The Dagobah Limited set is the third full expansion set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, a card game based on the Star Wars universe. It consists of 180 cards (90 Dark Side and 90 Light Side cards) and was introduced in 1997. This set consists of 80 rare, 50 uncommon, and 50 common cards. This set introduced many of the classic characters from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back that were involved with the events occurring on Dagobah, including Jedi tests. This set also introduced bounty hunters and the Executor to game play.
Because this is an expansion set, it bears an expansion-set symbol, which is located near the top right corner of the card to the right of the lore and below the destiny number. The symbol for this set is Yoda's green eye.
Release
This set was sold in 9-card expansion packs and 60-pack expansion boxes. Each pack included one rare card, three uncommon cards, and five common cards. Starter decks were never produced for this set. The set went out of print in December of 1999 when the Dagobah Revised Unlimited set came out (an almost identical set with some minor revisions to game text and with white borders instead of black).
Continuity
This set was the original source for the names of many characters from Episode V, primarily officers and crew of the Executor. These included Venka, Nemet, Hurdiss, Bachenkall, Ardan and Suba. Imperial corporals Derdram and Vandolay are identified as members of the Executor's crew, but their images actually come from scenes onboard the Star Destroyer Avenger. The character of Gherant is named in the set though his photo comes from Return of the Jedi, which is the only film he actually appears in.
