Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition mentions Sy and Greeata were for "a period of time performing in cantinas as a duo, but one night an Ortolan named Max Rebo—the keyboard player in a band led by Evar Orbus—witnessed their act." Notably the location also being a cantina, as opposed to unrelatedly being discovered by Rebo in that source alone, isn't obvious. But combined with Greeata's Databank (2001) saying that they were discovered in a cantina by Rebo, I'm counting the first book as first mention. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 05:03, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
