AT-AT Length

I do not understand how the established length for the AT-AT can be considered 20 meters based on 1) a video game guide and 2) The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, when those original values have all but been abandoned. You can't change the height without changing the length in the same proportion or else you are just distorting the proportions of the actual vehicle.

Evax

I'm pretty sure you can source Evax being Human to the CCG card. Even if we ignore the image, the icon in the upper left corner of the card says that in-game he's of Imperial Archetype. If he was a non-Human, he would have an alien icon instead. See card of Djas Puhr, Hem Dazon and Greeata for examples. MauserComlink 12:37, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Well, you can say I'm sort of the expert in the CCG then. And I say that even though some later source may retcon him as a Clawdite, the original source in which he appeared clearly stated him as Human. MauserComlink 04:00, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Needa images

Sorry these took so long. I'm still rebuilding my software setup after a reformat and forgot I didn't have my usual media player/capture program installed yet. Argyus

Hey Tranner. I thought I'd give you some info from Argyus's entry in TCW Ultimate Battles. What's not mentioned here is already info that I know for sure has already been mentioned.

"Men bearing the Arguys name have served the Senate for generations. The family is famous on Coruscant for its honor and prestige. But Faro Argyus long ago lost his faith in the Republic; he then lost his faith in himself, agreeing to betray his fellow Commandos and to serve the Separatists."

"Armed in Azure": he has a Senate emblem on his shoulder pad, blaster magazines on his belt. That thing sticking out of his helmet is a ceremonial crest.

Hope that helps. Also, Tuuk's not in there at all. CC7567 (talk) 08:14, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I had not realized it was a nominated article when I made the edit. I'm curious though, why are articles not locked when nominated if a particular author has "dibs" while it's up for nomination? I would think that undoing all changes is effectively the same thing, and I thought I had seen a method of locking a page while under major edits. I'm still pretty new at this stuff, so I'm not sure about some of the methodology. 20px fodigg(talk) | 15:09, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

About Fanon warning

Hi, Grand Moff Tranner, I realise I was given a warning about adding fanon to the site simply for making an obviuos conclusion on the Galduran Calrissian talk page and then editing his infobox's biography to state that he may have been a human by writing in the species box "Human (assumingly)". I'm not bothered about this issue anymore, what I was wondering is whether the fanon warning on my discussion page will ever be removed as I think it was a pretty harsh reaction. P.S. I would have replied sooner but I've been pre-occupied with something very important over the las two days. I look froward to your response. --User:AdmiralEgbo(AdmiralEgbo 01:20, 29 August 2009 (UTC))

Unidentified Sith

For your consideration: There is further information to corroborate that this Sith was a Sith Warrior. On the SWTOR website, the news update announcing the release of the Deceived Trailer states that the strongest Sith Warriors were sent to destroy the planet’s defense grid mainframe hidden in the heart of the Jedi Temple. Add to that the new wallpaper on the site which looks identical to this Sith and it seems pretty conclusive that he was a Sith Warrior. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 17:28, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

2.5 Added sources/appearances removed

Great Holocron Appearances was recently edited/removed from the page. The Two appearances were Star Wars: Battlefront II and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (video game)

Star Wars: Battlefront II has a mission called, "Knightfall" in which you play troopers (and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker). One of the later mission objectives is to "Secure two holocrons," one of which (albeit much smaller) is shaped like the Great Holocron. As far as I know, it was never referenced as the Great Holocron, but I believe it was alluding to the possibility of the Great Holocron being secured by the Emperor during the Knightfall operation.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (video game) (Jedi Temple Mission Pack DLC) featured Starkiller (Galen Marek) going to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to learn more about his past and being a Jedi. Upon clearing a statue that was blocking the path and creating a bridge from warped debris, Starkiller finds himself is a dimly lit corridor. At the end of this corridor is the Great Holocron. Kento Marek's spirit appears from either behind or possibly from within the holocron.

While Battlefront's appearance may have just been development choice to use that shape and may not have been the Great Holocron, I feel that Force Unleashed's appearance was nothing but the actual Great Holocron; specifically because of it's placement, size, appearance, and that it forced Starkiller to go through his own set of Jedi Trials, including facing a darkside Doppleganger. However, due the fact that the Jedi Temple was DLC and not part of the original storyline, it is most likely not Canonical.

I can obtain screenshot's of these two appearances in this video games if needed.

I'm new to editing Wookieepedia (first edit was the SW:TFU great holocron appearance), but I have been a huge fan since I was a child. My expertise is in the video game side of things, which is why I'm certain of these appearances(more SW:TFU than Battlefront)

I appologize if this was not the correct place to send this message. As I said, I'm new to editing Wookieepedia, and any advice would be helpful.

Hey Man

Thanks for responding to my question. I just got another question for you. I always wondered why it takes so long for Lucasbooks to elaborate on some of our favorite characters. Such examples are Cronal, and Darth Andeddu. But even after the Darth Andeddu issue of Legacy they never elaborated on when he initially lived. Why do they do that? Is there some purpose that Yoda's species is not known? Do they have a plan when they make a Character Dissappear, or do they just make it up as they go? Cause I got a feeling that someone as cool as cronal will just fade away without anymore influence on the galaxy. Is this a question better suited for an administrator or are you cool with helping me out here? User:Revanthereformer1138

Unidentified Jedi's skin color

Hi. I was wondering whether you have a particular reason for removing the skin color (again) from the Ven Zallow article. Since the infobox has the skin color field and there really is no dispute about the character being a light-skinned Human (or is there?), why shouldn't the skin color be displayed in the infobox? Or are you against using the word "light"? I've seen it being used in many of our articles depicting people with so-called Caucasian features, the other alternative being "fair". Would that be better? This is not a huge issue for me, it just strikes me as odd that you don't have any problems adding hair and eye color, but for some reason skin color seems to be off limits. :) Cheers, Tinwe 09:34, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

  • I see. But does that give you the right to remove it if someone else wants to add it? People here don't own the articles they promote to GA or FA status after all, even though it is understandable that they feel protective of them and want to keep track of the changes others make. I was under the impression that if the canonical information is available and there is a field for it in the infobox, it should be added. Well, maybe it's not so much a strict rule as it is an established convention, but I still don't see how adding said information would diminish the article in any way. If we go down the road of not adding available information in the infobox, why stop at skin color? Tinwe 08:06, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Yularen

Once again, I am sorry if you felt it was a personal attack. It really was not intended as such. I do understand your reasoning for wanting it there. With that in mind, might I suggest replacing the {{inuse}} tag with the {{wip}} tag at the head of the article. As Yularen will be a work in progress as long as TCW is in production, the WIP template is more fitting and doesn't forbid any editing like the inuse template does. Then it's just a matter of remaining diligent, as I already know you are, to make sure no bad/fanon/unsourced/etc edits get made to it in the meantime while allowing for useful constructive edits. WP:TCW

Hello everyone, this is CC7567 from WookieeProject The Clone Wars. It is currently six months after the project was started, and the number of individual projects is steadily growing. While I am happy that so many of you are writing for the WookieeProject, the majority of articles there have been sitting there for months. Several users even have ten projects or more at the moment, and I am frankly just disappointed at the level of inactivity that is befalling our articles. I understand that many of you have other obligations, and while I respect that, the responsibility falls to you to judge whether or not you're still capable of writing all of these articles, whether in time or in energy. For this reason, I once again urge you to reconsider your current projects. The criteria should be that you have the unrelenting intent to finish all of your projects within the next month. I myself have had to reconsider my own projects on account of real-life time constraints. I do not want to have to set a limit to the number of projects per user, but if it comes down to that, I will, because I do not want to see the project deteriorate and hope that you do not want to either. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 19:18, October 31, 2009 (UTC)
