Amfar was a terrestrial astronomical object that possessed beaches.[3] It was located in the Amfar system in the Inner Rim Territories,[1] in grid square O-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid along the hyperspace route[4] known as the Vaathkree Trade Corridor[2] east of Obroa-skai.[4]
During the High Republic Era, the contractors Pikka and Joss Adren intended to go on vacation to Amfar after the construction of the Starlight Beacon space station had concluded. However, the Great Hyperspace Disaster, which occurred shortly after the construction was complete, saw the Adrens volunteer in the rescue effort, and the two were unable to have their planned vacation.[3]
