The Ankura were one of the two major races of the Gungan species, denoted by their shorter bill and haillu, hooded eyes, and stockier build. Despite their close cousin Gungans, the thin, lanky Otolla more well known across the galaxy, Ankurans were nonetheless an older race. The stocky Boss Rugor Nass was a typical Ankura Gungan, perhaps one of the most well known.[1]
