Eye color and affiliation for those under the Abersyn symbiote's or Scourge's control.

I was under the assumption that eye color on a character's page stated the color that their eyes were, if their eyes changed color from their natural color, then it would be listed. Is this not the case when a separate entity inhabiting or altering the body changes the eye color? If they are being controlled by a hive mind, does that not imply that they are affiliated with it, even if unwillingly? I thought the parenthetical (as a vessel) and (under the influence of ...) were enough to clarify that these were the character's eye color and affiliation technically changing without the character's true eye color and affiliation actually changing. They are affiliated, but only as a vessel, and their eyes were purple, but only when infected by the Scourge, etc. Like Luke's eyes are indeed purple when he's under the scourge infection, even if it's because he is infected by the scourge. I would just like clarification on this, especially for droid/cyborg pages where there are plenty of instances of the eye color, sensor color, and affiliation being noted as different when under the Scourge. I would like to remove these instances uniformly throughout all pages to match whatever rule administration thinks is appropriate. What are "da rules" when it comes to the affiliation/eye color/sensor color of characters when under mind altering / eye color altering entities? -MontztheMan02 (talk) 04:31, 30 January 2025 (UTC)

Edit conflict

Hi, I saw you recently contributed to the page of the WESTAR-M5 blaster rifle. I am currently in an edit conflict with another person who has used no less than three different accounts to try to remove the Star Wars Galaxies content in this page. I already put a warning on their talk page page but they look stubborn... Can you pleas have a look? Best, Hk 47 (talk) 12:52, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

  • HI, to clarify the point of multiple accounts, you can see on the page history two different registered users and one anonymous user who performed the same edit in just one or two weeks. Hk 47 (talk) 13:53, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
    • Confirmed via CheckUser, thanks. On the Wook Discord, I have told them to stick to one account, and that if the other account edits again I would block it. They were good faith edits though, and certainly not vandalism. It seems like they have given up for now. For the future, it would be nice if content disputes could be resolved by reasoning via edit summaries or talk pages. OOM 224 15:35, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
      • Thanks, I totally agree with you. I did not do much efforts with them but I did not like how thew immediately switch account to bypass me rather than simply ask me explanation. Best, Hk 47 (talk) 15:48, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

Thankyou!

Thanks for the Welcome! Labyrinthine G0B-L1N (talk) 04:52, 26 February 2025 (UTC)

DookuDarth

Thank you for striving to improve Wookieepedia.

Regarding this edit, did you read my edit summary? Why would we want DookuDarth to look like one word? Maybe it looks different on a computer than a phone (i would expect something like <br> or <br /> to do the job and am surprised it's not adding a line break to what my phone shows), but i can't get to a computer to check right now, and anyway don't we want the site to present information accurately to readers using mobile devices as well as users on computers? When i use my browser's search function it even Finds DookuDarth as an unspaced single word on the page... but only that once, which suggests it's not supposed to be in the article (like a single mention of HansSolo is probably a typo of Han Solo).

Wishing you safe, happy, productive editing, and may the Force be with us. --173.67.42.107 19:25, 17 March 2025 (UTC)

SWTOR NPCs

Hi, why did you remove the affiliation of those SWTOR 7.5 NPCs? Best, Hk 47 (talk) 19:20, 31 March 2025 (UTC)

  • Heya. The reason for that is we generally don't—and now per policy no longer—add affiliations defined by enslavement to the infobox. The second affiliation, of being part of a rebel movement, also isn't really an affiliation since the pipelinked article is a topic about an event rather than a group. Protection

Svvelt Anor also deserves protection thanks.

  • Done. Thanks for the heads-up! OOM 224 10:40, 14 April 2025 (UTC)

Cannon sleds in the battle of hoth

Why did you undo my addition in the Battle of Hoth page? The cannon sleds appear in the movie, they should be featured in the page as well.Unsigned comment by Penta01 (talk • contribs)

  • Based on the cannon sled article, it doesn't seem like the sleds were actually fighting in the battle, were they? OOM 224 20:50, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
  • They were in the front lines when the battle started, I don't think its unrealistic to think they were used for combat. Also, many other units that did not fight in the actual battle are included, like C3PO, Darth Vader or the GR-75 transports. Lego has them as a battle vehicle as well, although Im aware thats not canon.Unsigned comment by Penta01 (talk • contribs)
  • Ah, okay. I was primarily concerned it was speculation, but if they were there at the time, then that's alright. OOM 224 13:53, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
  • No, they actually appear in the background of the movie in a few shots

Admin Code of Conduct Workshop

Hello! We’re putting together a new live workshop on Fandom’s Admin Code of Conduct (mentioned here!), & we’d love your help testing it out!

This workshop will go over the policy in more detail, including how to interpret some of the vaguer sections. Since this is our first run, we’re inviting Stars to join a trial session and give us feedback on what works, what could be better, & anything in between.

There will be two trial sessions to choose from:

Friday, June 27 at 10am Central Time
Monday, June 30 at 2pm Central Time

Please convert to your time zone here: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

If you’d like to attend one of the sessions, please RSVP by June 26 using this form: https://forms.gle/DveooDfTpQezWWB49

Thank you, & we hope to see you there! pikushi ✧.* 19:56, 23 June 2025 (UTC)

Why did you change it?

Why did you change what I did to those images?

Fair use template

This category comes with the Fairuse template? So what am I supposed to tag it under in the cat type?

Could you add something to the reverts to explain why you're doing them?

I've put a message in the edit for a reason, so that if someone reverts, they can explain why they're doing it or simply understand and not revert. I think it's as simple as that: COMMUNICATION (word emphasis, not to be confused with yelling). This way, we could all live together better without less toxicity on wikis. Thanks.

The case is with elephantine species. I've put this: Like canines, felines, and equines, elephantine species are mammals, and just as these three subgroups are classified within mammals, elephantine species should follow the same rule.

  • When I make a rollback edit without an edit summary, it is usually because the information is unsourced and it has been explained to the other person that information can't be unsourced. OOM 224 10:56, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Well, that's not the case. I just added all the DOCUMENTED, CITED, and EVIDENCED elephantine species to the "Elephantine sentient species" category, and yet you've reverted my changes without any explanation, even though I've made it very clear that it says so in the article and is cited. In other words, reverting this is a serious mistake, since IT IS CITED. I'm sure you're only following my edits; you've literally only reverted me in the last few hours, nothing more. Please STOP. I'm not happy that even things I do correctly are being reverted.

PS: It seems you're finally coming to your senses. Thank you so much. You have no idea how frustrating it is when someone more powerful than you is so outspoken against you; now you've proven that righting things is wise. I'm sorry if I've been annoying, but injustices are infuriating. Thank you so much for coming to your senses!

  • As I said on Cade's talk page, Wookieepedia articles are not reliable sources. The articles that I have just edited were using citations improperly—the screenshot File:LelandChee-Elephantine-IG.png that the reference notes refer to only designates some species as elephantine. Banned account

Hey there, about 6 months ago my account (Bespashin) was banned due to an edit war regarding Dengar’s affiliation to the New Republic from the subplot in the Aftermath trilogy. I was wondering when the ban is set to expire. I was sent a private message a while back on social media from a friend of mine who has a role with you, giving me a heads up that people up there were wanting to ban me because they didn’t like my personality, and if that’s true, that’s unfortunate, but I don’t think it would be fair to deny that my decisions always came from a genuine love for maintaining the site, and I have always been there to make valuable contributions where nobody else steps up. For years, Lando’s role in TROS was always in his biography as a vague few lines that in all reality would fit in the top section next to his infobox, until I detailed absolutely everything from the film and novel that I was able to split into three decently sized sections appropriate for Wookieepedia standards. Similarly, it’s been three years since Ahsoka Season 1 released, and nobody has bothered to write anything for Ahsoka’s page. The only thing on the page is a detailed account of her story in the first two episodes that was written entirely by me. Before that there was pretty much nothing on her page, and since then only one paragraph has been added. There are still 5 episodes missing 3 years on. I’m unable to access my own page at the minute, to see what was last said, so hoping it’s okay to leave this on your talk page to see what updates there are for the ban. Many thanks in advance!

  • I appreciate your intentions to improve the wiki, but your ban is indefinite because you have continually disregarded policies, guidance, warnings, and a previous block on adding unsourced information and edit-warring with other contributors over them. OOM 224 12:22, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
