- "The locals say he ventured off into the forest and never came back."
- ―Jecki Lon, reporting information on Kelnacca she had learned from Kajok
Wiltoo Kajok was a Huwawan male from the planet Khofar. Wiltoo and his older brother, Taibik Kajok, worked as guides for tourists on Khofar in their younger days. When they became older, the brothers stopped working as guides and instead stayed at a tent near a basic spaceport that they maintained, where they bartered or sold safety tips, map programs, and survival gear. In 132 BBY, when a team of Jedi visited the spaceport on a mission to extract Jedi Master Kelnacca, Wiltoo spoke to Padawan Jecki Lon and informed her Kelnacca had ventured into the forest and never returned. The next morning, Wiltoo and Taibik played a game of dejarik together, and Wiltoo knocked several pieces off the board when their betting grew heated. Later, Wiltoo again spoke with a team of Jedi, who had come to investigate the deaths of most of the previous Jedi team.
Biography
- "What did they say?"
"Seems an umbramoth colony hatched last night and wreaked havoc on a local settlement." - ―Vernestra Rwoh and Mog Adana
Wiltoo Kajok was a Huwawan male from the planet Khofar who was born[1] around 181 BBY.[2] He was the younger brother of Taibik Kajok, who was born[1] around 184 BBY.[2] The two brothers maintained a spaceport that had only basic amenities for travelers. In their younger days, Wiltoo and Taibik worked as guides that led tourists along the few trails through Khofar's forests. When they became older, they instead stayed at their dockside tent, where they wished explorers luck and bartered or sold safety tips, map programs, and survival gear. At one point, Wiltoo was exposed to a jungle illness that resulted in his hair thinning.[1]

In 132 BBY,[5] a team of Jedi arrived on Khofar to extract Jedi Master Kelnacca from his post on the planet and landed at the brothers' spaceport. Using a translatacomp, Padawan Jecki Lon spoke to Wiltoo in Basic, describing Kelnacca and informing Wiltoo the Jedi were looking for him.[3] While seated on his throne-like leather chair,[6] Wiltoo responded in[3] an obscure variant of Huwawi that the translatacomp found hard to analyze,[1] telling her that Kelnacca had ventured into the forest and never returned. Eventually, he rose[3] indignantly and gave a dismissive wave[6] to Lon as she rejoined the other Jedi, who she then informed of what she had learned. The Jedi then traveled into the forest,[3] where most of them were killed by a Sith known as the Stranger.[1]
The next morning, Wiltoo and Taibik played[4] a low-tech, high-stakes version of dejarik on a rustic board. Although they pooled their money, their wagering grew heated,[1] and Wiltoo knocked several pieces off the board.[7] The brothers ignored[8] the surviving members of the Jedi team walking past them.[7] Later, Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh arrived at the brothers' spaceport with another team to investigate the deaths of the first group. Wiltoo sat on his chair with Taibik standing next to him while speaking with the Jedi. The brothers informed the team that an Umbramoth colony had hatched the previous night. They continued to speak with another Jedi as[4] Padawan[9] Mog Adana informed Rwoh about the hatching of the umbramoth colony and suggested it could have been responsible for the deaths. The team then left to investigate the location where the Jedi had died.[4]
Personality and traits
Wiltoo had tan skin, thinning brown hair, and dark eyes. He stood 1.73 meters (5 feet 8 inches) tall.[1] By 132 BBY,[5] when he was forty-nine standard years old, he had creaking bones and a sore back. He had had his fill of thrill-seekers who wandered off-trail and chose to stay at his dockside tent with Taibik. The brothers filled their time by playing dejarik, and although they pooled their money, their betting grew heated, with Wiltoo knocking pieces off the board during one game. Wiltoo was more ambitious than Taibik and imagined turning their stretch of land into more than a barren field. He envisioned lodging, restaurants, and a proper port, but had only a dim awareness of what property laws and increased traffic would entail.[1]
Skills and abilities
Wiltoo spoke an obscure variant of Huwawi that Jedi translatacomps struggled to analyze.[1]
Equipment
Wiltoo wore a brown shirt, a purple cloth around his neck, pants with a red and brown pattern, black waterproof boots, and knuckle guarded work gloves. He wore a brown belt with sedative gas grenades for wildlife safety, colored smoke gas grenades, and an emergency transmitter beacon. On one arm he wore tagging tracker dart tubes.[1]
Behind the scenes
Wiltoo Kajok first appeared, albeit unidentified, in "Day,"[3] the fourth episode of the live-action series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which premiered June 18, 2024.[10] He was identified in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book, Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide.[1] Concept art of Wiltoo was created by Ivan Manzella.[11] The scenes at the landing site[12] including Kajok[5] were filmed at the Portuguese island Madeira.[12]
