- Why should you be granted rollback rights?
- Well… I operated with rollback from 2018, I was made an administrator in 2019, and I became a bureaucrat in 2021 (and for that summer operated as our sole BC). I also operated a bot and ran our twitter account, amongst other things. So, in all, I know my way around the site. I resigned all these positions in 2021 due to burnout and uni workload, but having been drawn back, I feel ready to pick up the reins again. Ultimately, I would like to step back up to admin, but I recognise I've been gone for a while and I would like to get up to speed on anything that has changed. Rollback is a perfect stepping stone for this and still puts me in a good position to further immerse myself in the community. There isn't much practical use in this for me, since I have AJAX undo, but nonetheless I think it's an important role to show new users who they can go to with questions and concerns.
