Imposter!

FYI, I think that someone is going around with your name and vandalizing pages on FFXIclopedia.com [[1]] Unless that really was you... -_-

Same on Ossus, unfortunately... NLoriel 10:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

I see, so you're saying....

If I restrict it to 1 subpage, it's alright, right? Trosk 01:47, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Only if it has substantial Star Wars related content. Also, if this is to be your only contribution to the wiki, it's likely that other users will ignore it. Wookieepedia is not primarily a site for userpages: it's a site for Star Wars articles. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:51, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't care if other people read it, it's mostly for me. Besides, there's SW stuff there. Trosk 01:52, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I stil don't see the problem. Trosk 01:58, 19 November 2006 (UTC) THANX A BUNCH

sockpuppet

The users of Maccus and Capt. Davy Jones are the same person, when posed before it, they have denied it, but the style of writing is the same, and have even used the same sentences as excuses for they're nonsencical edits, please block them. Therequiembellishere 16:55, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Neither sockpuppet has been seen in weeks, so I'm not going to do anything about it beyond mark their userpages with sockpuppet notices. —Silly Dan (talk) 17:00, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Vandal

I noticed you caght and deleted that talk page, well, I VIP tagged the guy who did it, go to recent changes to see. User:Brain40/Sig.

  • Warned him. If that anonymous user continues, I'll assume it's the serial vandal blocked earlier and block the IP. —Silly Dan (talk) 18:48, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Thanks, I tagged him with the Vandalism in progress template, so you should be able to get to his page easily. Can i add him to my vandals busted list? User:Brain40/Sig.
    • Well, we haven't proven that he is a vandal -- and I personally don't like the idea of a vandals busted list: it could serve to encourage them to continue wasting our time. This is why I've been deleting the user pages of indefinitely blocked usernames, and several of the recent vandalism-only accounts haven't even had {{banned}} applied to their userpages. —Silly Dan (talk) 18:53, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Good point, I'll take it off. Do you want me to take the VIP tag off then? User:Brain40/Sig.
    • Okay, removed, sorry for the trouble, just being cautious. User:Brain40/Sig.
      • Looks like you got hit again. I hate freakin' vandals; one of those trolls tried to wipe out everything I did over on the fanon wiki once. Jwebb13HoloNet40px 21:56, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi

Hello, Silly Dan. I'm sorry for what someone that used my IP has done to Wookiepedia. But it wasn't me. I am a member of Wikipedia and I do not vandalize pages. So, if someone keeps doing this, report this abuse to USA Datanet, my ISP. See ya around! 66.218.19.101 18:57, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Ad guy

I see you deleted this Recommended Products, only to have it recreated, but the creator say its legit and for Wikia. Where to go with this? -- Riffsyphon1024 02:21, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Asking on #wikia now. We'll see what they say. FWIW, it hasn't been created on Muppet Wikia, Memory Alpha, or Uncyclopedia (which doesn't have the same sort of ads we have anyway, of course.) —Silly Dan (talk) 02:25, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Banned user

Hey Dan. I thought I recognised the name of the user you just banned. User:Bonny Eberndu kept posting nonsense the other week. Since it's probably the same guy, I don't know if you want to block that account too. Green Tentacle (Talk) 13:43, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

1. How can I use the Talk specially if I want to talk about some articles of the Star Wars characters?

2. How can I create my User Page so it can looks great?Darth_Venger 11:54, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

  • I'm just doing the Human and Near-Human category for now: the rest doesn't have the necessary consensus yet...—Silly Dan (talk) 03:38, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

nearhuman questions

off the top of my head, im pretty sure Ultimate Alien Anthology is what calls Khommites near humans.

Numerous sources call both the Pau'ans and Utai near-humans, including the Ep III novelization and sources as recent as the Forces of Corruption Prima guide. Personally, I agree with you, I can't see the Utai as near-human, but that is a canon statement unless Lelan says otherwise :( JustinGann 04:37, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the reply. Although I suspect they were getting "humanoid" and "near-human" mixed up again, I guess I'll put all three back on the list and into the proper subcategory. If you can find a specific quote for the Utai, it might be good to point it out in the BtS section. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:40, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Astral 82

Hi Silly Dan.I want to talk with you about the picture of the zhell that i added today.Well the picture actualy is my work and i made it based upon the historical data about zhell race in New Essintial Chronology and all information that is stored here in Wookiepedia. The zhell race is pre-human race and the zhells itself are similar with humans but in the age that is similar with Medieval age in our history. We talk about ~200 000 years BBY and the information for this era is poor. And based upon this i've created a hipothetic image of the zhell. So if you agreed with me allow me to add this image. Thank you and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU. Unsigned comment by Astral82 (talk • contribs)

  • The problem is, we need our articles to stick with the published facts as much as we can. Thus, we can't use fan art. For instance, since there aren't any illustrations of them, any fan art of the Zhell is going to include a lot of speculation. Maybe red hair was rare among the Zhell. Maybe they didn't have women warriors. Maybe their technology during their battles with the Taung was closer to our 20th century, so a Zhell warrior of that era would have looked more like a World War II GI. Sorry, but we've removed the picture and deleted it from our database: however, if you want to decorate your userpage with it according to our User image policy, it would be OK if you re-uploaded it. Cheers, —Silly Dan (talk) 01:58, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Gluupwhore

  • Couldn't you just make that page be a redirect to constantly recreated pages? Or am I missing something? Thanks. Chack Jadson 02:30, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
    • I'm making several variant spellings using special characters redirect there. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:32, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
      • So soon this guy will have to give up because all variants of Gluupwhore will be a redirect? Chack Jadson 02:33, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
        • The thing is, it's easier for us to block his new username than it is for him to come up with variant spellings or a new username. Plus, he's outnumbered by the admins, even if you only count the ones who are awake and online. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:36, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
          • Well, that's good, but I think this guy might have exposed a chink in our armor. The fact that he is on AOL means we can't block his IP, so do we just keep blocking him and making redirects? Chack Jadson 02:39, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
            • Actually, he's using multiple IP adresses.--Lord OblivionSith holocron30px 02:41, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
              • If he was on AOL, his apostrophes wouldn't come out all messed up. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:42, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
                • He claimed to be on an open proxy earlier in an edit summary. I'm not entirely sure I understand the concept, although I get the gist. I've also noticed in the block log IPs being blocked for being an open proxy. Is there a way to block the range of IPs he is using temporarily at least, or are they that different? Is he really coming up with a new IP for every single new user account he creates (which has been a lot in the last half hour). Wildyoda 03:35, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
                  • If he's using a series of open proxies, they may come from a contiguous IP range or come from a series of different random computers spread across the world, depending on how he's accessing them, how technically adept he is, and how much time he wants to waste on the project. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:39, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Sources and Appearances Question

I noticed in Darth Nospher's talk page you said that if something is listed as an appearance it should not be listed as a source. I believe you and everything, but just wondering is that actually listed as a policy somewhere, because it seems to me we generally go for completeness to an obnoxious level on things like that and I was surprised, although it does seem to be the case in most other articles. I mean isn't it a different enough thing if your source of information is, for instance as we were discussing, Galactic Battlegrounds, to list it as a source as well? Probably a ridiculously academic question that I'll smack myself for posting when I've had more sleep, but I'm trying to delve into the policy and figure it all out as I've been immersing myself in the culture here lately. Aar'la

Thanks for subcating the Aar'la article. I was doing it at the same time you were so mine didn't go through. I have been going through the articles on the entire list of Sentient races and species to see if they are properly subcategorized. Tell me if you find anymore that need to be fixed and I will for you.--ShadowTrooper 20:25, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

  • You took Aar'la off the main list you know. It needs to be on the main list and the reptillian subcat.--ShadowTrooper 20:29, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Actually, see Forum:Races and species categorization revamp: I was thinking of dividing them into both alphabetical and biological subcategories. In the meantime, they shouldn't really be in a category and its subcategory. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:42, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
      • I thought the category is supposed to be the full list and the subcategory splits them up more. If thats not the way its supposed to be we need to make a full list.--ShadowTrooper 01:31, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
        • There is List of sentient races and species, if that covers what you're looking for. But we shouldn't put articles in a parent category and in a subcategory: if we did that, we'd need one monster category for "people", which we'd put every character in, making it impossible to find anything. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
          • I think I understand. The List of sentient races and species covers every Sentient Species while the articles that are listed below the subcats in the main cat are articles that are not subcated.

The articles that are in subcats should only be on the List of sentient races and species and in their subcat. Tell me if I'm right or wrong.--ShadowTrooper 01:47, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

  • You've got it right. We haven't actually done this on all of those articles: I was reluctant to so myself for a while, because I wanted to reorganize the category entirely, but maybe we should get started on that. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:54, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
    • I propose that we should do our best to have it completetely organized the way we have it currently.

If we do get it confirmed to be categorized another way so be it. I, myself am also unsatisfied with its current format of categorization. Check the Forum:Races and species categorization revamp. I have posted the sentience article there for constant reference.--ShadowTrooper 02:06, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Crumb Morons

These vandals like the crumb loser seem to have found a weakness. Is he like this Gluupwhore idiot, whose IP cannot be blocked? Are you guys (mainly I need a name) just creating user talk pages and redirecting them before he can create them (in addition to the blocking)? Thanks. I know you're busy, so don't feel rushed to respond. Chack Jadson 22:53, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

  • The thing is, blocked users have to be able to request an unblock so that mistaken blocks can be corrected. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:36, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Yeah, but I was wondering were you guys just creating pages (like User Talk:Crumb337) and redirecting them before he could? Chack Jadson 19:54, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
      • A few of us were. I'm not sure that it was really particularly helpful, though. Best to protect only the ones which are already created. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:02, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
        • So guys who use proxies basically have unlimited access to vandalism because we can't ban them as they use different IP's? Sorry if I'm bothering you with all these questions. Chack Jadson 20:05, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
          • More or less. The only thing most users can do if the initial series of warnings and blocks don't work is make vandalizing as dull a pastime as possible, by reverting their edits, blocking individual usernames quickly, and otherwise ignoring them as much as we can. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:09, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
            • Thanks. I'm done asking you questions now. Again, thanks a ton for explaining this to me. Chack Jadson 20:12, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Re: Species categorization

Let me make sure I get this straight. You want all of the species starting with the letter 'a' to go in Category:Sentient species (A), such as Aalagar, Aar'aa, Aaris, etc. And then do the same thing with b, c, d, etc. If that's correct so far, would I be replacing the current category - Category:Races and species - with these new ones, or would it just be in addition to it. Also, would it include species under the subcats like Category:Aquatic sentient species or not?

  • I went ahead and moved the articles starting with A to Category:Sentient species (A), but this does not include subcategories. Let me know if this is correct before I do anymore. Also, I'll be out of town over the next few days, so I'll probably be in and out getting this done. —Xwing328(Talk) 05:12, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
    • You have it right, I think. I changed the alphabetization of the categories like Category:Sentient species (A), though: you could revert those changes if you didn't like them. I also wanted to replace the "Races and species" category with a "Sentient species" category, since the current category doesn't emphasize the "sentient" part. —Silly Dan (talk) 11:12, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
      • Once we get close to being done with the alphabetization, I'll change Races and species. That's one of the easiest parts, but it'll be redundant if we don't move the others out first. I was thinking we could categorize them as [[Category:Sentient species (A)| ]], so they would all be together without any letters, if that makes sense. —Xwing328(Talk) 17:06, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, that part of Talk:Twi'lek wasn't really an on-topic question: remember that article talk pages are more meant to be for discussing the article's content than for discussing the article's subject. The section SparqMan removed had more-or-less degenerated into an "OMG Twi'lek chix are teh hott"-fest. You may disagree, but calling him an idiot certainly won't help. (Anyway, it's not me you should apologize to, it's him.)
As far as the religion question goes, any reputable reference will tell you that Mormons consider themselves Christians, no matter what some Christian denominations may think about their beliefs. Besides, religious debates are off-topic on Wookieepedia, unless you're talking about Kopa Khan or something like that. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:39, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Are you aware that a "Willy on Wheels" troll has been impersonating you at the Mario wiki? Rodtheanimegod4ever 04:10, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Par for the course, really. Our first serial troll was pretending to be a Wikipedia admin. —Silly Dan (talk) 04:19, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Dear Friend...

Dear friend I am updating my constantly userpage, so I am erasing, putting and successively, thanks for the attention call and am to as much of it, Sincerelly: User_talk:Starkiller1996

Empirepedia

The problem with "Empirepedia users' side of things" is that there is no user community on Empirepedia. There is only one op, sole enforcer not interested in Star Wars at all. Thus no organized "Empirepedia users" can give us their opinion.

I tried to put messages on talk pages of users and IPs of five persons who edited something at Empire (as mentioned in the topic on "New Polish sister site"), but the op removed that, reverting and/or deleting their talk pages and accusing me of spamming (though the messages were personalized and directed at specific persons, referring to their edits). So I placed the same info on Empire main page... But I don't think a "community representative" will stand up, since there is simply no community. You have an idiom for that, "beating a dead horse", I believe?

I don't want to comment too extensively on Szoferka's actions, but due to that Prymonek person actions (I'm starting to believe that it might also have been him who repeatedly attacked Ossus in the past days, just to provoke this unnecessary conflict, though no persons from Ossus responded in kind) she generally feels that anyone involved in Ossus is interested only in sabotaging Empirepedia, thus it's impossible for anyone whom she associates with Ossus to reason with her.

What more... I can translate for you some articles or discussions from Empire or Ossus if it would help. I would be happy to see all this mess cleaned up. For me, the most sensible choice would be to delete Empire and possibly move Ossus to Wikia (possibly retaining few useful articles from Empire, since most of them is just a poor variant of Uncyclopedia or semi-translated text from Wookiee), but I'm not the decision-maker in this.

Block Procedure

  • Sorry about that. I was just following VIP instructions. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:09, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
    • They've been superseded by Forum:Deny recognition, I think. I'll go tweak them to be clear. Thanks for blocking whoever it was, anyway. —Silly Dan (talk) 04:20, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
      • I was a bit confused- I didn't see anything on that page about short blocks. Could you explain a little bit? Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:28, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
        • The idea is that {{banned}} only goes on user pages which are meant to be deleted in a month: and, for that matter, it's optional when you're permanently blocking a vandal-only account. Anyway, if it's only supposed to be used for long-term blocks as a way to mark temporary user pages, we don't need to put it on the user pages of IPs with short blocks. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:43, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
          • Thanks, I'm such a noob at this. If I ever do anything wrong and you catch it, please let me know! Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:09, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks! I don't know how that happened. Of course, hundreds of those edits are me correcting my own spelling mistakes or something....—Silly Dan (talk) 05:26, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Fluffy

I created it with a verify tag becuase after an anon edited a page, a new link to Fluffy (wookiee), was there. I suspected it was fanon, and I created the page with a verify tag, figuring that if no source was provided (which is what I expected), it would be deleted. I may have asked the anonymous user who created the page if there was a source. I don't remember. Sorry if I caused you confusion or anything, it was kind of dumb now that I think about it. Deletebecause

Thanks, I didn't know about the "deletebecause" option. I will use it. I explain the reason of deletion of the 2JTJ article. Battle Surgeon talk

Gap in source tags

Hey there. That Jeerick Jvky article that I brought to your attention in the Senate Hall (and you subsequently deleted for being fanon) brought to my attention a sort of lack of a maintenance template for that sort of situation. That's not the first time I've come across an article like that, which had a source listed but was still totally bogus (and I didn't personally own the source to prove it myself). I didn't want to put the {{verify}} tag on it since it would have looked redundant and a casual editor might have just simply deleted that tag right back again, since it had a source listed. I didn't know if there was a place to suggest new maintenance templates, and I figured it'd probably be a good idea to ask an admin's opinion first anyway since you might concider an already-made template appropriate for this, but I came up with User:Wildyoda/Innacurate_test|this as a possible template to use. May need to be reworded, worked on, but that's an idea. Thoughts? Wildyoda 17:48, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

  • This is what {{Verify}} is supposed to be for, actually: we may want another CT thread or something to clarify the issue for all editors. Certainly, if it's meant to do something different from {{Sources}}, the two of them should be obviously different. Plus, we could use a template for articles which are unquestionably canonical, but have added information from a source which may not exist/may have been misinterpreted or misquoted/etc. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:43, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Thanks- I always wondered what the difference was supposed to be between {{Sources}} and {{Verify}}, but even now looking at them, however they were intended to be used, they both pretty much say the exact same thing. Verify says it lacks any, and sources says it needs new or more detailed ones- which would probably be fine if it had a link to the talk page in it. Do you think it's worth bringing up to the community, or should we just use a combination of {{source}} and the watchlist in relevant cases to make sure it's not deleted by someone who thinks it's redundant? Wildyoda 02:39, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
      • I think this could use community input, actually. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:00, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Make the positions temporary, or contingent on continued activity? Give it a friendly Rebellion-inspired name rather than an icky Imperial moniker? I don't know, maybe I'll come up with some serious suggestions for improvement later. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:43, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: JPEG conversion

Our "upload an image page" says that saving a JPEG and reuploading it as a PNG just makes the file size larger, and doesn't improve image quality. Is this not so? If you're asking for a rescan of these images, bear in mind that some of the images may have been scanned by editors here who are no longer active (or, for that matter, were never active, but scanned an image and put it where an editor here could acquire it) so many of the people you're talking to (like MyNz) may not be able to rescan it. So asking for a PNG version may take a while. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:44, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Is that true of SVG too? I know there is software out there for making vector versions of raster maps. Can SVG files be created that way? Will (Talk - contribs) 18:38, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Maybe. I'm not very experienced with image manipulation software. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:17, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Citations

  • Hi, I noticed that you have added citations and a Notes and references section to the Amani article. I like this and was wondering how it is done? For instance the first "citation needed" comes from The New Essential Guide to Alien Species page 7 - how do I go about adding a citation for this? -- Volemlock 13:25, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Well, first off, per Forum:Sourcing revamp and Forum:Sourcing revamp revamp, the page number isn't needed. 8) For the first reference from NEGAS, you would use the tags <ref name="The New Essential Guide to Alien Species">''The New Essential Guide to Alien Species''</ref>. Try it out, you'll see that the HTML in the Notes and references section will automatically generate a footnote. If you want to refer to it again, you can just use <ref name="The New Essential Guide to Alien Species" />. If an entire section can be sourced using the same source, you can put the ref tages inside the {{Ref}} template, as Xwing328 demonstrates in the second thread. (I have also used it in cases where everything in a section can be footnoted with a single source, except for a handful of sentences which need to be specifically footnoted.) I think we're still working on the exact format and standards for sourcing articles, so don't worry if as you source articles, the formatting isn't consistent with other articles just yet. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:43, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Thank you very much for your response - very helpful -- Volemlock 15:01, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Image

Why did you delete the logo?--Herbsewell 13:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I removed the logo from the "lamest thing ever" page at the same time that I changed the link for "Jedi as a religion" from a deleted page to the Jedi census phenomenon page. I thought that the logo you uploaded might have been associated with the "Temple of the Jedi Order (real)" page I deleted: if it is, we don't need it, since it would only be useful on a page which we deleted. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:52, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

images

How do I put an image on my userpage? i checked out the guide, but I have no idea how to include my source.

So how DO you put an image on without having to upload a new one? I can't seem to get the source on there.-Rorwarr 23:13, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

  • You have an image on your userpage already, so I don't understand where your confusion comes in. If you're not sure how to manipulate it, or put it somewhere else, try checking the source code of pages which are already using images in the way you want to (you can do this by clicking the "edit" tab, but not saving your changes. You do not need to upload an image again if it's already been uploaded to this wiki. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:15, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

User needing a ban for breaking the 3-Revert-Rule.

Silly Dan, after warning User:Darth Windu numerous times not to change a paragraph in the "Fighter complement" section of Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, he has continued to do so without first discussing his changes on the talk page of that article. Please ban him for breaking the 3-Revert-Rule. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 14:43, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Jack, he is discussing the changes on the talk page. You'll also note that you're one revert away from violating the 3RR, and just this side of excessively argumentative behaviour: just because you think you're right doesn't mean you can break the rules. I won't block either of you for the time being, though. —Silly Dan (talk) 16:19, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Verpine

Hey, I recently left snippets of questions/comments in the discussion section of the articles for Gand Findsmen and Verpine here at Wookieepdia. I was wondering if:

  1. You could answer my question about Gand Findsmen?
  2. You could make an adjustment to the Verpine article with the information I presented (that is if you think it is valid enough because I'm still to new and apprehensive abot editing articles) Unsigned comment by 72.95.129.50 (talk • contribs)
  • I don't know about the Gand findsmen (not very familliar with them), and I haven't read The Swarm War, but I might add your information to the Verpine article, possibly in the Behind the scenes section. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:08, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

What???

Why do we have a rule on that? It makes no since. I just wanted to make my stories be heard by anyone who looks at my page. I still contribute to the REAL articles more than I do to my user page. Why does it matter how many pictures we have? I am NOT arguing with you, I just don't understand. Quinlanfan 04:16, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

  • The main reason we created both the user page and the user image policy was to discourage people from spending all of their time writing fanfic on their userpage (or, for that matter, writing completely irrelevant gibberish). In order to prevent this, we had to come up with a policy, and apply it fairly and evenly to all users. —Silly Dan (talk) 04:42, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
    • My stuff is not gibberish! does a screne shot apply to the rules? Quinlanfan 13:41, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Sorry, didn't mean to imply it was. Other users were writing overly elaborate off-topic user pages in the past, which is why we set up the policy. As for screenshots, they do count towards your user image limit if and only if they are not being used elsewhere. So if for example you want a picture of your favourite character on your userpage, it's best to use one already appearing in an article. —Silly Dan (talk) 14:21, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
    • It is a picture from Jedi Knight Academy, I was already planning on putting the image in a species gallery. Quinlanfan 15:59, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Did you block me from uploading pictures?! It won't let me upload pictures! Whats up with that??? Quinlanfan 22:08, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I didn't block you. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:36, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Can you find out who blocked me? I never got anything saying that I was blocked. You are the only adminastrator that I've talked to lately. It won't let me upload pictures. Quinlanfan 20:36, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
      • You haven't been blocked since January. Sorry, I have no idea why you can't upload any images. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:44, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
