Hello?

Hi... you added and then deleted a comment on my userpage. I guess my only question is: do I want to know? --McEwok 13:58, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

  • It wasn't derogatory. I wanted to tell you I'm in your camp on the whole Saxton thing, but it looks like the guy has snuck his BS into the canon through picture books. However, I didn't want to start a Talkpage debate on your page, because I didn't want everyone to think I was completely affiliated with you, so I deleted the comment. I must warn you, and everyone out there, against Fan Speculation. Wait it out; a book or even a movie may prove you right or wrong soon enough, and you'll regret ever telling anyone what you thought the deal was. -- Graestan 16:52, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the advice. No worries—but just for clarification, I try to distinguish between my own ideas (which I'm well aware are just mine, and which I have no desire to impose on anyone) and my opinion that existing canon should be respected and accurately represented (which is a position that can be challenged, sure, but it isn't quite "fan speculation"). That said, I do see the gist of what you're saying. Thanks! --McEwok 03:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

CIV Table

Hi! I told Xwing328 that I would set up a master schedule for our CIV table, to ensure that someone is always covering the table. It's over on my talk page (Manning the CIV Table). You mentioned that you could be available either Saturday or Sunday. I have slots open on both days from 1-4pm, if one of those works for you. You're also welcome to show up at any other time and relieve someone else. --Bobvitas 13:27, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Fanon...and the draft scripts

It's interesting that you brought up the fanon issue. I was pretty casual about Wookieepedia, but I enjoy literary (and cinematic) research. I was reading The Making of Star Wars and thought to add a few things to the relevant articles... typed in "Granicus"... it redirected to Supershadow. I couldn't let him get the last word on one of Lucas' inventions... I kind of went head first then. What I'm hoping to do is allow people to discriminate fanon based on his drafts from the drafts themselves. I think (and this is just an intuition) that much of the wind is out of fanon regarding the drafts, now that we actually have the prequels. What's interesting to me is how much Lucas re-used. Funny that all the fanon writers didn't have the faintest idea what or how. Thanks for your comments, & Cheers :) --Jeffbacca 16:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Wookiee-Cookiee

Wookieecookie
Riffsyphon1024 has awarded you a Wookiee Cookie!
This is for creating all those starfighter parts like the sensors that were just creating unsightly redlinks on said pages. In fact those articles are the whole reason hyperinclusionism belongs on Wookieepedia!

Re:Dia Dhuit

  • Thanks a million for all your help. There is one more thing you can do: have a go at organizing the appearances section in chronological order (it shouldn't be too hard, it's already somewhat in order). If you could do that it would be a great help. Slan, -- 40pxdmirableAckbar (It's A Trap!) 12:13, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks!

Hey Grae, I thought you deserved this for all the copy-edits that you've done for my FAN's and GAN's. This is also being awarded because those copy-edits are *good*, and you don't hesitate when I ask you. Thanks bud, Greyman(Paratus) 01:30, 31 August 2007 (UTC) [[:File:Tramp freighter cross.png|thumb|200px|The Tramp Freighter Cross is awarded to Graestan for his outstanding copy-edits and cleanups on articles when asked.]]

  • I'd like to second that statement. And on a related note, I've finished the expansion on Memit Nadill, so it's ready for another copy-edit it you are up to it. :) -- 40pxdmirableAckbar (It's A Trap!) 20:22, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Crado

Hello! I take you saw my edit about Crado's name being changed in the french version quite suspiciously, which is quite a normal attitude I think. Nonethelesse, I'm NOT a fanon maker. Would an excerpt of this french comics, along with its references be fine to prove I was not telling oddities? Here it is: http://storage.canalblog.com/75/29/145375/17271416.jpg "Star Wars Légendes des Jedi: la Guerre des Sith", Dark Horse France, 1996, ISBN 2- 84164-070-1

Bye!LelalMekha 19:22, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

  • No offense was meant, my friend. I was merely following a precedent I've seen where trivia is removed, especially on Featured Articles. In fact, I've specifically seen trivia referring to translation issues removed on articles like Pil Diller. I believe you, and I do know some French, so their choice to change his name makes sense to me. Feel free to revert my edit if you like.—Graestan 20px (This party's over) 19:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
    • No offense taken either on my side. ;)

If you think it is wiser not to mention it according to some policies on featured article, I'll follow your piece of advise. LelalMekha 19:45, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

      • It's less of a policy than a guideline, and even then it's based solely on precedent. Don't fool yourself for a minute that I make the rules. At any rate, I wasn't trying to ruin your work or anything.—Graestan 20px (This party's over) 20:12, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
        • I perfectly understand. This is absolutely no argument ;). And I know you don"t make the rules, don't worry about that. :)

Have a nice night -tought it might not be night in the USA yet- LelalMekha 20:34, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Children of the Jedi

How can it be called a duology when it is a three book series? Even if someone wrote the middle book, that would either still make it a trilogy, or you couldn't call it a duology either as it doesn't claim to be a direct continuation of Children of the Jedi, and Anderson's takes place in the middle continuity wise and with release dates, so it's not a case where someone is writing a book set in between novels either. Livingston File:Jedi Order2.jpg|25px (The Force will be with you. Always.) 03:20, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

  • There wasn't a "middle book." Darksaber isn't about the same things as the other books, and was written in a completely different plotline. Furthermore, the books were not released as a trilogy, but rather as individual books. They are never sold together, and it's actually a stretch to call the Hambly books a duology, as they weren't authorized together.—Graestan 20px (This party's over) 03:30, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
    • Well that was my point. If you can't call it a trilogy, you can't call it a duology either, as the two from Hambly aren't really any more of a series than the one from Anderson. Livingston File:Jedi Order2.jpg|25px (The Force will be with you. Always.) 05:28, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the cookie. I was going to work on the Thon article, and I put an inuse tag on it. GA nom: Taris dueling ring

Hello, Graestan.

I was curious about the Taris dueling ring GA nom. I hope I have met your requirements, but I am concerned about the in-text citations. I know that there has been detailed discussion about upgrading the GA requirements. I scaled back some of the in-text citation because I had one almost every-other-sentence, at one point. Does this count as being fully sourced within the article? Thank you very much and have a stupendous day. Master Aban Fiolli (Alpheridies University ComNet) 20px 21:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Signior Fiolli, you really don't need so many. If a paragraph's content is from one source, just put the tag at the end of the paragraph. Otherwise, put ref tags at the end of passages of information from any source, only retagging when information in the same paragraph comes from another source. The sourcing is fine. I just wanted you to drop the "Sources" section after the "Appearances" section and before the notes and references, as it is redundant. You've done very well with the improvement, and with handling the objections. - Graestan 20px (This party's over) 22:12, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
    • Thank you for your help in improving the article and your kind words. Do you think this article could really be upgraded to FA? I am personally not sure what more could be added other than information about champions. I've searched all of KotOR to see what I could find. If you have any suggestions, I'm open. I am, however, focusing on restoring Manaan to FA status at the moment. I'd be happy to get back to the dueling ring in a couple of weeks or so. That way my eyes are fresh looking at the text. Master Aban Fiolli (Alpheridies University ComNet) 20px 04:33, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Help... Please?

I know that it's my own problem, and I should be working on it myself, but can you help guide me through the process? I'm somewhat of a noob... Jedipilot94File:Fordocw.jpg|25px *Fo-Shizzle* 01:55, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Hey, what do you want to know? Ask away.—Graestan 20px (This party's over) 02:32, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
    • I would like to know not only how to right a great article, but how to fix up an article in dire need of fixing. (Thermal...) And how to read through and pick up things needed to be fixed, before anyone can find them. Thank you!! I'm in your debt. (How 'bout a life debt?) Jedipilot94File:Fordocw.jpg|25px *Fo-Shizzle* 01:16, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Re:Thon

How unfortunate. That happened to me once (on a much smaller scale), and I know how annoying it is. I really like everything else you've added. Good luck, -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 10:16, 20 October 2007 (UTC) (p.s.If this is just an excuse then it's been pretty effective :P)

  • Great work! I'm not going to have too much time today (t'is my birthday), but I'll have a look at the P&T and see what I can add. I added a tiny bit in the Bio, which I hope fits in well. I will take care of the redlinks this afternoon also. About the intro, I agree it needs to be re-wrtitten — I just cobbled something together because I hate having text alongside the infobox. Hopefully we'll have it ready real soon -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 10:04, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
    • Thanks Graestan. I've looked over what you've done for Thon, and I think it's great. I've sorted the redlinks, so other than the images and the intro I think it's ready (once you're happy with all my sections). You're ok to do the intro, right? So hopefully we can nominate it tomorrow (or the day after if we're having trouble getting the images). :) Oh, and I've finished working on and looking over Finhead Stonebone, and I was wondering if you could give it a copyedit. Thanks, -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 23:05, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Ood Bnar

I thought it would be good to have an image of Ood as the gatekeeper of his own holocron in his article somewhere. So I uploaded this image of him giving his prophecy to Nomi Sunrider. As I know you and AdmirableAckbar are working to get this one nominated as FA (which I voted for) I'll let one of you two decide if and where in the article it should go. - JMAS 03:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

My Zekka Thyne featured page nomination

Hey, my name's Colin. I've been working very hard on the Zekka Thyne page for a featured article nomination, and as of right now, I've added all the pics and info I can get my hands on, read and reported on all the material the character is featured in, and addressed almost every concern that's been voiced.

The only thing that hasn't been addressed is that the article is lacking specific information about the Star Wars Galaxies missions Zekka assigns. Unfortunately, I can't find that information anywhere online, and since I haven't had a SWG account in years, I can't log on and find it myself. I'm hoping somebody will add that eventually, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it's pretty minor information, and would argue it shouldn't hold up its nomination.

I've been told the nomination has potential but doesn't have the votes, and that I should ask some people to review it for me. (I haven't actively asked people yet; I've never really gone through this process before.) I was hoping maybe you'd take a look at it and see if it's worthy of a vote from you? Or give me any further suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

External links

I noticed you're systematically removing external links to Wikipedia and various fansites. I think some of the links you're removing are at least as helpful to the article as a CUSWE link. I'm partially reverting the edits to Mon Calamari at least, since the SWTC link contains some extensive and relatively reliable analysis. As for the idea of retaining Wikipedia links, maybe this needs further discussion? —Silly Dan (talk) 13:06, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

  • External links are where we put our links to non-canon and unofficial sources, so I think SWTC, CUSWE, or even Wikipedia links are OK, as long as they are informative. As for SWTC's reliability, I think some of its pages are reliable and informative, at least. Of course, a Wikipedia link to "minor characters in Star Wars" doesn't have enough information to be worth a link, which is why I only partially reverted the Mon Cal article. I think we could also return the Wikipedia links to our articles in cases where Wikipedia has a real article, too. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:04, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Wooden-hulled battleship

Hey Graestan. Could you have a look at my nom of the wooden-hulled battleship as an Inq? Cheers. --Eyrezer 19:48, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Hobbes gave it the last Inq vote it needed, so don't worry about it. Of course, if you feel like reading it anyway go ahead! :) --Eyrezer 22:18, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes, more wampa!

Now that I've started this thing, I can't leave it until I've done everything I can, and I feel that only ends when it reaches FA status. I'm still working on trying to include info from every appearance listed. I know there is a little more information from Darksaber, which I've never read, but after that, I believe everything is a (Mentioned only). Then I hope to FAN it. I appreciate your continued help. The source of the Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptor's speed rating has clearly made an error -- surprise, surprise, a factual error concerning SW!!!

Incredible Cross-sections's purpose is not stats. That series is not a reliable source at all on stats. It was developed by 3rd parties who have little reliability in comparison to LucasArts.

The Eta-2 is drastically heavier than the TIE Interceptor. It's size is far greater, it sports at least one additional system (lifesupport), additional weapons (ion cannons), far heavier laser cannons, and an entire R2 unit. It is impossible for a craft the size of the Eta-2 to outrun a craft the size the TIE/in by a magnitude of 12!! I am willing to grant that it *is* possible, but there is no way in this, that, or any other galaxy that 2 craft that are both topped out at full speed capabilities based on Ion Drive technology can differ SO GREATLY in speed that the HEAVIER and LARGER one is faster by a magnitude of 12!

The whole basis of the TIE Interceptor before the Prequel Trilogy started coming in and destroying all the knowledge we'd previously had was that it was the *fastest* starfighter at its time of deployment (the A-Wing came *after* the Interceptor, supposedly in response to it). If the Empire's whole premise of limited-systems, survival-by-numbers-and-speed were true, they would have very CLEARLY developed an Eta-3 (or some other number) that was the Eta-2 lacking life-support and R2 unit. After all, it was 10x faster, and if they chose to keep the weapons configuration, it had far, far superior firepower.. and they could even make the laser cannons light version, or have removed the ions altogether, and *still* have had firepower superior to the TIE/in.

Knowing the basis for the TIE/in (orignally the most superior fighter ever manufactured on its release date), and the premise of the Empire's Starfighter Corp (superiority through numbers & speed), there is no way the Eta-2 could be faster by a magnitude of 12. Maybe up to 2, but 12 is would be too large for the Empire to have discarded in order to eventually develop the "fastest" starfighter in galactic history.

Either Incredible Cross-Sections severely inflated the Eta-2's speed rating, or the sources of the speed ratings for the TIE/in and A-Wing Interceptors severely underestimated their ratings (which is unlikely, as the sources for the latter 2 are both Star Wars: Behind the Magic, a *direct* LucasArts production, and is therefore FAR, FAR more reliable than some 3rd party making money on an unreliable picture-book series).

Sourcing Grand Master

Graestan, I've been contacted by an individual requesting that I source the edits I just made on the Jedi Grand Master article. I have no problem doing so, but how would I alert others not to remove that which I added? I don't want someone to get hasty and delete stuff because I couldn't source everything fast enough for them. (and how do I get my signature to be permanent like yours?) Please advise, thanks. >(Now, you will experience the full power of the dark side) 5:46am, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Grand Master

Graestan, thanks for editing the Grand Master article. I wasn't at a computer to make the necessary updates to the article. I apologize for elaborating on the Odan-Urr part of the article as it was never explicitly stated that he held the title. I had started with the "death" section of the article but didn't complete it. I was going to further elaborate by explaining how though each experienced the pain of loss, it never drove them to the dark side (trying to show their adherence to the Jedi ways & obligation to the light side of the Force.) If you feel that is still a little unnecessary, I'm cool with that. If there is anything else that needs to be rectified, I am more than willing to do so. I just want everything to be as factual and informative as possible. I appreciate your feedback, thanks. Tommy 05:00, 27 December 2007 (UTC)Tommy9281, 12/26/2007, 11:56pm

Cleanup

Thanks for the reply. As for everything else on the "G M" article, does it look kosher to you? I am in the process of updating info & adding sources to it as we speak. As far as you can tell, how does the sourcing look? This isn't as easy as I originally thought, but I believe I'm getting the hang of it. Please advise, thanks.

Almost there...

I'm very near feeling comfortable enough to subject wampa to the FAN page. Just a few more minor touch ups. Before submitting, how do you feel the quotes and the pics are? I have one more quote I would like to use, though it comes from material in the "Wampas in the galaxy" section, which already has a quote. It's something like "What have you learned?" "Never try to reason with a wampa," between Tholme and Quinlan Vos. Am I correct in thinking it would be inappropriate to put it under the "Other Hoth encounters" subsection? Also, after dividing the article into another sub-section, I'm afraid that it might need one more picture at the bottom. Toprawa and Ralltiir 03:19, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Revisions

I'm curious as to your opinion on what to do with the last remaining Ataru-objection concerning the intro. It would seem to me that the attack on Skywalker is notable enough to be included, though that's purely from an OOU perspective. There is nothing among IU material that gives that incident any more significance than any other wampa attack. Would you just throw the info concerning the attacks on Echo Base at the end of the second paragraph? Perhaps add more information from that attack? Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:04, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to propose a review of the Independence article for the upcoming Inq meeting. Edit summaries

Apologies. That was actually my intention, but upon re-reading my last two, they were pretty snide. Maybe it's time for me to head to bed for the night. Wildyoda 05:20, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks. However, I do disagree with your reverts of my changes. If you look down the page, on Kol Skywalker, it plainly states that they were secretly married, and the sentence was sourced, so I think that should stay. And although maybe the intro should be written more like Obi-Wan Kenobi where it mentions he "received training from" (rather than "was the Padawan of") I really really don't believe that "former" fits well the way Wolf Sazen is written. If you are talking about Sazen in a particular time period, okay, but not in an overall introduction to his life. I'm not reverting them simply because I don't want to seem argumentative. I just want to discuss rather than having my edits totally vanish because I was obnoxious about making them. Opinion? Wildyoda 05:28, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Holocron of XoXaan

Hello, Graestan. If Darth Bane can't have Revan listed as one of his Sith masters because of his holocron, then why does Darth Krayt have XoXaan listed as his Sith Master? We shouldn't have it both ways, either we list Revan, (and for that matter, Freedon Nadd and Belia Darzu, as well) or we should take XoXaan off as Darth Krayt's Sith master. I would vote to put Revan as one of Bane's masters, since Darth Talon does tell Cade that XoXaan was his greatest master, but that's me. Prov-class

Greetings, I documented my reasoning for my edits to the Providence-class Carrier/Destroyer on that articles talk page. I wonder why you reverted my edits without addressing my points in the discussion? --Jerry 00:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

        • Thank you for replying. Several points:
      • I was not referring to "discussion" as though there was an actual back and forth dialog; I was in fact, referring to the "discussion" tab on top of the page. Apologies if I was unclear.
      • The "sourced material" I removed was for the "Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross Sections" which offers NO statistics for the Providence-class Carrier/Destroyer. The RotS ICS has stats for the Invisible Hand, which the ICS itself states has "major design modifications" pertaining to the hangars and what is normally present in those spaces (pages 14,15 fold-out).
      • Apologies if I acted swiftly on only "one-sided, unopposed argument and some petty threats of edit-warring." If you will notice, this matter has been brought up before three years ago on the article's talk page and no action was taken. I would ask for your evidence for my "petty threats of edit-warring." My exact words pertaining to the edit were (from the article in question's talk page):
        • "Since I have been unable to find a source that substantiates the stats cited in this page, I will remove them. If anyone finds a source supporting the figures, by all means state it here and reinstate them."
      • That statement is hardly a "petty threat". My other statement on the matter is from my Edit Summary following your first reversion:
        • "Please see my justifications in the discussion for these edits before summarily reverting the material. I am not vandalizing this page"
      • Again, if you would indulge me by pointing out "petty threats of edit-warring" for I can see nothing threatening and nothing remotely impolite about either of these comments. Indeed the first is rather conciliatory, and the second, a request to review the evidence I presented for my edit in the discussion page before summarily reverting my edits. I am not sir, looking for an edit war at all.
      • As for lack of and Edit Summary on the initial edit, I am admittedly at fault. I forgot to enter a summary before clicking "submit." For that lack of oversight, I apologize.
    • I do not strive to cause trouble or create waves, if I have hit a nerve with you again, apologies and that was not my intention.
    • I am unaware as to when you will check my page again, so for ease of communication I am also post this on this page.
    • Cheers and thanks for your response.
      • --Jerry 03:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Sir, "I will remove them" was a statement to the effect that "I am going to edit this page". You neglected to note that I state directly after that "If anyone finds a source supporting the figures, by all means state it here and reinstate them." I am confused at your hostile attitude, I have hardly been impolite and took some time to address your points and apologies for my errors. To have you flippantly disregard all I wrote in response as "wasted" "time" without hardly addressing anything I said is frustrating to say the least. You declare I am unreasonable, and yet I did not enter into an edit war with you, apologized for my errors, provided my evidence for my edit, and have refrained from editing the page again until I receive the "all clear" as it were. I would suppose I am being anything but unreasonable.--Jerry 04:06, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Umm, hey!?

(Sorry about the title but it's the best I could come up with)

Anyway, hi! I'm a bit new to some of this (Wookieepedia editing and such). Although I've been a user for about a half year, I havn't really made many major edits except for [1]&[2], both of which are about Gasgano in the Cantina. Other than that I edit my own poorly formatted user page [3], and mostly hang around in some of the talk pages, hoping that someone will respond to the stuff that I post! You may not be able to help with one of my questions. Just in case though, this is where you will find the main one [4]. It is about the first Death Star and the destruction of Yavin 4 (or, more or less, the Battle of Yavin).

The next question (and some of the previous questions) I have asked Greyman. However he's been taking a Wookieevacation for seemingly the last 3-4 months or something (may be a slight over exaggeration). So I thought it would be smart to ask someone else. Seeing as though a few of the other admins I checked also are taking Wookieevacations, I thought I'd ask you.

I was wondering how to import an image form an outside source, like My Documents? And also, on a user page, how do you insert the little boxes that say things like "This User Suports The Empire" or "This User Is Christian" (I'm not Christian though and I don't think I suport the Empire, just examples)? —Unsigned comment by Mandalorian NerfHerder Maceo (talk • contribs)

McEwok

  • I cannot say for certain what the issues behind that block were, but arguing a point, and doing it civilly, is not generally grounds for a block. Based on his edits to the Consensus Track thread, I don't see a clear justification. Expressing disagreement does not equal undermining consensus unless he does something about it. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 04:19, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
    • My apologies if it came across as a scolding. While I do disagree with you, I did not intend to chastise you, but merely express my opposing viewpoint. However, as you said, there is probably a better venue for this. I only went to your talk page after I found that you were not in IRC. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 04:53, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
      • Okay. I have to log off soon, but a quick word in McEwok's defense: He's not trying to subvert the community, just trying to get his point across. If you look at any Talk page relating to Imperial Star Destroyers, he pushes his points vehemently, but rarely if ever does so uncivilly, and- having talked with him via e-mail- I'm pretty sure that he would abide the results of the CT, even if he pushes his opinion tooth and nail. It would be greatly appreciated if you could perform a copyedit for User:Goodwood/Project Destiny|Project Destiny. There's plenty of time left before it has to get plugged into the article it is meant to replace, so no rush. :-) --Goodwood 20px (Alliance Intelligence) 23:29, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Sikon

Why was he blocked? Darth Oompa Loompa 04:59, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

  • He blocked himself before he left. No administrator can overturn his block without violating administrative autonomy. And never mind Sentry. He's just trying to cause trouble, and will go away once everyone ignores him as they should. Graestan(Talk) 12:50, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

thanks for the heads up about reversion limits

I'll keep that in mind for the future! adamg0d 01:45, 22 February 2008 (UTC)adamg0d

Gotab/Bardan Jusik

it has been revealed that the characters Gotab and Bardan Jusik are the same person and i think that someone needs to merge their articles. This has been known for a while, yet nothing has happened, so i was wondering if you would be able to help. I am contacting a number of admins as well, so hopefully this will be able to be sorted out as soon as possible. Thanks for any help u can give me --Tom Slaughts 12:52, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi there

Thank you for the welcome. I don't really intend to make edits here, I just want to look up interesting articles, but I may do one occasionaly. May the force be with you.Black Kirby 03:19, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Zekka Thyne again

Hey, you may remember that I asked you for some help in looking over Zekka Thyne as a possible FA a few months back. I disappeared for a while, but am now back, and I believe the SWG problem that had been vexing me has now been resolved. I was hoping you wouldn't mind looking at the nomination again and either supporting it or letting me know if anything else needs to be done. Sorry to bother you again, but I think it's almost ready to be featured. Thanks! --Colinmcev 06:39, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Communications disruptions can mean only one thing...

Dunno what's going on with our MSN contact info bud. Maybe if we tried deleting our mutual contact info and re-adding it would fix things. If it's any help, I'm on Trillian, and it may be acting up.--Goodwood 20px (Alliance Intelligence) 23:36, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Inquiry regarding deleted page...

Hey Graestan, A friend and I created a page on the jedi "Sebas Tain" from the planet Avon. Upon creating this page it was almost immediately deleted by you. Here's the deal- we know this jedi does not exist. We are simply trying to play a practical joke on a friend named Sebastian (as you can see, their names are made up of the same letters) who lives in our town on Avon Street (same name as planet). We want to keep this page up for long enough so we can direct him to it, and possibly blow his mind. Can you let us recreate it and keep it up for a short period of time so we can do this? Thank you. Sorry.

Sorry about IRC. When I changed my nick, I forgot to register my name back again, and didn't get your messages. :( I wasn't snubbing you or anything...I didn't even realize until now that unregistered nicks don't get PMs. Again, I'm sorry. :( StarNeptuneTalk to me! 08:11, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Project Wormhead, March edition

Not ready, are you!

Not ready, are you!

A message from the project manager
Rolling along with User:Atarumaster88/Project Wormhead|Project Wormhead.
March rolled around fast for us, and I've been taking stock of the progress so far. A lot has happened, and I want to thank anyone who's contributed so far. You all are making this dream a possibility. For those of you who haven't yet gotten a chance to work on Wormhead, please do so. This project is only possible if everyone helps, and so if you can pitch in, please do. Despite the progress, we are still a little behind (and part of that is my fault-I hope to catch up in March), but it's nothing we can't recover from. This month is originally set for working on non-canon sources, Marvel, and I need one brave soul with the Holiday Special, some time, and a strong stomach to get the info from that if at all possible. However, don't let that stop you from contributing wherever you can and see fit. We also now have a bit of a sandbox to play with for the project: User:Atarumaster88/Wormhead Reloaded. I thank you all again for your commitment and am looking forward to a productive month. Cheers, Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 16:06, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Please check out the Project Wormhead page and contribute.

About Shaak Ti

everything I wrote was cannon so why did you reverted my edits? —Unsigned comment by 69.79.229.249 (talk • contribs)

  • Well, the main reason was POV, and then some speculation. Graestan(Talk) 03:06, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Question

Quick question re: Forum:Unnamed, unknown, nameless - what exactly is "piping"? I'm definitely for Unidentified first, but I'm unsure what piping refers to. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:40, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Yeah I was wondering that as well. Is that using the pipe (|) ? -- Riffsyphon1024 00:56, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
    • It refers to using a pipe in the categorization template so that it's sorted in categories by something other than the first letter of the article title. Goodwood first suggests the possibility in his 01:34, 27 January 2008 comment on that page. jSarek 01:10, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
      • Ahhh, I see now. Thanks JSarek. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:15, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

WookieeProject Tales of the Jedi

Hey, Graestan. As you know, I've updated the main focus of WP:TOTJ. If you could review the new main focus here and contribute where possible, it would appreciated. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 15:43, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

New Logo

Well time's passed and that logo has rot. i think it is a time to change it. Well I'm not going to tell you what because I want to give you the freedom you need. It will be also good before changing it to launch a poll for the other users to choose one of the choices you give them. Well if you don't like the idea just turn it down. But I believe it is time for changing in this Wikia. George Skywalker 19:44, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Re:GHW questions

Some answers:

  1. I would say so, yes, as they tie into it. It probably shouldn't be covered as in-depth as the main war, but it certainly warrants a description.
  2. Arc is probably best. If someone wants us to, I'd be happy to go over it and change it to issue after we've finished.
    • *cough* Ref by issue number if possible *cough* ;) Not a huge deal if it's not, but it allows for more accuracy, imo. Greyman(Talk) 00:46, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
  3. I think we'd planned for me to solely do the FOTSE and Post-war portions of the history section, and you to do all the other sections. Though I'm easy, so whatever you want.
