Imperial rank plaques personal project

Hi, why have you deleted 2 of my rank plaques, when I've explicitly mentioned this:"My attempt at bring some order to the Imperial Rank insignia plaques, using canon plaques and known ranks, legends ranks to known canon plaques and logic. I'M STILL ADJUSTING references, sources, etc, in my spare time."???? In both cases, I've added the sources from where I've taken inspiration/confirmation of the rank and their respective plaque and code cylinders. Additionally, if you removed 2, why didn't you removed all of them, since it would go against the reason you gave to delete them?

Hi Imperators, Wookieepedia isn't very intuitive, and I'm still learning. Lewisr, has been very supportive and has been helping me a lot (thanks once again, Lewisr).

About the rank insignias, you've mentioned the word "falsified" and I find it a bit extreme, as if I was committing a crime. I would agree with 100%, if I was doing/creating any mess in actual Wookieepedia's articles, but I'm not, I'm using my own personal page, in order to create a visual reference, with the utmost canonicity concern in mind. Granted, I'm not using pictures taken from comics, films, etc. I'm merely recreating them, and compiling them. I use references/sources to each of them, to justify/attest/prove that each rank plaque is canon, and not made up by me.

Additionally, I've taken care to explain exactly what I was doing in the Intro of that page. I had a tremendous amount of work/effort in doing all those plaques, and you now shatter my enthusiasm, by saying that I can only upload up to 3 pictures of my own making (correct and forgive me, if I misunderstood).

I kindly ask you to reconsider and support me on this. I agree that rules should be followed, but sometimes it isn't just black or white.

PS: I've added my signature as requested. I also would like to ask you, please, if we could talk via discord, because, this "email" sort of communication isn't, again, very intuitive, and we lose precious time writing all of these texts. My user is Sistros#7101.

Nash and Lys's Gender

Chiss Defense Fleet and Chiss Expansionary Fleet

Which source treats Chiss Expansionary Fleet and Chiss Defense Fleet as suborganizations of CEDF (Fleet not Force?) instead of Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet being synonym for Chiss Expansionary Fleet and Chiss Defense Fleet being a separate entity? They seem to have different legal and property segments in Outbound Flight, so it would be surprising they're under the same roof and not just two parts of broader Chiss military or Ascendancy military --Goodmind (talk) 09:25, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

The conjunction of both the Atlas and Outbound Flight. The latter uses Defense Fleet for Pesfavri, makes a clear distinction between Expansionary Fleet and Defense Fleet, and also uses Expansionary Defense Fleet - but without explicitly associating the latter with Thrawn's unit exclusively. The Atlas uses just Expansionary Defense Fleet and uses it for Pesfavri, while at the same time noting that the CEDF was made up of two "elements" which clearly references the two fleets from Outbound Flight. So the novel gives a more specific affiliation for Pesfavri, while the Atlas gives a broader one - no contradiction. Imperators II^(Talk) 09:31, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

Apostrophes and quotes

Thank you very much for the compliment! And about the Microsoft and regular apostrophes and quotes, I meant to fix that years ago (2021) but life got in the way and I kinda forgot about it, sorry. As to how to change them, I don’t know how to. I have a otter iPad. Do you know how and can you please tell me, or do I have to take it to a electronics shop?

Also, with doing Ref names and initials, that is hard and confusing, because with how much media with Star Wars that exists, what word(s) and initials accurately describe what I’m writing about, or do I just try my best? And if I try my best, is there any chance it screws it up, it gets lost, or I get in trouble with a administrator?

All I want, is to contribute to Wookieepidea as best as I can, thank you very much!

Can I ask you a favor. Can you add sources to the summaries of Turbolaser, Laser cannon and Light repeating blaster. And add sources to Model and Type, of the info box, of Light repeating blaster. Can you do that so I can add them to Starships and source them in Blaster rifle and Repeating blaster. I know how to source things, but I don't know how to add sources to things that don't have sources. If you can thanks.

Sector/systems

Hello, Imp! Long time no speak. I would like for us to talk about that current practice we follow, where canon star systems and sectors that share names aren't the same thing unless said so. Right now, I don't really remember the reasoning behind why we do this, but why we do the opposite for systems and planets that share names. It does help a little bit, but I have an idea on how to better organize our planet categories. As you might've noticed, I've been organizing Category:Starships of the Galactic Empire, and I thought of finding different ways to make navigation better for more categories, including those like Category:Galactic Empire planets and Category:Outer Rim Territories planets with Category:Galactic Empire planets in the Outer Rim Territories and Category:Outer Rim Territories planets in the Slice, respectively. Re: Maps in Battles

Sorry, I don't have a copy on me. I was only aware of the original 2021 print run but noticed a local store had a new SW display a few weeks ago and when flipping through noticed that the interior had a 2023 print date not 2021 and that the maps in the First Order section utilised the same assets as the Galaxy Map. I could see if they still have some copies. Was there a particular section you want me to check? LadyNeret (talk) 05:42, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

They may also have been printed/manufactured in China. I usually avoid purchasing those as since Disney took over anything printed in China tends to be of poor quality and not last as long. A number of my Visual dictionaries, etc. have had the clear top layer peel completely off for example. LadyNeret (talk) 05:44, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

Space station template

Hi Imperators II, I noticed you reverted my edit to Template:Space station. In case you weren't aware, Administrator User:Spookywilloww left a message on my talk page instructing me how to procede with templates in the future but agreed that the change was probably needed. I hardly see it as adding a "laundry list" to the template. Rather it was just filling in one necessary missing field to the template. From top to bottom these are the primary and only real necessary orbits within the galaxy (other than potentially a black-hole or asteroid) but I'm yet to come across any pages that currently have a station orbiting them. That is as far as I could possibly see it going.

Perhaps you'd like to start the consensus track? I was planning on updating all the space stations orbiting a sun in their respective systems but cannot do so with the template in its present state. LadyNeret (talk) 08:02, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

Besides, I'm not entirely sure those fields represent "orbital" location anyway. And some stations don't even orbit said body, instead they are in a fixed location near said object. By having those 6 specific locations available in the template makes it easier to be more accurate/specific about the stations placement. LadyNeret (talk) 08:13, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

The Deep Core and Unknown Regions routes get frequently mentioned as dissolving. I haven't seen if routes ever get restored or if they just create new ones instead, so at least one of those fields would work fine --Goodmind (talk) 03:16, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
