31, 2006.[7]
