A bar-fish gelatin was a type of food edible by Pantorans and Soikans. It was served at the boarding house of the Theelin Lady Jara in the town Ferdan on the Outer Rim planet Dalna.[1]
In 382 BBY,[2] while undertaking a mission on Dalna, the Soikan Jedi Master Zallah Macri and her Padawan—the Pantoran Kevmo Zink—ate a bar-fish gelatin at the boarding house with thin white gravy. During their meal, the Evereni Path of the Open Hand cult member Marda Ro arrived to invite Zink to the Path compound, with Ro mentally noting that the two Jedi's bar-fish gelatin was gleaming.[1]
Behind the scenes
A bar-fish gelatin appeared in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Deceit, written by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[3] Within the novel, bar-fish gelatin appeared in a chapter written by Gratton.[4]
