Wave zinnias were a type of pink plant. During the High Republic Era, a café on the planet Coruscant had floating planters featuring wave zinnias overflowing from them.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] the Nihil Minister of Information Ghirra Starros visited the establishment, noticing the plants while enjoying a glass of cream tea.[1]
Behind the scenes
Wave zinnias appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3] In the real world, zinnias are a type of colorful flower.[4]
