Welcome to Quinlanfan's talk page! On this page feel free to ask any Star wars questions you have. I will do my best to answer them. Also, you can answer any of my questions!

Okay, your sig is done, and your username is still Quinlanfan, "Grand Admiral Nick Vos" in your sig is just for the sig, it doesn't change your official username. Brain40

  • That's the shortest way I know of. Brain40

I have no idea about any of the rooms. Brain40

Subpages

I see that you've created more than one subpage devoted to fanon. I just want to point out that we only allow one subpage. You need to delete the extra subpages. If you want to make fanon articles, may I suggest the Star Wars Fanon Wiki? Cull Tremayne 00:34, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

  • It's a policy on this site, to cut down on fanfiction, so users will concentrate more on improving the main space pages. You'll have to decide to have one or the other deleted. Your options are to just merge the two or bring them to the SW Fanon wiki which I linked to above. Cull Tremayne 03:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Certainly, Wookieepedia: User page policy. Note: User page fan fiction must be restricted to either the main user page or a single subpage. So now you should understand, it's policy. One must be deleted. Cull Tremayne 03:53, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Absolutely. Also, as I said above, you can still move those articles to the SW Fanon wiki, or just merge the two onto the same page. If neither of those are going to appeal to you, then you'll have to tell me, which one do you want deleted? Or do you want me to just delete both of them? Cull Tremayne 04:00, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
        • You got it. You do still want me to wait 24 hours right? Or have you already copied the article to your computer? Cull Tremayne 04:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
          • Done. Thanks for following policy. Cull Tremayne 21:28, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
  • In addition to the policy on fan-fiction, there is a policy on user images, whereby "No more than 3 images should be uploaded which are intended solely for a userpage". I noticed that you have uploaded quite a number of images for use on your userpage. Some of these will have to go. --Eyrezer 04:03, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Nope, I'm not an admin, but I count five. [Shrug]. --Eyrezer 04:07, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Yes, Eyrezer has it right, it's three images in total. This is not primarily a place for us to play with user pages. The articles are the focus here, after all. Cheers, —Silly Dan (talk) 04:11, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Xizor

  • I believe they were refering to Dash Rendar... I'll check though. And I on;y reverted it once. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 20:29, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I agree it does seem a little ambiguous... hmm. I'll bring it up. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 20:43, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Uh...

I don't think that they are related. At least I don't think so, it may be possible, but I've never read anything saying that they are related. And there is a LEGO set that has the Sail Barge, Sarlacc, skiff, and some characters, but that's all I can think of. And let me ask you this, have you ever heard of kotor? Brain40

  • Really? I've finished both about 5 times (not to be a bragart). I asked because a while back I requested a KOTOR Wiki, and later (a few days ago) it was created and I was made the founder, it is now up and running, with two admins helping a lot, the wiki includes info on everything in both games, the comics, and any other KOTOR-related books, feel free to come by. Brain40

SOTE

Hey, you entered a question on my talk page. I am a BIG Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire fan, and I will be glad to help in any way possible on the SOTE Wiki. I think that is a great idea! I have read the book, I havn't finished playing the game yet, but I will, and I have read two issues of the comic books (I own them so I can upload images from it!). Also, I own two issues of Shadows of the Empire: Evolution. supergeeky1 23:29, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Plus, I have Xizor and Dash Rendar action figures I can upload photos of! supergeeky1 23:37, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you very much! I promise if the wiki goes through, I won't let you down! supergeeky1 01:54, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Quinlanfan, I suggest you go to an administrator and ask them to promote the SOTE wiki, like the merchandise wiki at the top of the pages. It will bring much more people voting and there is a much better chance of it being approved! supergeeky1 02:21, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

I tried making a logo, tell me what ya think. I understand if you don't like it! supergeeky1 02:50, 21 February 2007 (UTC) File:SOTW-logo.jpg|center|200px

I'm glad you like the image! From what you said on my talk page, does that mean I'm still going to be an admin? Even if it doesn't, I'm glad I could help!:) supergeeky1 04:23, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually, no. I used the Paint in the star menu (atleast mine anyway). Plus I downloaded the SOTE font, then erased the Shadows of the Empire logo, and wrote Shadows of the Wiki on it using the font. supergeeky1 04:37, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! I'm really honered not only about the picture, but about the admin thing! supergeeky1 04:40, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

I contacted User:SFH and asked him if he could promote it! I think the votes will be packed and there will be a SOTE wiki! supergeeky1 04:49, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I forgot to use the * thingys before! Would you mind if edited the request page a little so users can better understand everything with it? There seems to be two confused users that have made comments on there already opposing it. supergeeky1 11:57, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Actually, you already did it! I was asking if it would be alright if I organized the request page so users could better understand what it is about, but you already did it! Looks great! supergeeky1 02:02, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
      • I got an idea! What about, instead of calling the users, users, we call them vigos? supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 02:51, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

P.S.--I have a new signature, but it's the same ol' supergeeky1!

        • I love it, Dark Prince! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 04:15, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
          • I've tried asking a few users that are fans of it to help us out. If only we could use the Jedi Mind-trick on the users, we would have the wiki right now! :) supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 10:09, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
            • Quick question, should we get IRC capability for it, if it is started? I think it would be good, though I'm not quite sure how to get it. I'll learn though if you decide weather we should have it! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 13:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
  • By the way, you may want to include the micro-machines that were made and the trading cards. That might boost votes if we made a page on there for each card! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 14:37, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Yeah, I'm not really certain it's gonna get started! Nice idea for the new wiki though, I'll work on an image later on. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 00:51, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

RE: SOTE

I could care less how much it has. And why whine about my comment on my user talk? Isn't that what the request page is for?--Herbsewell 21:25, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

  • 1; It was whining; 2. I wasn't confused; 3. I don't need you to explain anything to me, because I know my opinion, and you're not going to change it.--Herbsewell 22:26, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

On SOTE

Assuming (based on other contributions of that I.P.) that you were 67.72.98.103 and just posted on my talk page, I didn't say that I thought KOTOR wiki was a good idea, but I'm not arguing against it since it already exists. I just think SOTE wiki is a bad idea. If you do get the wiki started, I wish you the best of luck, but the reason I opposed it is that it is my opinion that it is not needed. But it is just that: my opinion. I acknowledge yours, but mine is not changing. Wildyoda 04:23, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Gamer wiki

I thought I should create a new subject on your user page instead of using the old SOTE one. I sent you an email a few minutes ago with a prototype image of a logo. You may only see a few codes on there, I've been having problems with it recently. I've been working on the prototype some more, but unfortunately, I had to make it with a wordpad thing on the computer, and it's not going into my pictures. I'll see what I can do to upload it, I don't know if it's gonna work. If I can't get it to work, I'll print it and scan it back in and send it to my pictures. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 08:50, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

    • Quick questions, are there gonna be cheat codes, easter eggs, etc. on there? I think it would benefit to it if we had those things. P.S.--What do you think about the photo below as the basis of the logo? It would have the little man holding the name of the wiki instead of whatever that is. Also, I would erase the purple on the side, or I could put something in there instead of Lucas Arts. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 10:07, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

center|100px

      • It looks like it's going over very well so far! I think it's gonna happen! P.S.--Check out the transcript of todays Mofference. I was gonna attend, but I fell asleep! It makes nods to you a few times and the KOTOR and SOTE wikis, though not the best kind of nods! (WookieepediaMofference-20070223.pdf|PDF) supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 05:41, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
        • I'm very sorry to rain on your parade Quinlanfan, but the wiki is not going to get passed. We already have a wiki for Star Wars games, at w:c:swgames.
          • I sent you an email with a prototype logo. And the w:c:swgames is a role playing star wars wiki. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 06:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
            • Bad news, they erased it all! It might still get started if we can add something else into it. We already have the ideas for How to play the game and even the easter egss and cheat codes, but we need something else. Meditate on this, I will! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 08:25, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
              • Can we add charcters to the list, like Wookieepedia, but only talk about what happens in the games? Talk about Luke Skywalker, but very little about the movies, and primarily the games? supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 08:31, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
                • I really checked into the wiki. That has to be an RPG wiki, all they talk about on there is Star Wars Diplomacy, and the founder of the wiki, is also a founder of the game itself! It may even be more of a fan site, since they have an Olsen Twins page on there (literally!). So that may, or may not mean we're still in. I'm waiting for a few responses on weather or not we can still have it. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 10:48, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
                  • Would you stop complaining? GHe never said you would become leader of the wiki. I was never on your back about you being banned. You came whining to me first about it when I had nothing to do with it.--Herbsewell 00:18, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
                    • I sent you an email, and I also have begun talking about it on the discussion page of the old page for it and the new page. I've got an idea that we could do to still get it. Instead of it just being about Star Wars games, we change it to Lucas Arts Games. That would include besides Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Thrillvile, Mercinaries, and a lot more. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 06:20, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
                      • GHe never said you were to be the leader. He even restated that on the IRC.--Herbsewell 13:18, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Mofferences

Quinlanfan: I've been going through some different older pages and I saw you had problems going to the Mofferences. You may have solved the problem now, but if you haven't, I can help you. Just bring the problem up on my talk page and I'll be glad to help! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 06:50, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Appologies

I really want to appologize for what happened with Herbsewell! I told StarNeptune about it and I can't say how sorry I am about what has happened! I don't know why everybody thinks you bothered Herbsewell, I obviously did it, I'm so sorry! I don't know if you ever could, but could you please forgive me? supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 15:08, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Lyn Me

Just curious, what was your source for your edit to Lyn Me? It's probably covered by one of the sources already listed, I'm just curious as to which one. Cheers, —Silly Dan (talk) 22:44, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks for explaining that: that's one of the sources I don't own, so I didn't originally use it as a reference in the article. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:52, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

StarNeptunes talk

I followed up questions for you on her talk. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 00:54, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Oh and congrats on the administratorship on the Star Wars Gaming Wiki! I wish you the best! supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 03:51, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I also left a message at the SWGames wiki for you. Please respond as soon as possible. supergeeky1 20px The Cantina 22:07, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

That forum

  • My answer to your requests: yes and no. I agree with you that it should not be here, so I deleted it. That being said, I'm not going to warn everyone about WP:NPA. They should all know that. Any further violations this wiki only can be reported on my talk page, or the Admin's Noticeboard. Any cross-wiki issues should be addressed to the folks at Wikia. Cheers. "Curse words" and your comments to Redemption and Riff

Please be aware that different people have different standards about what constitutes foul language and what doesn't. I think I can speak for the other admins when I say we are not going to block users for using the sort of language which you can say on prime-time television these days (unless it's an insult specifically directed at another user: I did give Redemption a first-level warning for that.) I will, however, not take kindly to users digging through month-old threads for "curse words" and demanding that action be taken against the users in question. Please don't try and stir up trouble about this. In the long run, it generates more heat than light. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:10, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Apologies and Advise

I am very sorry for fighting and "insulting" you in the past which I regret. However, please try not to get into arguments with other members of the community. It only darkens other people's perspectives of you. Knowing that you are heavilly involved with other Star Wars related wikias, I advise that you practise self control and try to be nicer towards other people.

I have read your note on my talk and I understand that I too have been "bad". Please consider this apology and let there be no more emnity or strife between the two of us. Doesn't the Bible say forgive your enemy and be accepting of others though you may disagree with them? MyNz 05:31, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Re: Talk pages

  • Because it's not what talk pages are for. The purpose of a character's talk page is not to discuss the character except as related to the article. Talk pages are not for general questions about a Star Wars character. They are for discussing the article. As I said, the Reference desk would be a much better place to ask those questions. If you don't believe, you can log onto IRC and ask the people there and see what they have to say. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 15:49, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
    • First off, no they haven't. Numerous people have long said on talk pages that they are not to be used for asking general questions about a topic. Second, the "everyone has done it" response is not particularly logical or sound. In other words, you're telling me that if everyone thinks it's okay to rob and kill people, then you should be allowed to rob and kill also. I'm not intending this as an insult, but nothing has changed. Talk pages have never been intended for general discussion, and while that may have happened in the past, it was not supposed to have. I gave you a perfectly good link to place on this site where you can ask that type of question. I highly recommend that you use it, as it was put there to answer questions about general stuff. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:02, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Hmm. Well, I disagree with that block, so I'm going to unblock you. I'm still going to have to insist that you stop asking general questions on the talk pages. I'm not mad at you for asking questions, though I'd like to know why, after I told you to take the question somewhere else on Talk:Aayla Secura, you immediately reposted it below? That shows a disregard for policy and reasonable requests by admins, so please don't do it in the future. Thanks. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 18:22, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

My Name

  • Why do you like my name so much! It isn't really that creative. It's actually kinda contradicting. And also, by the way, I am a Christian. --Darthchristian 18:23, 24 March 2007

comment

Dude. I'm sorry for that whole sig thing. I'm logging out forever now. DarkJedi Robert 21:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Deleted items

Per Wookieepedia policy you can have one fanon subpage and three uploaded images. You had two subpages and four images. There was a notice up for 24 hours letting everyone know that any userpages and images that did not comply with these limits would be deleted. You did not comply. They were therefore deleted. JMAS is incapable of deleting anything as he is not an administrator, and your accusation was out of line. The deletions were conducted according to policy, and your accusation of vandalism was also out of line. Further incivility and/or policy violation will not be tolerated, and will result in an extended block. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 20:19, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Banned

This time you have been banned infinitely! We have advised you in the past not to behave aggressively when you do not get your own way and yet you do not listen. If you join any community, you are expected to integrate and conform to their ways not the other way round. Also, please don't verbally abuse other users like Darth Culator and JMAS. By doing these and claiming that you are a strong Christian, you are making us Christians look bad in the eyes of the world.

The other users must be thinking that we Christians are such a rotten and arrogant lot! Shame on you! I wonder what do you learn at church or sunday school? Doesn't the Bible say love your enemies and forgive others. I am only willing to forgive you if you apologise to everyone you have offended and turn a new leaf. If you do come back, the majority of your edits should be on articles not on talk pages or forums of any kind. MyNz 5:26, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Oh Quinlanfan boy, you have proved yourself to be one of the worse whinners I have encountered in my life. You are just using Christianiaty to cover up your actions and I want to make it clear to you that you are doing Christ's body no good here at all by your brattish and stalkish attitude. Thus, I won't be removing the message from your page at all and if touch it, it will be reverted. I can see that you now operating from an IP address and haggling poor old Darth Culator and the others.

If I was ask to write a comment on you; I would say that you are an arrgoant self-centered and possibly sociopathic stalker and an immature and largely useless person as Culator describes. I bet you spend half of your free time on the Internet. Don't you go to school, church or have an extracurricular activities like sports or a part time job. Come on, you're living in one of the richest and most powerful countries in the world and have 800 miniature sets. Your parents must really be wealthy and they must have spoiled you so much that you can be described as a brat! If your pastor and parents knew what you were up to, they would be furious with you.

So stop trying to argue your case and demanding that you be unblocked. Aren't you an administrator at some remote wikicities. You have also continued to misbehave and harass others outside of Wookieepedia and through Wikia-provided communications. You will never be unblocked ever until the end of time and I hope by then you learn some humility, patience and responsibilty. Other than indulging in Star Wars, also find another hobby whether sports, stamps or model sets.

As Darth Culators says: If you really believed the things you claim to believe, you'd understand that admitting your sins is required before you can receive grace, and you don't seem capable of doing that. Perhaps in time you will learn how to be patient and how to take responsibility for your actions.

So do not ever come back till you have changed your attitude. MyNz 21:00 29 March 2007 (UTC)
