Bab, commonly known as "Old Bab", was a Sullustan pirate who served as the Quartermaster for the Rokana Raiders pirate group in 3 ABY.
Biography
Raiding with the Raiders
Old Bab was a Sullustan who had joined the Rokana Raiders pirate group[1] by 3 ABY.[2] During that year, she served as the quartermaster of the pirate group while it was based at the Khepi Tomb in the Sayma Nebula and their leader, Stinger Tash searched for the rumored treasure of the Khepi within the tomb. After the crew had spent a significant time at based at the tomb with no treasure to be seen many of the crew were on verge of mutiny. A fact that Bab mentioned to Reess Passik, a former member of the pirate group, over an encrypted channel. Also during the conversation Passik, who was working as a contract broker for the Miyuki Trade League, advised that Bab find out if the treasure was even real and if it wasn't that she should walk away from the crew. Bab replied that she was too old for that. Before they could continue their conversation Passik received guests and Bab deactivated the communication.[1]
No Vote sentence
Sometime later Tash threw Bab in the brig after catching Bab in her room and did so without a vote as required by the raider's Rokana Code. Tash's actions convinced Bab who had known her since Tash was knee high to an astromech that she was hiding sometime. After spending her third night in the brig Bab wrote in her diary that during the nights in the cell she could hear sounds coming from underneath the rock. She wondered in the diary entry if it could be the nebula's gravity pulling the tomb apart or if some of the other members of the crew were right about the tomb having guardian droids. Bab later saw Kay Vess outside her cell. Vess who was disguised as a Rokana raider so she and her companion Hondo Ohnaka could steal the treasure for themselves. After Vess opened the cell door Bab shared her suspicions with Vess, who suggested they tell the other raiders. But Bab suggested that Tash was too crafty and that Vess would need to get to know the crew better to be able to convince them to turn on Tash.[1]
Decision for leadership
Shortly after, Tash successfully broke into the tomb's burial chamber. When Old Bab and several other raiders joined Tash at the chamber, Ohnaka was also there with a piece of the Architect's Scepter, an artifact required to access the treasure. After initially threatening to smash the section to pieces, Ohnaka proceeded to challenged Tash for leadership of the raiders. Vess, still disguise as a raider spoke for Ohnaka before the group put it up for a vote.[1]
While speaking for Ohnaka, Vess had the opportunity to warn of the dangers of the droids and win Old Bab's vote for Hondo. After the vote, disaster struck which resulted in activation of the tomb's sentry droids killing many of the raiders and causing the rest to flee the base.[1]

Old Bab was a Sullustan with tan skin and black eyes.[1]

With each of the outcomes, Old Bab is not shown to have died making their fate currently unknown.[1]
