Cream tea was a type of tea that was potable to humans. It could be served cold and made with cream.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] the Nihil Minister of Information Ghirra Starros visited a café in a central area of the planet Coruscant, drinking a cold, crystal glass of the tea. She mentally reflected that the idyllic location was ideal for her to seem carefree while enjoying her beverage, therefore representing the Nihil's image better. However, after receiving a call from the Nihil's leader—Marchion Ro—not long afterward, she left the establishment.[1]
Behind the scenes
Cream tea appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon and its events span a few months, it must be set in 228 BBY.
