Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Canon info on Legends pages

Hello, please do not put any information that is considered canon only on a Legends page, the stuff in the sequel trilogy is considered canon only therefore it doesn't go on a Legends page. Thanks--Lewisr (talk) 17:36, September 3, 2019 (UTC)

Editing

When creating a reference, there's no need for the <em> tag. Use the double apostrophe to italicize text. Also, use the actual book instead of the in-universe book as the reference. Thank you. <-Omicron^{(Leave a message at the BEEP!)} 17:45, September 3, 2019 (UTC)

Interlang

Hi, please format your edits correctly while adding a link into the interlang template. As you can read in the {{Interlang}} page you only need to add the name of the article not the entire link. Also per Consensus Wookieepedia only link to Jedipedia.net not Jedipedia.fandom.com, you can read the consensus here. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:38, September 3, 2019 (UTC)

Sourcing

Hey. You don't have to attribute a separate citation to an individual page number in a novel or suchlike. Just cite the entire novel as one source. Take a look at Telkur to see what I mean. OtterSurf (talk) 11:55, September 13, 2019 (UTC)

- Also please don't bold a subject's name outside of its first mention in the article, write everything in the past tense, and note that the name of the section where reference list is produced should be "Notes and references", not just "References".   - Hi there! I'd like to offer my own gratitude for TOR contributions, as that is an area in need of serious work and all help is welcome. However, please pay attention to what you're putting in articles, sometimes it makes no sense. For example, your recently created article Scraaz identifies the subject as also being mentioned as part of a crew skill mission, but the infobox provide eye and skin color, which makes no sense. Also, the body says he betrayed the Exchange, but the infobox has it under "Affiliations". I haven't done any slicing crew skill missions myself, so I don't know what's correct and what isn't, but I can tell there's some clearing up that needs to be done.         You literally need to type four tildes (~), like this: ~~~~ after each your comment. Those four tildes then automatically convert to your username and timestamp. Ref notes

FYI, this is how you want to be laying out ref notes. The first ref-the one with the info-generally goes in the first infobox information field with something in it, with "<ref name="Mission"/>" everywhere else that specific reference note is needed. Fan26 (Talk) 19:11, October 5, 2019 (UTC)

Galactic War

Hey Naberria. For pages like Iope or Feris, if they're mentioned in a crew skill new to Shadow of Revan, then whatever it describes actually happens during the Galactic War. Events such as the Revanite crisis, Invasion of Ziost, and Eternal Empire raids all still happen during the Galactic War. The conflict only ends with the Eternal Empire conquest. Thanks. Also, when adding a TOR expansion to the "Appearances" section of an article, please use Template:TOR. That way instead of "''[[Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne]]'', you have "{{TOR|Knights of the Eternal Throne}}". Fan26 (Talk) 15:18, October 6, 2019 (UTC)
