Spice Runner Hard Cider was an alcoholic cider served on tap at Oga's Cantina in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu[2] The dark red hard cider was named after spicerunners who smuggled spice throughout Batuu's region in the galaxy.[3] It was a favorite beverage of Salju, the proprietor of Black Spire Station, and it was local to the area.[1]

In 34 ABY,[4] Salju visited Oga's Cantina with Resistance spy Vi Moradi on the day that Moradi arrived on Batuu, and both human women drank the foamy beverage. Moradi appreciated how it immediately warmed and relaxed her.[1]

Behind the scenes

Spice Runner Hard Cider is one of the alcoholic beverages that debuted at Oga's Cantina bar in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when the theme park opened in 2019. It is a 5.0% ABV hard apple cider that is brewed by the Angry Orchard cider company and served on tap at the bar.[5]
