Vuzsa was an astronomical object[2] in the Vuzsa system in the Arkanis sector of the Outer Rim Territories, in grid square R-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The CR90 corvette Tantive IV jumped to Vuzsa from[2] the planet[3] Iskalon during its journey to the planet Tatooine after escaping the Battle of Scarif[2] in 1 BBY.[4] During the journey, the corvette's captain, rebel Raymus Antilles, took no direct route and doubled back on himself to try and evade Imperial pursuit; however, the Sith Lord Darth Vader was able to track the Tantive IV as it arrived at Vuzsa and then jumped from there to Tatooine.[2]

Behind the scenes

In the new Star Wars canon, Vuzsa was mentioned in The Odyssey of Star Wars: An Epic Poem, a 2021 adaptation of the original trilogy written by Jack Mitchell.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Vuzsa was a Outer Rim Territories planet[5] that was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, published by West End Games.[6]
