Council 436 was a farming settlement on the agricultural world Mina-Rau. Following the Ferrix uprising in 5 BBY Bix Caleen, Cassian Andor, B2EMO, Wilmon Paak and Brasso all relocated to Council 436.

Description

Located on the planet Mina-Rau,[2] the settlement consisted of homes built into the side of an earthen mound several stories high. The numberals "436" were written large in Aurebesh on the side of the mound, which was surrounded by flatland filled with fields of grain as well as several buildings at the base. The surrounding fields included irrigation towers and mega silos. The settlement also made use of mobil-haus shetlers to house mechanics.[1]

History

By 4 BBY, a human named Kellen operated a general store at 436 with his wife, Aneth and daughter Beela.[3] Bix Caleen, Cassian Andor, B2EMO, Wilmon Paak and Brasso made a life for themselves at 436[1] after being apart of an uprising against the Galactic Empire on their home planet of Ferrix.[4] In 4 BBY, the Empire began an Imperial Supply Census on Mina-Rau, eventually making their way to Council 436. A brief skirmish bewteen the Ferrix group and members of the Empire resulted in damage to a mega silo and the death of Brasso and a number of imperials. Following the skirmish, Caleen, Andor and Paak fled the planet,[1] however Caleen later returned to raise her child by 1 BBY.[5]
