The Alaspin system was a star system in the Suolriep sector of the Outer Rim Territories and the Slice. It fell within grid square S-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained Alaspin, a location where a faintly poisonous variety of wine was produced.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Alaspin system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[4] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[5]
