Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our welcome page has everything you need to get started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

Yes I am experimenting. I wrote a fanfic for the rebels season four finale and I was just doing a test to see how it looks on Wookieepedia.But I will allow you to remove it. User:DevonHeaven

It has already been removed. Please do not add fan fiction to Wookieepedia. Text looks like text everywhere. I invite you to experiment on the fanon wiki I linked above. Samonic

Tierny Infobox Image

Hey there! I saw you changed Tierny's infobox image because you believed it was better than the current. Unfortunately, someone reverted that edit because the Wook prioritizes 1. Neutral facial expressions, 2. Good lightning, and 3. Forward facing. While I think your image met the first criteria it sorely lacked in the second and third. Elk

Hi DevonHeaven, I've reverted your edit to Elk since the source doesn't give his gender, it only provides his pronouns, which we are no longer using to assume gender. This is because in-universe and in real life there are instances where folks will use pronouns that don't match the gender we might assume for them, for instance a non-binary person might choose to use he/him or she/her pronouns. Fanon

Hey there (again). I'd like to remind you that you shouldn't add fanon to Wookieepedia because this wiki is not a fanon wiki. Fanon is welcome on the SW Fanon wiki, you can add your own creations to that wiki. Pellaeon

Hi DevonHeaven, I've reverted your edit to Pellaeon again since there is nothing in that source suggesting that he was "tentatively" assigned to Thrawn's forces. Also, changing the Seventh Fleet's formatting to "7th Fleet" in the infobox results in a weird look next to the "Third Fleet." This was discussed during the article's nomination for Featured Article status. For your future edits on a status article, if you are unsure if your edit is productive, I'd recommend you ask on the article's talk page first. Let me know if you have any questions. Hello. I have noticed you made the same "7th Fleet" change twice again, and I'd appreciate it if you could stop doing that per the reason above. You are always welcome to discuss it here or on the subject's talk page, but reverting an edit back without responding to messages is not a productive thing to do. Thank you. Visual Editor

Heya, just to let you know that you seem to be using the Visual Editor, which tends to create bugs like extra spaces whenever edits are made. I recommend that you switch to Wookieepedia's official editor, known as the "2010 source editor," which you can do so through the editing tab in your Preferences page—the source editor lets you directly edit the code of a page so it allows you to have precise control of your edits. Moving pages

Hey Devon, if you wish to move an article to a different title (as I assumed you were trying to do with Unidentified female Inquisitor), you want to use the Move functionality (in the dropdown or Special:MovePage) and not just copy the text to a different title and blanking the old article. Reconquest of Mandalore

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! I politely ask that you refrain from readding those shield commandos and commando unit leaders to Reconquest of Mandalore, they are not separate unit types from the armored commandos, they just operate the shields and lead other commandos. Unless you can provide a source that identifies these as subunits, or identifies the Mandalorian base as a fortress, I'm kindly asking you stop implementing these claims in articles as multiple editors tried to reach out to you about that before. Blanking

Please do not replace Wookieepedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wookieepedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content.
