Sith monastery

Do you know if Jedi Quest: The Final Showdown includes the Great Temple (Korriban) or the Sith Academy (Korriban)? --Goodmind (talk) 05:35, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

Talk pages

Hi, please do not remove talk page messages, as you did here, from talk pages as all talk page messages are part of the public record and per policy not to be removed. Thanks! Fan26 (Talk) 05:19, 24 November 2023 (UTC)

Re:Showing you changes to an article that I want permission to make

Hello there! You could try making a screenshot of the changes you wish to make and uploading it, either directly on-site or on an image hosting service such as Imgur or others, or you can share it on Wookieepedia's Discord server. Hope that helps, Imperators II(Talk) 09:15, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

  • Sure, though it would be better if you would source that information, that is, add references to those bits of info to show which SW sources they're from. Imperators II(Talk) 08:33, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

RE: Why did you revert my edits to Jedi Civil War?

Hello Darklordoftech. Well, quite simply, your edit removed sourced content from an article without providing any indication as to why you did it. This is an editing community and we should never not document (through the "Edit summary" field bellow the editing window) the change we introduce in an article. Some changes are simple enough and can be covered with the use of the "standard summaries" selection, but other, like removing content, may need a more specific explanation. Example, a few day ago I removed a species in the appearance list of TLJ, and I used the resume to explain that the reason behind this removal was a misidentification of an unknown species in a specific location, and I was aware of how that part was added to the article, because the anon user who added it prior used the edit summary and I was able to find it in the article history. Hope that answer your question, but if you need further explanation or have any other question, please don't hesitate to reach back to me. Also, please, mind to sign your message on talk pages (users or articles) by using four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your message. NanoLuukeCloning Facility 19:14, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Removing information

Please do not remove the information regarding Kashyyyk being in an early draft for Return of the Jedi, as it is properly sourced to a StarWars.com article, and removing verified information is considered vandalism. Thank you for your cooperation. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 23:34, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

RE: Dark Empire endnotes

Hello Darklordoftech. The Wook articles can be linked in the {{Hyperspace}} template via |int=. About the actual question, I believe listing separately released essays with different release dates as just "Dark Empire endnotes" would be unhelpful for readers, and it's, in a way, similar to listing individual comic issues instead of comic story arcs in my opinion. RE: The Rakata WEG rulebook retcon

I see the dots you are connecting, but even with your explanation I had to go digging through the books to understand the nature of the claim. For me, the term "alien traders" indicates that the species themselves were a willing participant in the proliferation of the hyperdrive; the Rakata certainly were not this, as the drives were either fused with fixed-position hyperspace beacons in the case of the Tionese, or eventually reverse-engineered by the Corellians and the Duros, well after the fall of the Infinite Empire. On the other hand "alien" and "Unknown Region" pretty accurately describes that Rakata in very general terms. The biggest issue is that for our articles, we need to explain it clearly, and the basic addition to the appearance list with a simple retcon tag doesn't clearly inform the reader why it appears. Similarly, the explanation for its inclusion on the Rakata article has to be equally clear and accurately sourced to allow the reader to have a full understanding of the nature of the claim. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 01:12, 21 August 2024 (UTC)

Source edit & JCF

Hello Darklordoftech. Since you've now been an editor (your work on Legends articles, especially for sourcing them, is appreciated ;) ) for a while, may I suggest for you to move from editing with the visual editor to the source editor. It's really not complicated to use, you will have more control over your edits, and it will stop your edit from introducing formatting error like additional spacing in the titles, that visual editor tend to leave behind (which me and others have to correct after).

I'd also like to take this opportunity to talk about the Jedi Council Forum. I know you've left numerous messages in the past on the Wookieepedia topic there, mostly to ask questions about sources or Wookieepedia policies. However, JCF is far from being the best place to ask such things, as most people there aren't editors and won't be able to answer your questions most of the time. Instead, I would highly recommend you to join our Discord server. The editing community is very active there, and you'll be able to get help much faster this way.
