Welcome, Naberria!
|
Hello, Naberria, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:
New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, you can consult our FAQ, ask a question in the Senate Hall forum, visit our official IRC channel, or leave me a message on my talk page. |
Correct tense
We always write in-universe articles in the past tense, just so you know. --Rakhsh (talk) 16:51, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
Canon info on Legends pages
Hello, please do not put any information that is considered canon only on a Legends page, the stuff in the sequel trilogy is considered canon only therefore it doesn't go on a Legends page. Thanks--Lewisr (talk) 17:36, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
- No worries, its all good! Some of those Legends pages don't have canon counterparts so I guess I can see why you might've added the info to it --Lewisr (talk) 17:48, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
Editing
When creating a reference, there's no need for the <em> tag. Use the double apostrophe to italicize text. Also, use the actual book instead of the in-universe book as the reference. Thank you. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 17:45, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
Interlang
Hi, please format your edits correctly while adding a link into the interlang template. As you can read in the {{Interlang}} page you only need to add the name of the article not the entire link. Also per Consensus Wookieepedia only link to Jedipedia.net not Jedipedia.fandom.com, you can read the consensus here. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:38, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
- Additionally, items in the interlang template are to be listed in alphabetical order according to language. Your most recent edit here is misordered, for example. Please adjust your edits accordingly. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:11, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
Sourcing
Hey. You don't have to attribute a separate citation to an individual page number in a novel or suchlike. Just cite the entire novel as one source. Take a look at Telkur to see what I mean. OtterSurf (talk) 11:55, September 13, 2019 (UTC)
TOR edits
Hello Naberria! Thanks for your edits on TOR-related articles! Please note that "timeless" article subjects, such as planets, should not specify publishing eras in the {{Top}} template. Cheers, Imperators II(Talk) 15:36, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. You're doing it again. Please don't. Imperators II(Talk) 15:56, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
- Also please don't bold a subject's name outside of its first mention in the article, write everything in the past tense, and note that the name of the section where reference list is produced should be "Notes and references", not just "References". Thank you, Imperators II(Talk) 16:31, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
- Hi there! I'd like to offer my own gratitude for TOR contributions, as that is an area in need of serious work and all help is welcome. However, please pay attention to what you're putting in articles, sometimes it makes no sense. For example, your recently created article Scraaz identifies the subject as also being mentioned as part of a crew skill mission, but the infobox provide eye and skin color, which makes no sense. Also, the body says he betrayed the Exchange, but the infobox has it under "Affiliations". I haven't done any slicing crew skill missions myself, so I don't know what's correct and what isn't, but I can tell there's some clearing up that needs to be done. Thanks, Fan26 (Talk) 19:37, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
- Also, please look at this to see how to format ref notes properly. Thanks. Fan26 (Talk) 19:39, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
- If he worked for the exchange but then betrayed them, you should put {{C|Formerly}}. Also, even if the majority of a species is shown to have one skin, hair, or eye color, it is never appropriate to assume. If you have any other questions to ask, please feel free to ask. Fan26 (Talk) 14:31, October 4, 2019 (UTC)
- Hi again. Please remember to always sign your comments by typing
~~~~. Cheers, Imperators II(Talk) 15:41, October 4, 2019 (UTC)- You literally need to type four tildes (~), like this:
~~~~after each your comment. Those four tildes then automatically convert to your username and timestamp. For further information, see our Signature policy. Actually, you should familiarize yourself with all the policies kindly linked to in the Welcome template at the top of this page. Hope this helps, Imperators II(Talk) 19:35, October 4, 2019 (UTC)

Goto = G0-T0
Given that "Goto" is the alias of G0-T0, we should probably move the key info from Goto (Crime lord) to G0-T0. --Rakhsh (talk) 19:50, October 4, 2019 (UTC)
Re:Undo
If it's a german pronoun that indicates it as female, my guess is that it belongs in the BtS rather than the article body or the infobox. Fan26 (Talk) 16:22, October 5, 2019 (UTC)
Promencius Four
Hello! All you need to do is just create a Legends page for Promencius Four, so if you click here you can make the page, let me know if you need any help --Lewisr (talk) 18:29, October 5, 2019 (UTC)
Ref notes
FYI, this is how you want to be laying out ref notes. The first ref-the one with the info-generally goes in the first infobox information field with something in it, with "<ref name="Mission"/>" everywhere else that specific reference note is needed. Fan26 (Talk) 19:11, October 5, 2019 (UTC)
Galactic War
Hey Naberria. For pages like Iope or Feris, if they're mentioned in a crew skill new to Shadow of Revan, then whatever it describes actually happens during the Galactic War. Events such as the Revanite crisis, Invasion of Ziost, and Eternal Empire raids all still happen during the Galactic War. The conflict only ends with the Eternal Empire conquest. Thanks. Fan26 (Talk) 14:43, October 6, 2019 (UTC)
Also, when adding a TOR expansion to the "Appearances" section of an article, please use Template:TOR. That way instead of "''[[Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne]]'', you have "{{TOR|Knights of the Eternal Throne}}". Fan26 (Talk) 15:18, October 6, 2019 (UTC)
Forgotten Terrace
Hey Naberria, is the Forgotten Terrace where the Temple of Sacrifice is located? Fan26 (Talk) 14:43, October 10, 2019 (UTC)
