Vjun was a planet[5] located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories in grid square Q-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] situated between Lucazec and Phindar along the Salin Corridor hyperspace route.[3] In the wake of the Emergences of the Great Hyperspace Disaster during the High Republic Era, Vjun was among many locations in the Outer Rim whose hospitals were overrun with victims.[4] It was home to the famous tailors who wove Count Dooku's elegant cloak.[5] At some point, Dooku dueled Jedi Master Yoda on the planet, and before making a tactical withdrawal, he accomplished the nearly impossible by wounding his former Master.[6]

Behind the scenes

Vjun was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, a 2014 reference book written by Adam Bray, Kerrie Dougherty, Cole Horton, and Michael Kogge.[7] It was originally created for the 1995 Star Wars Legends comic Dark Empire II 6, written by Tom Veitch and pencilled by Cam Kennedy.[8]
