Winlion was one of the 1,000 moons of Iego, a group of moons that orbited the Outer Rim Territories planet Iego. Each of the moons was as mysterious as the planet itself,[1] which was located at Standard Galactic Grid coordinates T-7.[4] Its gray surface was dotted with numerous craters.[1]
Behind the scenes
Winlion was mentioned in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia. The art used for the moon in the Visual Encyclopedia[1] originated in a piece of concept art title "Iego 1000 Moons" that was drawn by Jackson Sze on October 3, 2007 for "Mystery of a Thousand Moons," an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[5] The moon did not appear in the episode itself.[6]
