"Ancient marauders tore the planet up…but the forest got the last laugh. Those ships have been there for centuries."
―An Ortolan bartender[1]

Dol'har Hyde was a forest planet situated in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During the High Republic Era, a cell of the Nihil marauder organization that was led by Krix Kamerat was based on Dol'har Hyde.[4] The site of a battle[5] centuries before the Imperial Era that involved the Nihil, the planet became strewn with the wreckage of starships. Despite the damage that had been done to the planet, its forests grew back around the wreckage.[1]

The smuggler[5] Remy acquired a Nihil Path engine from the remains of a marauder vessel, selling it to Beol De'Rruyet on Corellia. While investigating the Path engine and its history, the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Aphra traveled to Dol'har Hyde with the smuggler Sana Starros, where they climbed the large tree that had swallowed the wreckage.[1]

Behind the scenes

Dol'har Hyde was first depicted in the seventh issue of the Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic series, written by Alyssa Wong, penciled by Minkyu Jung, and published by Marvel Comics[5] on January 20, 2021.[6] After seeing the planet and its history of Nihil activity, Daniel José Older later texted Wong to ask if he could use the setting,[7] which he included in the eighth issue of Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures, illustrated by Toni Bruno and published by IDW Publishing[4] on September 1, 2021.[8]
