- Time for the double-whammy! I'm nominating Spooky for admin for many reasons, but the main one is that she is one of the most level-headed individuals I know in this community. Every conversation I have with her is unbelievably professional; she's calm and collected no matter the situation. But in addition to this, she also knows what it takes to make good wiki content, as evidenced by her status articles and her work on the CAN (and soon to be GAN as a member of the AC). She also has extensive wiki leadership experience as a beureaucrat on the Warriors Wiki, which is a qualification many current admins did not have when they were elected, myself included. She has been instrumental in driving this community toward being safer and more inclusive to readers and editors, and her insight into issues that many on the admin team are unaware of or unsure of how to handle has been invaluable. I've been considering Spooky for this role for a long time, and I finally decided, with some push from Imperators, that it was time to make it happen. Let's face it, our admin ranks are way too small to properly moderate a wiki of this size, and there is simply no better candidate to add to this team than Spooky. MasterFred

- There is no one that i could think of more suited for the role than Spooky is. As Fred mentioned, she has leadership experience, but also Wook experience through the review boards. Her edits and reviews are of constant quality, but she's more than just a great editor with experience. She has led this community towards inclusivity and is helping make it a better place everyday; while also being welcoming of new users, and helping them through editing, and nominations. Her advice is always valuable and this wiki would not be the same without her, and many editors, myself included, would not be in this place today if it wasn't for her work. Her addition to the admin team will take this even further, allowing everyone to feel safe and included. thank you for your work spook <3 HeadSpikesWalls (she/they)
(talk!) 23:56, 11 January 2023 (UTC) - Absolutely. Spooky exhibits level-mindedness comparable to few other Wookieepedians I've known so far, and her willingness to help out other members of this community is legendary. Very looking forward to working together! Imperators II(Talk) 00:07, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- There's not really much I can say that I haven't already said on her AC nomination or someone else has already said. Spookly has been around for a long time. She has the knowledge of the site's workings, presence in the community, maturity, and level-headedness that all make good admin qualities, in addition to a record of leadership on other wikis. I have no doubt in Spooky's leadership capabilities. Congratulations! Fan26 (Talk) 00:10, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

- Spooky is a natural leader who absolutely understands the wiki, two key aspects for admins. And there's a reason that the review boards were so excited when she returned from her hiatus: we knew she was going to start churning out well-written articles once again. Also happy to see another woman on the admin team, which is hopefully a sign for things to come. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 00:46, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- I have no doubts about Spooky's experience and expertise or her commitment to Wookieepedia. She has come back to Wook over and over despite the reasons she has sometimes taken time away. We shall be thumbs!!! Immi Thrax
(she/her) 00:46, 12 January 2023 (UTC) - I know with the last vote there was some argument that "we don't need more admins," however I disagree. Someone who is in the administration might know more about the logistics regarding the number of admins, but 2022 seemed to be a net loss. Tommy and Green tentacle resigned, Ecks was banned, and Zed became inactive. OOM and Immi were nominated, however that's an overall loss of two admins. So the question of whether or not we "need" more admins seems irrelevant since we have less now than we had a year ago. Rsand 30 (talk) 00:56, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- Spooky's has been a fantastic editor to work with for several years and I look forward to many more. SPOOKY SWEEEEEEP. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 01:07, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- As someone who has worked with and known Spooky longer than everyone else, I can't say this nomination didn't bring a tear to my eye. Spooky has, over the years I've been friends with her, become such a wonderful example of leadership, kindness, and knowledge. She is, without a doubt, one of the best administrators that Warriors Wiki has ever had. I always knew she would go far, but I never even thought to think she'd go this far. I can't wait to see this pass, and I'm so excited to watch her take an even bigger leap forward. I admire her, cherish her, and love her greatly and give her nothing but my full support. —SnowedLightning (they/them) 01:25, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- Spooky's a great editor, and per Rsand another administrator definitely seems needed to replace the ones the wiki has lost. ThrawnChiss7

- Though I have only known her for a short time compared to many on the site, I'm in full support of Spooky's nomination and rise to become an admin! Her incredible capacity for kindness is one of the most important qualities in any leader. As a relatively new user myself, it is so encouraging to see people like Spooky as active forces in improving the community—it's people with her kind of dedication toward others that make newcomers feel incredibly welcome. From some perspectives, admins are the face of the site, and I think there is no better candidate to represent this than Spooky. Here's to more women on the admin team! <3 Herasoars (talk) 04:52, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- THUMBS THUMBS THUMBS. I have no doubt Spooky will be an excellent admin, with both her existing experience and her drive to fight for change. It's exactly what Wook needs. I'm always in awe of her kindness and patience, too, and I can't wait to see the excellence she'll bring to the team. Dropbearemma

- I've hesitated to cast my vote for you, because I first intended to stay neutral, since as contrary to the others editors that have expressed themselves here, I've virtually no opinion of you, as we nearly never meaningfully interacted (except for that incident on IRC years ago, for which I'll forever be regretful) and I can't really say I've witnessed you engage with others (but that's because I'm too deep in my various niches interest ^^). However, I trust in this community and the people that have displayed their appreciation and trust for you, and if they do, then I guess I damn well would do too. - Why do you want to become an administrator?
- I'd like to become an administrator to help the community continue to grow and thrive, even moreso than it already does. The Wookieepedia community means a lot to me, and it's amazing to see how far we have come in recent times.
- In your opinion, what is the role of an administrator?
- The role of an administrator is to both act as a social role model in the community, but also to carry out many essential archiving functions that keep the site running. Admins can also offer an experienced contributor's outlook in community discussions and votes.
- In your view, do administrators hold a technical or political position?
- Both. In technical terms, administrators have a lot of tools they can use to moderate. Politically, they are often role models for new users to look up to for advice and can serve as representatives of the site to those outside of Wookieepedia.
- How do you feel admins should use their power/stand in comparison with other users?
- Naturally, administrators should use their powers in accordance with policy to carry out site functions, and when the need arises, protect the Wookieepedia community. At the same time, administrators remain a part of the community itself, and retain the same amount of say as anyone else when gathering consensus.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- There's been a few times in which editing the Wook had turned stressful, but that time has passed as the perpetrators are now gone. The way I prefer to deal with things is to keep a level head and think thoroughly before responding, while always assuming good faith.
- Of your articles or contributions to Wookieepedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- Especially proud of Fanry; she's a lovely princess from my favorite book.
- What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with?
- Unlimited powah?? Probably just the usual. I'm particularly interested in ensuring our policies and standards continue to stay up to date and easier to read, which is something that can be done with a bit of SH draft work.
- How important is it for you to be involved in things such as CT, FA, GA, and other community-centered items that involve discussion and voting?
- Very important! Voting is how we push forward change on the Wook, and discussing future changes is how things come to a vote. I'm extremely involved in the review board functions, and it remains one of my main Wook focuses.
- Do you think admins performing actions (I.e. deletions, blocks, etc.) for reasons not covered on policy should be sanctioned/punished? If so, how?
- In some cases, yes. Often, the administration makes major decisions as a team, but should there be a rogue actor sometime in the future who causes the community harm with their tools, it should certainly be looked into.
- What is your policy, if any, of welcoming new users? Should you welcome a new user, do you look at their contributions beforehand? What about anonymous IPs?
- Welcoming new users is one of the most important parts of growing and retaining our future editorbase. Similarly, we should also welcome anonymous contributors, with the hope that they will make an account in the future.
- How would you react if someone undeleted an article you'd mistakenly speedied? Under what circumstances would you consider it appropriate to undelete an article mistakenly speedied by another administrator, if any, and how would you approach this task?
- Wouldn't be an issue at all. If I was undeleting someone else's article, I'd shoot them a message as to why and if it became a disagreement we could always take it to TC.
- How would you react if your user page was vandalized? Under what circumstances would you block the offender? Is there anything else that you would do in this situation?
- Rollback and block them according to standard procedure.
- Under what circumstances would you consider blocking an established user?
- The same rules apply to every user, from the newest editor to the oldest bureaucrat. I would not hesitate to block or warn anyone for an infraction should it prove serious enough, especially if it harmed the community greatly. Everyone should be held to the same standard.
- If you could change any one thing about Wookieepedia, what would it be?
- I'd really like it if we could have more opportunities to do voice calls for reviews and watching sessions! I'm a huge fan of chatting to people with that medium and think it could be used to great benefit.
- Would you look at a glass to be half-empty or half-full?
- It's always half empty because I have a caffeine addiction.
- Do you feel the current blocking policy is too restrictive, not restrictive enough, or OK as it is?
- It's mostly fine as it is.
- How do you feel about people who already have some influence on other Star Wars communities (TheForce.net, StarWars.com) trying to change policies here?
- Definitely depends on their intentions. If they are bringing up valid issues we need to address, then their opinions could be listened to by community members, who could then vote on a policy change. However, in the end, the consensus of the current Wook community should dictate policy.
- How many clones do you think fought in the Clone Wars? (Note: You are wrong no matter what answer you give.)
- Just Sister. We love her.
- Who is the most awesome Jedi of all time? (Note: The only correct answer is Kyle Katarn.)
- Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi all the way.
- What's more important to you: consensus or policy?
- Consensus is most important, as consensus dictates policy. Most of the Wook's policies in particular are amended as time passes, which reflects this well.
- Have you had any previous leadership experience (in your community, on the web, etc.)?
- On the Wook, I'm a member of the EduCorps review board, and am also a former rollback of the site. Off the site, I'm a member of the Fandom Stars program and have served as a bureaucrat of the Warriors Wiki since 2019.
- What is your attitude towards users who have quit the site or have been banned, but still continue to attempt to influence the site in any way?
- I welcome hearing from as many points of view as possible when considering a decision. Oftentimes, it's easy to focus on the editor's lens of our articles, without fully considering what a casual reader may see. As long as former editors have good intentions their input should be welcomed, even if it is disagreed with in the end.
- What is your wiki philosophy?
- "A great leap forward often requires taking two steps back." - One of my favorite Kenobi quotes. I feel like it really represents the Wook, and helps me keep a positive outlook on our relative progress as we move in a new direction. Looking forward to the Wook's better and brighter future!
