Strono Tuggs mentioned Dhandu in his cookbook.

In 10 BBY,[5] Mahjo Reeloo, a clone created by Kaminoan scientist Kolac Pru, hired the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca to take her to Dhandu's third moon, where she recovered a security key for a deposit box in the Undervaults of Gwongdeen.[3] In 34 ABY,[6] Eloc Throno, a historian and author, included a map with the location of Dhandu in his Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a book that detailed the planet Batuu.[4]

During a culinary tour of the galaxy that he took[7] between 34 ABY and 35 ABY.[8] the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs visited Dhandu 3. In Tuggs' third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which was published[7] in 35 ABY,[8] he mentioned Dhandu while expounding on his travels to Dhandu 3 when documenting his recipe for the Dhanduese Drums dish.[7]

  6. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu establishes that at the time of the book's setting the Resistance was based on Batuu. Star Wars: Timelines dates both the establishment of the Batuu Resistance base and its eventual relocation to Ajan Kloss to 34 ABY. Therefore, the in-universe guide must have been authored that year.

  8. 8.0 8.1 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook establishes that the publishing of the in-universe The Ultimate Cookbook and the culinary tour that preceded it occurred following the publishing of The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook and prior to the destruction of Kijimi. It also establishes that The Ultimate Cookbook was published following the Festival of the Ancestors that occurred during that time period. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook further establishes that The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook was published concurrently with the First Order's search for the Resistance base on Batuu, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 34 ABY. In addition, Timelines dates the Festival of the Ancestors and the destruction of Kijimi to 35 ABY, meaning the tour must have taken place between 34 ABY and 35 ABY and The Ultimate Cookbook must have been published in 35 ABY.
