Welcome, Matthias777!Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —SFH 20:05, December 10, 2011 (UTC) |
Re: Appearances
For source books, such as the Galaxy Guides, you don't need to add it into the "Appearances" section. I used to do the same thing, until I was told otherwise. Appearances are limited to novel, comic, show, movie, game, etc, whereas sources are any source material, like the magazines, gaming books, strategy guides, character encyclopedias, etc. Hope that clears up some confusion! :) Trak Nar Ramble on 21:20, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
Re:2 ABY
Hello Matthias! Regarding the sources, Star Wars Adventure Journal x shouldn't be put in the "Sources" section - the individual stories should be put in the "Appearances" section instead. Regarding the punctuation, I'm not an expert in the field, I'm just maintaining consistency with status article formatting. Imperators II(Talk) 19:41, December 16, 2011 (UTC)
Talk pages
Hey! Just a heads-up that you can't remove talk page content, even your own, as it needs to preserved as a public record. Yes, that includes the Welcome message. ;) Cheers. Menkooroo (talk) 08:16, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
Dolla system
The information was deleted because it is not needed. Dolla should never have been moved to Dolla system in the first place. There is no mention of a "Dolla system" whatsoever in Galaxy Guide 10 - Dolla system was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas. The recreation of Dolla - the term used in Galaxy Guide 10 as a separate article has eliminated the need for the BTS note altogether. - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 19:50, February 7, 2016 (UTC)
Ciders
No problem--I've had much worse cross-edits! :) I don't know about Cider/Legends aside from looking up Jaffa cider in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, but that source didn't specify it as alcoholic; I don't know about the second source for it yet. But canon Cider, I researched! Of the canon ciders, Spice Runner Hard Cider is alcoholic, Spiced Surabat Cider has a non-alcoholic and a spiked version, and Fruit cider doesn't indicate if it is or isn't. I'm not sure that splitting the category is warranted when there are so few, but maybe there are some others not yet categorized? Immi Thrax

- Whoops, I fell asleep without replying to you! Thank you too for the fact-checking! I think I reworded the first sentence of Cider/Legends poorly—would you mind taking a look and seeing if you can improve it? :) Immi Thrax
