Dace Diath

Dace Diath was a Human male and one of many Jedi Knights who trained under Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. He spent the majority of his early life on Tatooine being taught his initial training by his father, the Jedi Master Sidrona Diath. Upon completion of this training, he traveled to Ossus and became an apprentice to Master Vodo. He would eventually be one of the Jedi sent as reinforcements to help Ulic Qel-Droma during the Naddist Uprising on Onderon. He later participated in the Convocation at Mount Meru and fought against the Krath during the Great Sith War.

He was an experienced and talented pilot, and while on Onderon learned to fly one of the Beast Rider's war beasts.

Dace Diath, along with fellow Jedi Qrrrl Toq and Shoaneb Culu, was killed when Aleema Keto used Sith powers to destroy a star in the Cron Drift. He was an ancestor of Jedi Master Nico Diath and Padawan Tae Diath. (Read more…)

Kith Kark

Kith Kark was a Gotal male who served as a Jedi Knight during the days of the Old Republic. He received his training under the Jedi Master Mroon Jassa on the planet of Truuine. During his life before becoming a Jedi Kith was unusually sensitive, even for a Gotal, to the electromagnetic emissions given off by devices; as a result, he preferred to live away from major city centers, choosing instead to live in the wilderness of Antar 4.

Despite some initial troubles with beginning his training, Kith was able to become a successful apprentice of Master Jassa's, excelling in his Jedi lessons. When Mroon Jassa was unexpectedly called away for an indefinite amount of time, Kith traveled to the Jedi library world of Ossus in order to complete his training. He was chosen as one of five Jedi to be sent to Onderon to assist Ulic Qel-Droma during the Freedon Nadd Uprising. During the fight, a Dark side wave of energy ripped down Kith's defenses, allowing fire from a Naddist cannon to hit the Gotal, leaving him mortally wounded. Kith died before seeing the resolution of the Naddist Revolt. (Read more…)

Mandalore the Ultimate

Mandalore the Ultimate, or Te Ani'la Mand'alor in Mando'a, was the leader of the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars and the successor of Mandalore the Indomitable. The last known Taung to claim the Mandalore title, he regrouped the Mandalorian forces into the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, and slowly they began to conquer fringe worlds which had been left defenseless in the wake of the Great Sith War. Mandalore took full advantage of the Republic's halfhearted efforts to oppose his aggression, and as a result, he led his forces as they poured into Republic territory. Under his command, the Neo-Crusaders nearly defeated the Galactic Republic during the Mandalorian Wars, and it was only through the leadership of the Jedi Knights Revan and Malak that the tide of the war was ultimately turned against Mandalore.

Revan managed to eventually draw Mand'alor into a direct fight on the planet of Malachor V, where the Mandalorian warrior was defeated in hand-to-hand combat by the Jedi Knight. (Read more…)

Battle of Coruscant (Great Hyperspace War)

The Battle of Coruscant during the Great Hyperspace War was the first battle between the Galactic Republic and Naga Sadow's Sith Empire. The Republic forces, led by Memit Nadill and his team of Jedi, emerged victorious, after realizing that much of Sadow's forces were illusionary. The battle took place in 5000 BBY, corresponding with battles on Koros Major and Kirrek, in a war known as the Great Hyperspace War. (Read more…)

Cha'a

Cha'a were a small orange-scaled reptilian species, known for their cunning natures. They were part of galactic society for many thousands of years. One of the most famous Cha'a was the Merchant Lord Ssk Kahorr, who lived during the Great Hyperspace War. Other notable Cha'a included three Jedi students who trained alongside Jacen and Jaina Solo. Cannok

Cannoks were small, aggressive predators native to the moon of Dxun. They were relatively harmless to groups of Humans, but they had a habit of eating anything that could fit in their mouths, which were quite large for an animal of its size. They were known as pests, due to their high reproduction rate and curiosity. They were also hardy, able to survive the rough environment of the forest moon of Dxun, and hold their own in large groups. Probably for this reason, a handful of cannok specimens were transported to Telos by the Ithorians of Citadel Station during the years following the Jedi Civil War to assist in the Telosian Restoration Project. Battle of Koros Major

The First Battle of Empress Teta, also known as the Battle of Koros Major, was one of the first direct major Republic military offensives against the Krath during the Great Sith War. The last of the seven worlds of the Empress Teta system to resist the military coup instigated by Aleema and Satal Keto, Koros Major held off the aggressive actions of the Krath long enough for a combined Republic and Jedi task force to come to its aid. Nevertheless, even with the intervention of Jedi and Republic forces, the Krath were able to drive the joint task force from the system and lay siege to Koros Major. With the Republic and Jedi forced to retreat, Koros Major soon fell to the combined strength of the Krath armies.

The First Battle of Empress Teta is often seen as one of several events which precipitated the Krath Holy Crusade, which was a part of the larger war against the rise of the Sith. (Read more…)

Battle of Deneba

The Battle of Deneba was one of the earliest known Krath offensives of the Great Sith War. On the world of Deneba, the Krath leader Satal Keto remotely launched a massive army of war droids against the Jedi assembly, which had gathered on Mount Meru to discuss the rising threat of the Krath in the Empress Teta system. The Krath war droids initially caught the convocation unprepared, but the Jedi were able to mount an organized defense and stop the war droids' advance. During the battle, Jedi Master Arca Jeth, who was famous for his role in ending the Great Droid Revolution, Beast Wars, and Freedon Nadd Uprising, was slain while protecting his onetime student, the Jedi Knight Ulic Qel-Droma. Nazzar

Nazzar were a sentient humanoid bipedal species native to the Mid Rim planet of Nazzri. With equine faces and powerfully built bodies, the species had a history of contemplation and philosophy. They were mildly xenophobic, and were rarely found off their temperate homeworld; the only offworld Nazzar were outcasts. One of the most famous Nazzar was the Jedi Qrrrl Toq, who fought and died in the Great Sith War, around four thousand years before the Battle of Yavin.

Noble and spiritual creatures, the Nazzar joined the Galactic Republic early in its history. They followed the Ulizra, a strict Nazzar religion, which stated that outsiders were likely to taint Nazzar culture, and that the group was always better than the individual. (Read more…)

Second Battle of Empress Teta

The Second Battle of Empress Teta was a brief conflict that occurred during the Great Sith War. The battle took place almost immediately after another mission in which the Jedi Knights Nomi Sunrider, Cay Qel-Droma, and Tott Doneeta attempted to make contact with the undercover Ulic Qel-Droma, who they believed was posing as a Krath sympathizer. Following this attempt to contact Ulic, during which the Jedi realized that he was dangerously close to falling to the dark side, Sunrider organized a second effort aimed at extracting Ulic, if possible, from the Krath capital.

With the Beast Riders of Oron Kira, the Jedi led an attack on the Krath palace where Qel-Droma was staying. Even though the attack was successful at penetrating the Krath defenses, Qel-Droma refused to return to Ossus with Sunrider and the other Jedi, choosing instead to stay with Aleema Keto and the Krath. Following the Jedi retreat from Cinnagar, Exar Kun arrived at the Krath palace to confront those whom he viewed as a threat to his Sith rule. Following a brief confrontation, the two ex-Jedi decided to join forces, and together, wage war on the galaxy. (Read more…)

Battle of Foerost (Great Sith War)

The Battle of Foerost was fought in 3996 BBY during the Great Sith War, involving the Krath forces of Sith Lord Ulic Qel-Droma and the troops of Mandalore the Indomitable. Qel-Droma coveted the many ships under construction for the Galactic Republic for use in his Krath Holy Crusade, and employed his lover and Tetan elite, Aleema Keto, to create an illusion, allowing the forces to slip into the shipyards unchallenged. Once inside, the illusion was dropped, and the Krath forces, bolstered by the armies of Mandalore, stormed the facilities, managing to secure the operational codes to the newly-completed vessels. Fleet Captain Vanicus was dispatched to try and interrupt the raid with a force of Republic reinforcements, but was too late to stop the theft of over three hundred warships. However, a recording of Qel-Droma from the attack was discovered, finally leaking the secret identity of the Republic's new enemy. (Read more…)

Mission to Empress Teta

The Mission to Empress Teta was a Jedi operation conducted in the year 3997 BBY, several months after the Battle of Deneba. Following the death of Jedi Master Arca Jeth at that battle, Ulic Qel-Droma chose to go ahead with his proposed plan to infiltrate the Krath and bring them down from within. After several months without receiving any word from the undercover Ulic, Nomi Sunrider, Cay Qel-Droma, and Tott Doneeta organized themselves into a strike force and set out from Ossus for the undercover Jedi's last reported location—Empress Teta, the capital of the Krath regime. The three Jedi were eventually able to locate the undercover Qel-Droma, and what followed was a short, but violent, clash between Ulic Qel-Droma and Satal Keto, who had discovered the spy in the Krath's midst. Following the end of the duel, which witnessed the death of Keto, Ulic attacked his friends who wished him to come with them back to Ossus. Believing that he could still destroy the Krath, and ultimately the Sith, from within, Ulic Qel-Droma continued to walk down the dark path that was laid out before him. (Read more…)

Duel on Kuar

The Battle of Kuar occurred during the Great Sith War, in the months following the alliance between Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma. Attempting to begin a new crusade in 3996 BBY, the Mandalorian clans commanded by Mandalore the Indomitable believed that they would be able to gain control over the Empress Teta system while the Krath forces' attention was focused elsewhere.

Using several small raids to test the strength of the Krath, Mandalore eventually caught the attention of Ulic Qel-Droma by destroying an important carbonite smelting station in the Empress Teta system. Wanting to crush the threat that the Mandalorians presented as soon as possible, Qel-Droma agreed to a challenge of one-on-one combat extended by Mandalore. The battle, he explained, would be fought between Qel-Droma and himself, and the victor would receive full command over their foes' forces, as well as the seven worlds of Empress Teta. Qel-Droma managed to best Mandalore during the course of the fight, but refused to kill his defeated enemy. Having experienced the fighting ability of Mandalore firsthand, Qel-Droma believed that Mandalore was of more use to him alive. Seeing that his reputation had been preserved, Mandalore pledged his life, honor, and troops to Qel-Droma's cause. (Read more…)

Aleema Keto

Aleema Keto was the daughter of Lady Magda Keto and niece of the elder Lord Keto, as well as the cousin of Satal Keto. She and Satal co-founded the Krath, a secret dark side society, and together succeeded in overthrowing the Tetan Monarchy just prior to the Great Sith War. As co-rulers of the Empress Teta system, Aleema and her cousin instigated the conflict known as the Krath Holy Crusade. As she progressed down the path of the dark side, she became a Sith sorceress, gaining proficiency in the arts of Sith magic. After becoming the lover of Ulic Qel-Droma, Aleema joined forces with Dark Lord of the Sith Exar Kun and held position as his senior ally in the Brotherhood of the Sith. She was later killed by her own actions when she caused the destruction of the Cron Cluster during the Battle of Kemplex IX, having been tricked into the affair by both Kun and Qel-Droma. The Second Battle of Onderon took place during the Freedon Nadd Uprising, being the second battle of that specific conflict, in the year 3998 BBY. The offensive was proposed by the Tchuukthai Jedi Master Thon, who attended the Galactic Senate's Ministry of Defense hearing called to discuss the growing Onderonian threat. The battle commenced just as Tetan aristocrats Satal and Aleema Keto arrived on Onderon with the intentions of deciphering an ancient Sith spellbook.

Arriving in Onderonian space under escort of the full Galactic Republic Navy, Jedi General Nomi Sunrider and a team of four other Jedi Knights engaged King Ommin and his Naddist army. The Jedi were ultimately triumphant, managing to rescue the imprisoned Jedi Master Arca Jeth, defeat Ommin's army, and free Onderon of Freedon Nadd's dark influence. Aleema and Satal also escaped Onderon, and armed with their Sith artifacts, became the new Sith apprentices of Freedon Nadd. (Read more…)

Political uprising of Empress Teta system

The Political uprising of the Empress Teta system was a military and political coup that happened in the year 3997 BBY, staged against Lord Keto and Lady Magda Keto, the rulers of Empress Teta. The coup was instigated by Lord Keto's own son, Satal, and Lady Keto's daughter, Aleema, who, as cousins, were also the leaders of a newly established Sith cult known as the Krath. The coup was initiated when Aleema and Satal, led by the royal tutor Korus, boarded the orbital Tetan carbonite smelter where Lord and Lady Keto were attending matters of state. After a heated confrontation with Lord Keto and the subsequent humiliation of tutor Korus, Aleema and Satal reintroduced themselves as the Krath—dark side magicians under the tutelage of the ancient Dark Lord Freedon Nadd. The Krath then declared themselves the new rulers of the Empress Teta system and proceeded to execute all the present Tetan officials, including Lady Keto. Lord Keto himself was slowly dipped into the vat of molten carbonite by Satal, to further symbolize the end of the old regime. What emerged was a freshly-molded carbonite frieze of Lord Keto, which Satal visibly displayed on one of the walls of their newly inherited palace, the Iron Citadel.

After solidifying the military and political might of the seven worlds of the Empress Teta system, the Krath were prepared to face the Jedi Order; who themselves recognized the Krath's Sith powers to be the remnants of an uprising that was recently quelled on the planet Onderon. Their chance came when the Jedi, again supported by the Galactic Republic, arrived in Tetan space with intentions of restoring a legitimate government. The Jedi were unprepared for the depth of the Krath's Sith powers; they were repelled and forced to leave the Tetan worlds under the heel of dark side. (Read more…)

Conclave at Deneba

The Conclave on Deneba was a Jedi convocation during the Krath Holy Crusade of the Great Sith War, held on the planet Deneba in 3997 BBY. The gathering of Jedi was called in response to the growing threat of the dark side that was previously thought to have been eliminated on Onderon. Nearly ten-thousand in number, the Jedi gathered in an amphitheater in the valley at the foot of Deneba's Mount Meru. Multiple Jedi spoke at the event, including Ulic Qel-Droma who brought forward the controversial idea of infiltration of the enemy through the inside.

The conclave would come to an abrupt end when a surprise attack, initiated by the Sith-inspired Krath, interrupted the assembly with a bombardment of life-pods containing deadly war droids. The ensuing battle would result in the deaths of many Jedi, including the Arkanian Jedi Master Arca Jeth, as well as further influencing Ulic's choice of infiltration. In spite of the numerous warnings against such action, Ulic indeed pursued the Krath, to their home of Koros Major. (Read more…)

Second Duel in the Iron Citadel

The Second Duel in the Iron Citadel was a lightsaber duel that occurred later in the year 3997 BBY, between two fallen Jedi: the power-thirsty Exar Kun and the headstrong Ulic Qel-Droma. The duel took place in the Tetan capital city of Cinnagar, in the Iron Citadel of the Krath.

After Qel-Droma engaged and killed the Krath leader Satal Keto, he was given an ancient Sith amulet by Satal's cousin Aleema, and also taken as Aleema's joint partner in leadership of the Krath. Unbeknownst to them, the Dark Jedi named Exar Kun had learned of their existence from the spirit of Freedon Nadd, an ancient Dark Lord of the Sith, who had also given Kun an amulet for himself. Seeing the Krath as a potential hindrance to his vision of a new Sith Empire, Kun traveled to Empress Teta and touched down in the planet's capital city of Cinnagar. Guided by the Force to their location, Kun stormed the Iron Citadel and confronted Qel-Droma.

What followed was a brief but heated duel, with neither combatant able to best the other. As they battled, however, the amulets in each man's possession recognized one another, and began to resonate with dark side energies. The energies in turn summoned the spirit of an even more ancient Dark Lord named Marka Ragnos, who ended the duel, and after a brief proclamation, bestowed Kun with the title of Dark Lord of the Sith, and named Qel-Droma his foremost Sith apprentice. Iziz defense tower

The defense towers of Iziz were a series of battlestations that were designed to protect the walled city of Iziz, the capital and only settlement on the Inner Rim world of Onderon. The towers were armed with ranged energy weapons, such as turbolasers and ion cannons, that were capable of repelling both land-based and aerial assaults.

The network of defense towers saw action in 4000 BBY, during the Battle of Iziz, where they were employed against the Beast Riders from Onderon's wilderness. These emplacements were subsequently destroyed, when Iziz was virtually leveled after the battle. However, they would be replaced some fifty years later by a network of air defense towers. The new defensive network would see action during the Onderon Civil War, when the Jedi Exile returned to that world to help Queen Talia fend off the Sith-backed coup d'etat staged by her cousin, General Vaklu. Jev Sunrider

Jev Sunrider was a Human male who served as a Jedi Master and Watchman of the Darada system in the decades leading up to the Great Sith War. In the year 4009 BBY, Sunrider left his family's home on Darada and, along with three other Jedi Masters, set out for the nearby system of Krayiss Two; this mission would ultimately end in the deaths of all four Jedi at the hands of an unknown dark side force. His Force ghost later appeared to his grandson, Andur, in which Jev told him that he would play an important role in the coming war. (Read more…)

Kurt

Kurt was a Human male native to the Inner Rim Territories world of Onderon. A member of the Beast Riders of Onderon's wilderness, Kurt was the flight leader of several squads, or "wings," of drexl-mounted warriors in the Beast Rider army.

Under the command of the superior officer Gobee, Kurt saw action during the final battle of Onderon's centuries-long civil conflict, between his Beast Rider kin and the city-dwellers of Iziz, Onderon's only civilized metropolis. He assisted Gobee by eliminating Iziz's perimeter defenses, and then suppressing the turbolaser bombardment originating from the rooftop of the Iziz Royal Palace. Kurt's actions led to the capture of the city as well as the subsequent defeat of the Iziz forces. (Read more…)

First Duel in the Iron Citadel

Of the two contests of strength that happened there, the First Duel in the Iron Citadel occurred earlier in the year 3997 BBY, between the grief-stricken Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma, and Emperor Satal Keto, co-leader of the Krath and ruler of the Empress Teta system. The duel took place on the namesake planet of Empress Teta, in the capital city of Cinnagar, on the balcony of the Krath's stronghold: the Iron Citadel. The duel commenced shortly after a weapons display by Ulic Qel-Droma, who, as a secret agent of the Jedi, was attempting to infiltrate the dark side-following Krath cult from within.

While Qel-Droma was explaining to Tetan officials new technological upgrades he had made to their planetary defenses, he was interrupted by Satal Keto, who had just received word of a female Jedi captured in the streets of Cinnagar. Accusing Qel-Droma of being a spy, Keto had the woman brought before them; Qel-Droma immediately recognized her as his former lover, Nomi Sunrider, but unwilling to prematurely expose his deception to the Krath, Qel-Droma agreed to have her imprisoned pending execution. However, Qel-Droma had sent a secret message to Sunrider, explaining his need for more time to complete his mission. The message was never received by her; instead, it was intercepted by Satal Keto, who, in the face of Qel-Droma's newly exposed treachery, ordered him to be assassinated at once. The attempt failed, but succeeded in enraging Qel-Droma, who set off immediately in search of Lord Keto.

Meanwhile, Sunrider had managed to escape her holdings, and had also called her colleagues for an extraction in light of the deteriorating situation. Help came in the form of Qel-Droma's brother Cay, and the Twi'lek Jedi Tott Doneeta. They were preparing to depart without Qel-Droma, just as Lord Keto encountered them from a balcony of the Iron Citadel. To everyone's surprise, Qel-Droma also appeared on the balcony, confronting the Krath warlord and engaging in a duel. It ended with Satal Keto being struck down by Qel-Droma in a fit of rage. With his dying words, Keto expressed his satisfaction in knowing that his death had successfully driven Ulic Qel-Droma to the dark side of the Force. (Read more…)

Quanto

Quanto was a male gangster living in the Stenness star system during the Old Republic era. As a space pirate, Quanto was in the employ of crimelord Bogga the Hutt as one of his enforcers. He often worked under the direction of Bogga's senior enforcer, Gudb, whom Quanto considered a friend. Quanto's feelings of comradery were not reciprocated by Gudb, however, and he was often treated as an underling by Gudb rather than an equal.

In 4000 BBY, Quanto was on the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal when he and Gudb accosted Jedi Knight Andur Sunrider and his family in an attempt to steal the Adegan crystals in their possession. Bearus was a humanoid male who served as chairman of the Carbonite Guild of the Empress Teta star system. Bearus presided over the carbonite smelter that orbited Empress Teta, where he facilitated annual tours of progress that were conducted by Lord and Lady Keto, rulers of the Tetan worlds. Bearus oversaw his last inspection in 3997 BBY, when the children of the Ketos, Aleema and Satal, arrived on station to initiate their political takeover of the Empress Teta system under the guise of their new Sith cult, the Krath. All of the Tetan officials present were killed, and Bearus was among the casualties, having first been overcome by the Krath's Sith magic, and then forced into a vat of molten carbonite. Ktriss served as the Hutt's executioner, and was often seen sitting at her master's side. A creature from Lake Natth on the planet Ambria of the Stenness Node, Ktriss had the primal ability, like all those of her kind, to manipulate the dark side of the Force.

In 4000 BBY, Ktriss demonstrated her killing abilities for Great Bogga, in his court on the moon of Vo Dasha. Pirate captain Finhead Stonebone, and his gang were brought before the Hutt for crimes committed against him. When Stonebone rejected Bogga's initial offer to make recompense, Ktriss was unleashed upon one of Stonebone's crewmates, Roko, and devoured him in the company of his peers. (Read more…)

Korus was a Human male citizen of the Empress Teta system who served as the royal tutor of Satal and Aleema Keto, heirs to the Tetan throne. Continually berated by the young Ketos, Korus acted as a spy for Satal's father, Lord Keto, secretly reporting on the activities of his son and niece. When Korus' eavesdropping was discovered by Satal and Aleema, who had since formed their Krath cult, they used their newfound dark side powers to replace his tongue with an Adegan eel.

In 3997 BBY, a mutilated Korus accompanied the Krath when they stormed the carbonite smelter that orbited Empress Teta, and proclaimed themselves the new rulers of the Tetan worlds. He was then forced to reveal his oral deformity before falling comatose, and was the only Tetan official to survive the ensuing massacre. Korus was later made to serve the Krath, who had also maimed him further by sewing his mouth closed. After an innocent mistake that resulted in the soiling of Aleema's gown, Korus was killed—burned alive with Sith magic. (Read more…)

The Duel on Rhen Var was a lightsaber battle that took place in the year 3986 BBY between the former Sith Lord Ulic Qel-Droma and the Cathar Jedi Knight Sylvar. After tracking the self-exiled Qel-Droma to the ice planet Rhen Var with the help of a spacer named Hoggon, Sylvar confronted him and was determined to make him pay for all the lives lost in the Great Sith War, of which Qel-Droma was a chief instigator during his tenure with Dark Lord Exar Kun's Sith Brotherhood some ten years prior. Qel-Droma—who, while on Rhen Var, had since completed the Jedi training of Vima Sunrider, daughter of his former lover, Nomi—answered the challenge of his accuser, and lightsaber combat ensued. However, he quickly realized that she was allowing her anger to drive her dangerously close to accepting the dark side of the Force, like he had once done. Unwilling to be the instrument of Sylvar's downfall, Qel-Droma deactivated his weapon and refused to fight any longer; Sylvar, a devout Jedi, was unable to attack an unarmed opponent, thus forcing her to disengage him and accept the truth of where her emotions had led her. Ulic Qel-Droma, the object of Sylvar's rage, was the same individual to redeem her and free her of the hatred she held on to for so long.

Though Sylvar's inner peace was finally restored, it was immediately put to the test. Hoggon, who had been watching nearby, became embittered by the Cathar Jedi's sudden change of heart, and mortally wounded Qel-Droma with a shot from his blaster pistol in an attempt to solidify a place for himself in the annals of galactic history. The spacer then promptly departed, after having been spared the wrath of Sylvar, whose recent redemption had kept her from killing him only moments before. Meanwhile, as Ulic Qel-Droma lay dying on a cliff, he declared Nomi's daughter Vima a fully vested Jedi. Hok Daragon was a male Human starship operator during the years leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. He was the husband of Timar Daragon and the father of Gav and Jori Daragon. During the Unification Wars of the Koros system, Daragon worked as a supply runner with his wife in their ship, the Shadow Runner. On one mission to the planet of Kirrek in 5000 BBY during the midst of a battle, the Shadow Runner was destroyed by pirate forces, killing both of the Daragons instantly. After their deaths, the Daragons' other ship, the Starbreaker 12, was bequeathed to Gav and Jori, who would become hyperspace explorers. (Read more…)

Battle of Kirrek (Unification Wars)

The Battle of Kirrek took place in 5000 BBY, during the Unification Wars of the Koros system. Having unified six of the seven planets in the Koros system, the political leader Empress Teta ordered a conquest of the only remaining independent world, Kirrek. However, an advance contingent of Teta's soldiers was besieged by an army of Kirrek rebels and forced to take shelter in a hastily-assembled citadel. After a month, Teta ordered a full-on military assault, led by the Jedi Memit Nadill and Odan-Urr. Using the Force power known as battle meditation, the Jedi were able to lead Teta's forces to victory, and the Koros system was unified. (Read more…)

In 5000 BBY, the Daragons took a mission to the planet Kirrek during a battle to run supplies to Empress Teta's besieged forces on the world. However, the Shadow Runner was destroyed by pirate forces, killing both Hok and Timar Daragon on impact. Horak-mul was a Sith Lord in the years leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. A member of the Sith species, Horak-mul was native to an area of space known as the Sith Empire. After the death of Dark Lord of the Sith Marka Ragnos, Horak-mul sided with one of the contenders for the title, Ludo Kressh. Kressh's main rival was Naga Sadow, a progressive Sith Lord with expansionist ambitions. In 5000 BBY, Sadow staged an attack on the Sith Empire by the Galactic Republic, and used this opportunity to declare himself the new Dark Lord of the Sith. This led to a schism between Sadow and Kressh, with Horak-mul siding with the latter. Sadow then staged another raid, this time leaving evidence that he was actually complicit; upon seeing this evidence, an angered Kressh ordered Horak-mul and a fellow supporter, Dor Gal-ram, to gather their forces to attack Sadow. What ensued was the Battle of Khar Delba, and Horak-mul and his allies were outwitted and defeated by Sadow. Horak-mul, along with Gal-ram, was killed in the battle when Sadow ordered the crew of Horak-mul's flagship to betray and kill him. (Read more…)

Tuknatan was a Jedi Master active during the Great Hyperspace War. He was present at a Galactic Senate session in 5000 BBY, where fellow Jedi Master Memit Nadill and Empress Teta of the Koros system warned of the impending return of the Sith. Nadill and Teta's forebodings came true when the Sith attacked Coruscant with a seemingly unstoppable invasion force. Tuknatan, Nadill, and a group of other Jedi fought valiantly in the battle, but it seemed that they had no chance of victory. However, a large portion of the Sith force suddenly disappeared, revealing that they were mere illusions. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Tuknatan led a charge into the heart of the Sith force, and the Galactic Republic won the Battle of Coruscant. (Read more…)

Gorrm was the assistant and chief navigator for Ssk Kahorr, a merchant lord active in the Koros system in the years leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. In 5000 BBY, one of Kahorr's drone ships, the Zeta Five, was destroyed on a run to the Goluud system after taking a route called the Goluud Corridor. The enraged Kahorr had Gorrm hire assassins to kill the two navigators who had plotted the Goluud Corridor, Gav and Jori Daragon. However, the assassins were fended off by the Jedi Knights Odan-Urr and Memit Nadill. The Daragons escaped the system, but Jori returned later, proclaiming that she had found the long-lost Sith Empire, and that they were planning to attack the Galactic Republic. Kahorr took this opportunity to seize Daragon's ship, the Starbreaker 12, as payment for the destruction of Zeta Five. Kahorr and Gorrm subsequently took the ship for a joyride to test it's controls; however, the ship was destroyed by an incoming Sith fleet, resulting in Gorrm's death. (Read more…)

Shar Dakhan was a Sith Lord active during the years leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. Dakhan ruled over the Sith Space world of Ch'hodos, which served as his primary base of operations. In the year 5000 BBY, Dakhan pledged his fleet to Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow, who at the time was preparing for a war against the Galactic Republic. To celebrate, Dakhan staged a large war rally on Ch'hodos, replete with vast legions of soldiers, warbeasts, and warships. Dakhan's fleet later served in the Sith invasion force in the Great Hyperspace War, with Dakhan himself personally commanding the Sith forces in the attack on the Republic capital of Coruscant. Dakhan's forces were opposed by a numerically inferior group of Jedi and Republic soldiers, but the Sith were defeated. After the defeat in Republic space, Shar Dakhan returned to the Sith Empire with the remaining Sith forces, and participated in the Second battle of Korriban against pursuing Republic forces. Towards the end of the battle, Sadow found himself trapped and fled; Dakhan subsequently took charge of the force, although he would be defeated again. (Read more…)

Llaban was a Human male native of Kirrek, and leader of the rebel forces that fought against Empress Teta's military in the Unification Wars of the Koros system. Llaban's forces clashed with the Tetan military in 5000 BBY in the Battle of Kirrek, and although the rebels were able to besiege the Tetans for over a month, Teta eventually seized victory due to the efforts of Jedi Knights Odan-Urr and Memit Nadill. Later that same year, after the outbreak of the Great Hyperspace War, Llaban was appointed by Teta, due to his desire for amnesty and his effort in the Unification Wars, to lead the fight against the Sith Empire on Kirrek. Although chances of winning against the large Sith force seemed long at first, Llaban and his army fought with resounding success and won the second Battle of Kirrek. (Read more…)

Shadow Runner

The Shadow Runner was the personal starship of husband-and-wife pilots Hok and Timar Daragon. In the year 5000 BBY, the Unification Wars of the Koros system broke out, and the forces of Empress Teta were encircled and besieged by rebels on Kirrek. Seeing an opportunity to make a profit by running supplies to the Tetan soldiers on Kirrek, Hok and Timar Daragon got the Shadow Runner repaired by Aarrba the Hutt on Koros Major and set out for Kirrek. However, by the time the Daragons reached Kirrek the battle had changed; usage of the exotic Force power known as battle meditation by Jedi Memit Nadill and Odan-Urr had released the last reserves of desperation in the rebels, who began firing on the weakest targets in the sky. Encumbered by the weight of the cargo, the Shadow Runner was not able to enter into sufficient evasive action, and the ship was caught in a crossfire and destroyed, killing the Daragons. Battle at Primus Goluud

The Battle of Primus Goluud was waged high above the star Primus Goluud during the Great Hyperspace War in 5000 BBY, between Empress Teta's forces and the Sith Empire of Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow. During the earlier Battle of Koros Major, Sith commander Gav Daragon was confronted by his sister, Jori Daragon, over the death of their acquaintance Aarrba the Hutt. Overcome by emotion, Gav left and traveled to the Goluud system, where Sadow was sequestered in his Sith Meditation Sphere creating Force illusions to aid the Sith war effort. Daragon, wanting to end the violence of the war, fired on the Meditation Sphere, damaging it. However, Sadow requested Daragon to go to the damaged sphere to face him man-to-man, an offer Daragon accepted—only to find he had been tricked and Sadow had trapped him there. Daragon frantically transmitted vital strategic information to Teta's forces from the sphere, hoping to aid in a Galactic Republic victory in the war; the Republic fleet quickly arrived. However, Sadow's forces reappeared in the system soon afterward, led by Sadow's flagship, the Corsair. Laser fire erupted between the two sides, although Sadow had a trick up his sleeve; Sadow used a secret weapon to trigger Primus Goluud's solar flares, destroying the sphere and killing Daragon, though not before the Koros forces were able to escape. Drokko Kira was a Human male, the father of Beast-Lord Modon Kira, grandfather of Oron Kira, and a native of the capital city Iziz on Onderon. Around 4050 BBY, Kira challenged the legacy of the Dark Lord of the Sith Freedon Nadd, who had crowned himself King of Onderon centuries before and taught his descendants the dark side of the Force. For this, Kira was banished from Iziz, sustaining an unhealthy wound in the process. Kira did not speak again for fifty years but eventually joined the Beast Riders, a group of criminals cast out of Iziz who waged a war on the capital. In 4000 BBY, Kira attended the binding ceremony of his grandson, Oron, and Princess Galia, heiress to the Onderonian throne. The ceremony was interrupted by three Jedi—brothers Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma, and the Twi'lek Tott Doneeta—whom Modon enlisted to fight the dark side reign in Iziz. Although Ulic Qel-Droma wanted to lead a peace mission, Drokko Kira, speaking for the first time in years, asked him if he would fight alongside the Beast Riders if the mission failed; Qel-Droma agreed. The peace talks indeed proved unsuccessful and the Beast Riders were victorious in the ensuing Battle of Iziz. (Read more…)

Zeta Five was a Cha'a drone ship owned by Cha'a merchant lord Ssk Kahorr, who used the ship as a freighter. In 5000 BBY, the Zeta Five was sent on a run to deliver supplies and components to a mining colony on Goluud Minor, in the Goluud system. Kahorr chose to send the Zeta Five along the Goluud Corridor, a newly-discovered hyperlane that passed dangerously close to the system's unstable red giant star, Primus Goluud. The Zeta Five reached the Goluud system without incident but arrived to find Primus Goluud in a violent phase of stellar activity. The ship was subsequently destroyed by a massive solar flare, although not before it jettisoned its message pod, which had recorded the events regarding the ship's destruction. (Read more…)

Modon Kira was a Human male native of the planet Onderon and a respected and powerful Beast-Lord during the final years of the war between the Beast Riders and the military of the walled city of Iziz. Modon was the son of Drokko Kira and in turn had a son, Oron Kira, who fell in love with Princess Galia, heiress to the throne of Iziz. The two arranged to be married at Fortress Kira, Modon Kira's forest stronghold, and the Beast-Lord attended their binding ceremony. The union was subsequently interrupted by the entrance of three Jedi Knights—brothers Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma, and the Twi'lek Tott Doneeta—who had been sent by Galia's mother, Queen Amanoa, to retrieve the princess. Instead, Kira convinced the Jedi to join his side, and they embarked on a peace mission to convince Amanoa to end the war.

However, the peace mission failed, and Modon Kira was forced to lead his Beast Rider army against Iziz in a climactic battle. Although the Beast Riders took the upper hand, Queen Amanoa turned the tide of the battle by invoking the power of the dark side against Kira's army. The momentum shifted, and Kira's forces were put on the defensive. The Beast Riders regained the advantage, however, when Jedi Master Arca Jeth arrived and employed his skill with battle meditation, which proved to be the deciding factor. After the battle, Modon's son Oron and Galia were married under the laws of the Galactic Republic, officially unifying the two warring civilizations of Onderon. (Read more…)

Rek was a tall male humanoid gangster who worked as an enforcer for the Hutt crime lord Bogga in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Rek was a member of Bogga's enforcer gang, which operated out of the Stenness Node region of the Inner Rim Territories. In 4000 BBY, a shipment of valuable Adegan crystals, in the possession of Jedi Knight Andur Sunrider, made its way onto the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal. Determined to obtain the jewels, Bogga sent Rek, along with fellow enforcers Quanto and Gudb, to get the crystals. Rek and Quanto created a diversion by knocking over the Jedi's protocol droid, A-3DO. Sunrider, who had brought the crystals to the station, was distracted by the altercation, allowing Gudb to release his pet gorm-worm, Skritch, who fatally bit the Jedi Knight. However, Sunrider's grieving wife, Nomi, took up her fallen husband's lightsaber, surprising Rek. In self-defense, Nomi attacked the three enforcers, slaying Rek as he drew his blaster. (Read more…)

Khar Shian

Khar Shian was the only moon of Khar Delba, a planet located in the Sith Space area of the Outer Rim Territories. An icy, barren moon, Khar Shian was the site of Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow's center of power as well as his palace, while his decoy stronghold was located on Khar Delba. Sadow hid his fortress on the far side of the moon; as the moon never saw sunlight, it was an ideal place for the fortress to be concealed. Sadow also hid his massive war fleet in orbit around the far side.

In 5000 BBY, Khar Delba was attacked by Sadow's rival, Ludo Kressh, and Sadow's citadel on Khar Delba was bombarded from orbit. Sadow had a plan, however; he called his Khar Shian fleet into action, striking at Kressh's flank. This maneuver, along with several other deceptions enacted by Sadow, resulted in a victory for the Dark Lord in the battle of Khar Delba. Afterward, Khar Shian and Khar Delba became the centers of Sith militarization in preparation for an invasion of the Galactic Republic. (Read more…)

The First Battle of Korriban was a skirmish fought in 5000 BBY between the respective war fleets of Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh—former rivals for the title of Dark Lord of the Sith—high above the Sith graveyard world of Korriban. Some time before this engagement, Sadow had defeated Kressh, who was forced to fake his death, leaving Sadow unopposed. Sadow then launched the ultimately unsuccessful Great Hyperspace War against the Galactic Republic in an effort to conquer the galaxy. After his defeat at the Battle at Primus Goluud, Sadow returned to the Sith Empire with the remains of his battered fleet. Sadow's forces were surprised by Kressh and his full battle force over Korriban. Laser fire ensued between the two sides, and many ships from both factions were destroyed. However, Sadow had a plan. He ordered one of his damaged ships to collide with Kressh's flagship. The strategy was successful, and Kressh was killed, instantly ending the battle with a victory for Sadow. (Read more…)

Ronika was a world in the Empress Teta system, which was used as a prison colony around the time of the Great Hyperspace War. Ronika was the eighth planet in the system, and had one moon. First settled around 5000 BBY, the harsh landscape was not conducive to settlement; to prepare the planet for large-scale colonization, Empress Teta, the ruler of the system, used prison labor to terraform Ronika. After the conclusion of the Unification Wars, many members of the rebels of Kirrek were imprisoned on Ronika. Later that year, hyperspace explorer Jori Daragon, convicted of a wide variety of charges, was sent to Ronika. However, intending to warn Teta of the looming Sith threat to invade the Galactic Republic, Daragon stole an ore shuttle and escaped. Daragon's forebodings proved to be true; just days later the Sith attacked the Republic. Teta appointed Llaban, former leader of the Kirrek rebels to lead a defense army on Kirrek, and reinforced his ranks by freeing his former soldiers on Ronika. Xash was a mechanically-adept male Dark Jedi who lived during the time of the Great Sith War. He was the twin brother of Sindra, with whom he shared apprenticeship under the Sith sorcerer Thannor Keth. Alongside his sister, Xash accompanied their Master to the planet Vigil in pursuit of a Force-sensitive girl known as Nova. Their ship crash-landed, at which time Xash and Sindra were sent to capture the girl. However, they came upon a Jedi named Lian Dray who resided on Vigil and had since become the girl's custodian. When Dray refused to turn her over, Xash ignited his lightsaber to engage the Jedi in combat. Xash was quickly immobilized by Dray, who severed his weapon hand in the process before engaging Sindra. Xash recovered and redoubled his efforts but was subsequently killed when Dray used the Force to hurl him into a nearby tree. (Read more…)

Sindra was a female Dark Jedi who lived in the days prior to the end of the Great Sith War. She was the twin sister of Xash, with whom she shared apprenticeship under the Sith sorcerer Thannor Keth. Alongside her brother, Sindra accompanied their Master to the planet Vigil in pursuit of the Force-sensitive girl known as Nova. Their ship crash-landed, at which time Sindra and Xash were sent to capture the girl. They came upon a Jedi named Lian Dray who resided on Vigil and had since become the girl's custodian. When Dray refused to turn her over, Sindra allowed her brother to engage the Jedi in lightsaber combat. She intervened after Xash lost his weapon hand and seriously injured Dray in the midst of their duel. She taunted Dray after knocking him to the ground, a move that enraged the Jedi. The tide of battle turned against Sindra as Dray then called upon the dark side of the Force to defeat her, but she was saved by the intervention of her brother. Sindra then employed the dark side to render Dray helpless but was overpowered when he blasted her with Force lightning. After killing Xash, Dray also killed Sindra with a stroke of his lightsaber. Second battle of Korriban

The Second Battle of Korriban was fought during the Great Hyperspace War between the battered and diminished forces of Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow and the forces of Koros system leader Empress Teta, who had followed her adversaries to the worlds of the Sith Empire. Fought immediately after Sadow's defeat of his old rival, Ludo Kressh, in the First battle of Korriban, the battle was the final engagement in the war. The forces of Empress Teta, motivated by revenge for the harm done to their worlds in the Great Hyperspace War, overpowered the Sith. Eventually, Sadow found himself without any defenses aboard his flagship, the Corsair, and was forced to fake his death and flee to the faraway moon of Yavin 4 by way of the Denarii Nova, where he used the dark side of the Force to both destroy his pursuers and cover up his tracks. Sith Lord Shar Dakhan then took over command of the Sith force, ordering suicide attacks by the remaining ships as a last resort. However, the Koros forces prevailed, and the Great Hyperspace War was ended. (Read more…)

C'borp

C'borp was Finhead Stonebone's chief gunner aboard the pirate vessel Marauder Starjacker, which operated some 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. In 4000 BBY, C'borp took the ship's laser turret to fire on an Ithullan ore hauler, which was transporting valuable ore that Stonebone wanted to siphon. C'borp destroyed the ore hauler's defenses, including a security detail loaned to the hauler by the powerful crime lord Bogga the Hutt. However, as the siphoning crew boarded the ore hauler, the Marauder Starjacker was captured, and its crew imprisoned, after the surprise appearance of Bogga's flagship, Enforcer One. C'borp and the other pirates were brought to the Hutt's estate on the moon of Vo Dasha, where Stonebone and his crew were offered exoneration for their pirating if they went to the desolate planet of Ambria to retrieve some Adegan crystals for the Hutt. Stonebone agreed, and C'borp and the group journeyed to Ambria with a team of Bogga's enforcers. The group successfully managed to obtain the crystals, but as the two groups began fighting amongst themselves about who would get the reward, Jedi trainee Nomi Sunrider attacked the criminals and killed C'borp. Dreebo was a starfighter pilot in the employ of the crime lord Bogga the Hutt around 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. In 4000 BBY, Dreebo was chosen to escort a pirate-threatened Ithullan ore hauler that was captained by a man named Gruna. Dreebo, flying in his light tactical fighter, eventually spotted two pirate vessels—one of which was the pirate flagship Marauder Starjacker, captained by Bogga's enemy, Finhead Stonebone—that were trying to siphon the hauler's ore. Dreebo brought around his starfighter in an attempt to attack the pirate ships, but every shot he fired missed its mark. As Dreebo continued firing on the Starjacker, the pirate gunner C'borp destroyed Dreebo's fighter, killing him. (Read more…)

Bogga was a Hutt crime lord who operated out of the Stenness Node in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Bogga was the head of a criminal empire that encompassed the Stenness system, and led an enforcer gang that was feared throughout the area. In 4000 BBY, Bogga received word that a Jedi Knight possessing valuable Adegan crystals had landed at the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal, where the Hutt often dwelt. Desiring the jewels, Bogga sent several of his enforcers to obtain them. The Jedi Knight, Andur Sunrider, was slain in the ensuing struggle, forcing his wife, Nomi, to take up his lightsaber and strike down two of Bogga's henchmen, while depriving the third of the crystals. Bent on obtaining the gems, Bogga followed the woman in his sail barge to the desolate planet of Ambria, where she was to deliver the jewels to the Hutt's sworn enemy, a Jedi Master named Thon. Bogga was again foiled when Thon and his apprentice, Oss Wilum, defeated the Hutt and his crew in a brief skirmish.

Bogga subsequently returned to his stronghold on the moon of Vo Dasha, although he remained committed to exacting revenge on Master Thon and obtaining the Adegan crystals. In the meantime, Bogga loaned a security crew to protect an Ithullan ore hauler, a ship that was under the threat of attack by pirates. The pirates were defeated, and their leader, a being named Finhead Stonebone, was captured and brought to Vo Dasha in chains. Bogga decided to spare Stonebone's life on one condition: that Stonebone would journey to Ambria, kill Master Thon, and obtain the crystals. Stonebone consented to the arrangement and left for Ambria. However, this third attempt to obtain the crystals failed like the previous two, as Thon and the newly trained Jedi Nomi Sunrider defeated Stonebone in a pitched battle. (Read more…)

Gruna was the male Nessie captain of an Ithullan ore hauler, which carried valuable mutonium ore through the Stenness Node in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Gruna's ship often came under attack by pirates, such as Finhead Stonebone and his gang, due to the hauler's expensive cargo. To counter this, Gruna paid local crime lord Bogga the Hutt to provide security while the ore hauler made its runs through the pirates' territory. On one particular shipment in 4000 BBY, Stonebone's group ambushed Gruna's ship, killing Bogga's enforcer, Dreebo, and siphoning some of the ore. However, Bogga's warship, Enforcer One, dropped out of hyperspace and captured the pirates, saving Gruna, his crew, and his cargo. (Read more…)

Roko, a male member of a tan-skinned species, was the first mate of pirate captain Finhead Stonebone in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Based in the Stenness Node, Stonebone's pirate gang plagued Ithullan ore haulers traveling through the region, attacking them and siphoning the valuable mutonium ore they carried. On one occasion in 4000 BBY, Roko and his team ambushed one particular ore hauler that was under the control of Captain Gruna. Although the ship was protected by minions of local crime lord Bogga the Hutt, the ship's defenses were neutralized, and Roko and a team of pirates moved in to pillage the ship and siphon its ore. However, they were surprised by the sudden arrival of Bogga's massive dreadnought, Enforcer One, which caught the pirate ship Marauder Starjacker in its tractor beam, capturing Roko, Stonebone, and the other pirates. They were brought to Bogga's estate on the moon of Vo Dasha, where Bogga offered Stonebone and the pirates freedom if he performed a task for the crime lord. When Stonebone refused, Bogga unleashed his hssiss pet Ktriss on Roko, and the beast quickly ripped him to shreds. (Read more…)

Fnnbu

Fnnbu was a male Zexx confederate of the notorious pirate Captain Finhead Stonebone, active in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. In 4000 BBY, Fnnbu accompanied a group of Stonebone-affiliated pirates and enforcers in the employ of local crime lord Bogga the Hutt to the desolate Stenness Node planet Ambria, on a mission to retrieve a lost shipment of valuable Adegan crystals held by Bogga's sworn enemy, Jedi Master Thon. To their surprise, Thon refused to fight back once the menagerie landed on Ambria's surface, and the Adegan crystals were soon found. However, Thon's Jedi apprentice, Nomi Sunrider, used a Force power known as battle meditation, hoping to turn the pirates and enforcers against each other. Her attempt was successful, and Fnnbu was the first to fall under the influence of the Force power. Fnnbu flew into a violent rage, attacking friend and foe alike, and within moments all of the pirates and enforcers were brawling with each other. Enforcer One

The Enforcer One was a modified Core Galaxy Systems Dreadnaught that served as the flagship of Stenness Node–based crime lord Bogga the Hutt in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Captained by an enslaved Near-Human named Norufu, the Enforcer One was nine hundred meters long and held a crew of forty-five, including the Weequay Grimorg, one of Bogga's top enforcers. The Enforcer One was heavily armed, boasting heavy turbolasers, sixteen laser cannons, and four tractor beam projectors.

In 4000 BBY, the dreadnaught was assigned to protect an Ithullan ore hauler that was traveling through the Stenness Node from pirates. However, the ore hauler was attacked by a gang of pirates led by Captain Finhead Stonebone, forcing the Enforcer One to enter the fray. The dreadnaught used its tractor beams to capture the pirate ships Marauder Starjacker and Stenness Raider, and subsequently brought them to Bogga's estate on the moon Vo Dasha. (Read more…)

Vo Dasha was the only moon of the Inner Rim planet of Taboon, located in the Aweris system of the Stenness Node region. A barren locale consisting of mountains, canyons, and rocky plains, Vo Dasha's Type II atmosphere forced visitors to the moon's surface to wear breath masks. By 4000 BBY, Vo Dasha and the surrounding area had fallen under the influence of Stenness Node-based crime lord Bogga the Hutt, who placed his estate and base of operations on Vo Dasha. The moon subsequently became the center of Bogga's criminal empire, the crime lord's home, and the docking place of Bogga's fleet, including the massive dreadnaught Enforcer One. In 4,000 BBY, the Enforcer One brought a captured gang of pirates, led by Finhead Stonebone, to Vo Dasha to meet with Bogga the Hutt, who sent the pirates on a mission to Ambria. (Read more…)

Stenness Hyperspace Terminal, also known as the Stenness Spaceport, was a space station located near a hyperspace beacon in the Stenness system in the Inner Rim. A multilevel construct located on the mining frontier, the terminal contained many vendors and traders, with hundreds of levels featuring brothels. Consequently, a large number of criminals on their way to stealing mining rights from the Nessies, the natives of the Stenness Node region, passed through the station. Stenness-based crime lord Bogga the Hutt and his gang also maintained a presence on the station.

In 4000 BBY, Jedi Knight Andur Sunrider and his family, while on their way to deliver a package of valuable Adegan crystals to Jedi Master Thon, stopped on the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal. The crystals piqued the interest of Bogga, who sent three of his enforcers to retrieve them. Andur Sunrider was killed in the ensuing struggle, and his wife Nomi took up his lightsaber and struck down the thugs. Nomi Sunrider then left the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal in her ship, the Lightside Explorer, determined to finish her late husband's delivery. (Read more…)

Noab Hulis

Noab Hulis was a male Miraluka Jedi who served the Order in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. He sired three daughters, each of whom would go on to serve the Jedi Order themselves. Hearing of the Jedi Chamma, who had become a Dark Jedi and gone into self-imposed exile for over a century having felt that the Force betrayed him, Hulis set about attempting to bring Chamma back to both the light side of the Force and the Jedi Order. Seeking out the former Jedi on H'ratth, the Miraluka at first found it exceedingly difficult to get through to Chamma. Eventually Hulis was able to relay Chamma's own story to him, evoking century-old memories. Hulis remonstrated that Chamma had not been betrayed by the Force, but rather that he had betrayed it, and so the former Jedi returned to the Order, going on to become a significant Jedi Master himself.

Hulis also made connections with wealthy members of the galactic nobility, such as Barrison Draay and Alok Adasca. Draay in particular was of interest to Hulis, as he was a Force-sensitive. The Miralukan paved the way for Draay's rapid progression through the Jedi ranks, as he was trained by Jedi Master Arca Jeth on Arkania. Draay also grew close to one of Hulis's daughters, Krynda, who had been trained by Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. Hulis went on to see both Draay and Krynda knighted on Arkania by Master Jeth—the two would later marry, and Krynda gave birth to Hulis's grandchild, Lucien. The Great Sith War, however, would bring considerable heartache to the family, as both the lives of Draay and one of Hulis's daughters were claimed in the conflict. (Read more…)

An aura or shadow of uneasiness was an ancient technique conjured through Sith magic that allowed an individual to proceed unabated by projecting a field of vague unease around themselves. While non-sentient creatures were primarily affected, cognizant beings also succumbed to its influence, experiencing feelings of confusion and discomfort when in close proximity to an individual emanating an aura of uneasiness. In 3997 BBY, a dark side-using secret society known as the Krath overthrew the Tetan Monarchy, and took control of the system. Halkans refused the Krath's demands, and was beheaded. His disembodied head was later served on a platter during a celebratory dinner at the Iron Citadel. During the dinner, his head was stolen by a Krath kitten. (Read more…)

The Krath Enchanter was the personal Tetan Royal Space Yacht of Satal and Aleema Keto, the heirs to the throne of the Empress Teta system, in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. In 3998 BBY, they traveled in the ship to the Galactic Museum on the Galactic Republic capital of Coruscant to obtain Sith artifacts, stopping at the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal space station along the way. Once on Coruscant, the Ketos stole a Sith spellbook from the museum and flew the Krath Enchanter to Onderon after hearing that dark side users were still prevalent there. The Krath Enchanter emerged from hyperspace to find a large Republic fleet getting ready to commence an attack on the Onderonian dark side regime, and despite the fleet's presence, Satal Keto flew the yacht through the blockade to the planet below. However, the ship was hit by lasers fired by Republic rocket-jumpers and crashed, although Satal and Aleema Keto managed to escape the wrecked ship before it exploded. (Read more…)

Magda Keto was a Human female who ruled the Empress Teta system with her brother, Lord Keto, in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Keto had a daughter named Aleema Keto who, along with Lord Keto's son Satal, was the heir to the Tetan throne. The Ketos were forced to share their dominion over the system with the commercial interests that controlled carbonite mines in the Empress Teta system. Eventually, Satal and Aleema Keto, filled with anger and resentment and possessing much free time, learned the secrets of dark side Sith magic and formed an organization known as the Krath, determined to wrest control of the system from their parents. The Krath struck while Magda Keto and her brother were on an inspection tour of one of the orbiting carbonite smelters over the planet Empress Teta. Keto and her brother were caught by surprise, as Satal and Aleema used Sith magic to overpower their protectors. Magda and Lord Keto were then frozen in carbonite by Satal and Aleema, killing them; Satal and Aleema hung the former rulers as decorations in the Iron Citadel, their former palace—and the Krath's new headquarters. Rask was a Human male native of Onderon who worked as a street preacher and philosopher in the Onderonian capital city of Iziz in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Rask was a member of the Naddist cult, which worshiped dead Dark Lord of the Sith Freedon Nadd, who once ruled Onderon. After the fall of Onderon's Naddist monarchy, Rask and his son, Nebo, continued to preach pro-Naddist sermons in the streets of Iziz. On one day in 3997 BBY, Rask and Nebo were delivering their usual Naddist messages when they were accosted by an angry rock-wielding mob; however, they were saved by a Jedi Knight, Exar Kun, who defended their right to free speech. Although Rask and Nebo were skeptical about Kun's assistance, Kun eventually admitted that he wanted to learn more about the dark side of the Force and believed the father-and-son duo could help him. Kun enlisted Rask and Nebo to guide him to the Tomb of Freedon Nadd on the moon Dxun, where they watched as Kun cut a hole in the side of the tomb with his lightsaber. Declaring him a tomb desecrator, Rask and Nebo pulled blasters on the Jedi when he emerged from the tomb, but Kun swiftly killed them both. (Read more…)

Nebo was a Human male street philosopher and Naddist who preached the virtues of a Naddist regime in the Onderonian capital city of Iziz in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. Nebo delivered sermons to the Iziz populace alongside his father, Rask, despite the fact that their rhetoric was highly unpopular with their audience, who were happy to be free of the former Naddist monarchy of Onderon. During one such sermon in 3997 BBY, a large angry mob began hurling projectiles at Nebo and Rask, but the two Naddists were saved by a lone Jedi Knight, Exar Kun. Despite their confusion at a Jedi protecting followers of the dark side, Kun enlisted the two Naddists to help him reach the tomb of the dead Dark Lord of the Sith Freedon Nadd. Nebo, along with his father, guided the Jedi to the mausoleum on the moon Dxun and watched as Kun cut a hole in the tomb's outer wall with his lightsaber in order to enter. Thinking him a tomb desecrator, Nebo and Rask pulled blasters on Kun once he emerged from within the structure but fell to Kun's lightsaber. (Read more…)

Shikkar

Shikkars were intricate, Force-crafted daggers made out of glass that were used by the Lost Tribe of Sith of the planet Kesh. Shikkars had long, elegant blades and were both used as weapons and prized amongst the Sith for their artistic value. They were made for one single usage; after a shikkar was used to stab someone the hilt was broken off, leaving the blade in the victim's body. The weapons were crafted and used often by members of three rival glass-crafting guilds on Kesh. Tura Sanga was famous among the Sith Tribe for crafting shikkars.

In 4985 BBY, the Sith Seelah Korsin owned a shikkar made by Kesh's native Keshiri. Millennia later, the weapons were still in use—in 43.5 ABY, several members of the Sith strike team sent to kill Luke Skywalker carried shikkars, including Sith apprentice Vestara Khai and her Master, the leader of the strike team, Lady Olaris Rhea. In 44 ABY, Khai's father, Gavar, presented Vestara with a shikkar from his personal collection in the hope that she would one day use it to kill either Skywalker or his son, Ben. (Read more…)

Dominus was a Jedi Master who was active up to and during the Great Sith War. A respected and venerable member of the Jedi Order, Dominus took multiple apprentices, his favorite of which was the Vultan Zona Luka. However, Luka was eventually seduced to the dark side and joined the Brotherhood of the Sith under Dark Lord Exar Kun in 3996 BBY. Not long after, Luka, who had been ordered by Kun to kill her former Master, attacked Dominus in his home. Although Dominus was shocked at his dearest apprentice's murder attempt, he still engaged the Vultan in a lightsaber duel. Luka gained the upper hand and struck Dominus down after a brief clash, although the dying Jedi Master gathered the strength to kill his former apprentice with the Force. (Read more…)

A wall of light was an immense manifestation of potentially destructive light side Force energy created by the focused power of a united Jedi front. The mother of brothers Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma, Lien-Tsai believed herself incapable of separating personal feelings of Jedi responsibility from those of parenthood, and thus sent her sons to be trained at the academy of the Arkanian Jedi Master Arca Jeth. Vima Sunrider's lightsaber was a traditional weapon created in 3986 BBY by the selfsame Jedi apprentice during her tutelage under Jedi Master Ulic Qel-Droma. Sunrider focused her lightsaber with Adegan crystals that once belonged to her late father, Andur Sunrider. Upon its completion, the weapon produced a brilliant green blade. Prazhi was an Expansion Region planet located in the Cyrillian Protectorate. It was the homeworld of the Zexx species. A member of the galactic community since at least 5000 BBY, a millennium later Prazhi was situated on an important hyperspace trade route. By the time of the Galactic Empire's reign, Prazhi had become a trade world the economy of which was revitalized by Imperial efforts to resettle the Expansion Region. (Read more…)

An individual was a member of the Jedi Order by 6900 BBY. Becoming a Dark Jedi, they fought against the Order during the Hundred-Year Darkness, at the conclusion of which they were among the group of Dark Jedi exiled from known space. Discovering the region inhabited by the Sith species, the exiles became rulers of the Sith Empire, with the armored Dark Jedi individual eventually becoming a Sith Warrior. (Read more…)

A Sith male Sith Lord served as a member of the Sith Empire's ruling council during the time leading up to the Great Hyperspace War of 5000 BBY. When his fellow Sith Lord Simus was killed that year in what the Sith Council assumed to have been a Galactic Republic attack, the Councilor expressed his outrage at the supposed perpetrators. Later, the Councilor participated in a private ceremony where the newly elected Dark Lord of the Sith, Naga Sadow, was branded with the emblem of the Dark Lords. When Sadow subsequently summoned the Sith Lords of the empire during the preparations for the upcoming invasion of the Republic, the Councilor was among the Lords that gathered at Sadow's fortress on the planet Khar Delba. Believing that learning the use of the dark side of the Force could help eradicate it, the Knight eventually had an argument with his former master, another Jedi. ROCKET

The ROCKET was a rocket pack model manufactured by Zim Systems and used by the Galactic Republic's Rocket-Jumper Elite Advance Unit. It had four rocket outriggers used for controlling midair pitch and roll and generated thrust via the use of a chemical fuel cell. The latter allowed for the operation of the rocket pack in outer space but also introduced the risk of fatal explosion if hit by a shot in combat.

Introduced around 11,000 BBY, the ROCKET saw continued service with the Republic rocket-jumpers for at least seven thousand years, and its famed use by the unit led to rocket packs in general being a romanticized, if outdated, mode of transportation by the time of the Galactic Empire. In 5 ABY, the weapons collector Doctor Itlar noted that the majority of the ROCKET units were still functional by that time. (Read more…)

The Guardians of the Breath, also known as the Kashi Mer Mystics, was an organization of Force-users hailing from the planet Kashi. Possessing a strong connection to the Living Force, they used the Force—known as "the Breath" to the Kashi Mer culture which they served—to aid with growing crops and healing the sick and injured. At some point by 24,500 BBY, the Kashi system was destroyed by a supernova; however, the Guardians survived the disaster, albeit with its members becoming scattered. The organization was still in existence by 990 BBY when it was briefly described in the Jedi trainee guidebook The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force. (Read more…)

Vultar Cataclysm

The Vultar Cataclysm was the destruction of the Vultar system in 4250 BBY. During the Third Great Schism that year, a group of Dark Jedi took up residence in the star system and discovered Celestial machines there, including the gravity-manipulation device known as the Cosmic Turbine. The darksiders activated the machinery but were unable to control it, and as a result, the entire Vultar system was destroyed. Centuries later, the Jedi Shayoto recalled the Vultar Cataclysm, and the event was also recorded in several historical documents. (Read more…)

Gorm was an Outer Rim Territories planet located in the Meerian sector. Located on the Galactic Frontier by 4000 BBY, it was the homeworld of the venomous reptiles known as gorm-worms, which were exported across the galaxy. Tomáš Jeník

Tomáš Jeník is a translator who worked on the BB art–published Czech translations of several Star Wars Omnibuses originally published by Dark Horse Comics. Jeník's localization work for Star Wars began by co-translating volumes one and two of Star Wars Omnibus: Tales of the Jedi with Jitka Jeníková, respectively released on June 15 and November 16, 2011. Most of Jeník's Star Wars translation work was done solo, only returning to collaborating with Jeníková for the translation of Star Wars Omnibus: Emissaries and Assassins, released in 2014.
