A mobil-haus was a type of spacious shelter that could both comfortably house a large number of individuals and be quickly packed up and moved.[1] A mobil-haus consisted of four pop out bedroom units on wheels connected to a central hub. The central hub included space for a common area and kitchen. A fifth fixed protrusion from the central hub include a cockpit and communication setup. The shelters were utilized to on the agricultural farm world Mina-Rau[2] by mechanics.[1]
In 4 BBY, Bix Caleen, Cassian Andor, B2EMO, Wilmon Paak, Brasso, and Talia shared a mobil-haus while they lived and worked on Mina-Rau.[2]
Behind the scenes
A mobil-haus appeared in the second season of the Disney+ live-action series Star Wars: Andor which was released on April 22, 2025.[2] An entry identifying the shelter was added to the Star Wars Databank site on the same day.[1] It was built as a full interior and exterior set for the show.[3]
