The Da-Vlunn system was situated in the Hutt Space portion of[2] the Slice[1] in grid square R-11 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[3] The hyperspace route known as the Ootmian Pabol[4] connected it to the Kwenn and Y'Toub systems.[2] The Da-Vlunn system was home to[6] the sentient Da-Vlunnian[5] species.[5][7]
Behind the scenes
The Da-Vlunn system was first mentioned in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide on a galaxy map authored by Jason Fry and Christopher Ibbitt.[2] The October 14, 2025 update to[8] "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[3] on June 24 of the same year—with both works being authored by Fry[9]—subsequently identified the system by name.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the the Da-Vlunn system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Da-Vlunnian species.
