Belo Roovin was a Pantoran who worked as a armorer and owned Belo Pawn Spot in the city of Mirogana on the moon Toshara in 3 ABY. That year, Roovin sold an ion casing to the thief Kay Vess.

History

Belo Roovin was a Pantoran armorer and merchant who resided on the Outer Rim moon Toshara^[1] in 3 ABY. That year,^[2] He owned and operated Belo Pawn Spot in the pyke market section of the city Mirogana on Toshara. He was pictured on advertisements for the pawn shop that were placed around the city including at the Mirogana Spaceport and near Makal's Gambling Parlor.^[1] That same year,^[2] the pawn shops inventory included actuating modules, ray accelerators, cryo-coils, MG-2 power exceeders and at least one ion casing. He offered discounts and exclusive stock which included at least one blaster recirculator to members of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate and its allies. He was also a contract for the Mon Calamari information broker Danka Orsato.^[1]

In 3 ABY,^[2] the Orsato contacted Roovin and informed him that Kay Vess, a thief Orsato was hiring for a job, would arrived at the shop to acquire the parts to modify her blaster. When Vess arrived at the pawn shop and informed Roovin of who she was, Roovin allowed her to take a ion casing for free. After which Vess ask Roovin if he had ion energy converters for her blaster, to which Roovin informed her that they were illegal on Toshara and that only criminal syndicates had access to them.^[1]

Later that same year^[2] Vess purchased a blaster recirculator from Roovin for 1350 credits which she used it to further upgrade her VM-19 heavy blaster pistol.^[1]

Personality and traits

Roovin had blue skin, blue eyes, brown hair and had a short beard in 3 ABY. He had yellow facial tattoos consisting of three stacked horizontal lines on each check, two angled lines between their eyes and two angled lines below their mouth.^[1]

He spoke Galactic Basic with an accent.^[1]

Equipment

While working in Mirogana, Roovin wore a black jacket over a dark red shirt, brown pants, a black scarf and a brown waist sash with an attached pouch.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Belo Roovin appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. Prior to the game's release on August 30, he was pictured in the game's "Behind The Scenes – Navigating the Underworld" trailer that was released on June 25, 2024. In the game, Roovin was part of the "New Trick" main quest which is required to complete the game.^[1]
