Tomáš Jeník

Tomáš Jeník is a translator who worked on the BB art–published Czech translations of several Star Wars Omnibuses originally published by Dark Horse Comics. Jeník's localization work for Star Wars began by co-translating volumes one and two of Star Wars Omnibus: Tales of the Jedi with Jitka Jeníková, respectively released on June 15 and November 16, 2011. Most of Jeník's Star Wars translation work was done solo, only returning to collaborating with Jeníková for the translation of Star Wars Omnibus: Emissaries and Assassins, released in 2014.

Tomáš Jeník is a translator who worked on the Czech translations of several of[1][2] the Dark Horse[3] Star Wars Omnibuses, with the translations being published by BB art. Alongside Jitka Jeníková, Jeník translated Star Wars Omnibus: Tales of the Jedi Volume 1[2] and Volume 2,[4] released respectively on June 15 and November 16, 2011, both originally written by Kevin J. Anderson and Tom Veitch.[2][4] Jeník continued to work on the localizations solo, translating W. Haden Blackman and Michael A. Stackpole's Star Wars Omnibus: X-Wing Rogue Squadron Volume 1. The translated omnibus was published on March 14, 2012.[5] On March 27, 2013, the Czech translation of Mike Kennedy and Lucas Marangon's Star Wars Omnibus: Rise of the Sith came out, also translated by Jeník.[6]

The translator also provided the localizations for Star Wars Omnibus: A Long Time Ago.... Volume 1[7] and its second volume that was written by Archie Goodwin,[8] released on November 14, 2012,[7] and October 16, 2013, respectively.[8] Jeník reunited with Jeníková for the Czech translation of Star Wars Omnibus: Emissaries and Assassins written by Blackman and Jan Duursema, released on April 2, 2014,[9] before going back to work alone to translate Star Wars Omnibus: Menace Revealed by Blackman and Timothy Truman, with the translation being published on November 5, 2014.[1]
